Nolan stomps, CJ covered the best reasons. I’ll just add that his quotes about justice/will power etc are truly powerful lines.
Additionally, the moment in City where Ra’s impales himself and Batman avoids the blade during the free-fall is forever cemented in my mind as one of the biggest bozo moments I’ve ever witnessed. It’s just embarrassing, how you gonna go out like that.
@decaff: @strawdiv: Debating in your own thread is fine so long as the purpose is to defend its validity by clearing up misinformation/arguing how the match-up is fair/giving new/non-obvious facts which would take the topic into new discussion worthy territory. Creating a thread with a winner in mind is of course not allowed, however that doesn’t apply here from what I can see.
You both resolved this in a mature and dignified way so well done.
@strawdiv: No, I’m saying that Sanji doesn’t have the AP to put Doffy down. There’s nothing pre-awakening you can use to scale his AP close to the same level as the accumulated damage Doflamingo was still standing from: Gamma Knife, Injection Shot, Counter Shock, Red Hawk, Kong Gun, Rhino Schneider, Python, Leo Bazooka etc then needing KKG to put him down. Moreover, Sanji will run out of stamina long before Doflamingo with the way the former uses his mobility and air walk, even with the boosters provided by the Raid Suit: when that happens after having to avoid awakened strings for a prolonged period, he’ll inevitably slow down, gas out, get caught then get his neck snapped.
@strawdiv: That’s true, Law’s teleportation makes it hard to tag him with that though which brings it back to why his powers enable Sabo and himself to last a while.
This is egregiously out of order: the most pertinent of which being a sick, life supported, dying Whitebeard who couldn’t even use ACoC being above Garp.
Anyway it’s impossible to say for now as we don’t know what it takes to KO them: Warcury no sold Luffy’s Red Roc to the degree where the latter’s hand was in agony. So we know that particular member is far more durable than Kaido.
@infinitemass: I’m conceding. My JW knowledge only goes so far as the films so I wasn’t aware of that insane comic speed feat- (assuming it’s canon to the films) Moreover I forgot to take into account the body armour his foes wear which indeed makes his striking more impressive as you’ve argued.
The only stance I’m sticking with is the windpipe crushing: Dom factually has the strength feats necessary to do that if he successfully grabs John.
