They're Everywhere!

Way back then, it was big news that a comic book character joined or quit a team, and they were loyal in that they only served on one team at a time! But these days, there seems to be a lot of characters who are on multiple teams these days and I felt obligated to try and list 'em all. These guys and girls serve on more than one group and it has be simultaneously with another. Feel free to suggest anyone who fits that I may have missed!

List items

  • He's the man. Wolvie used to be an X-Men and that was it but once he doubled up as an Avenger, he started leading the secret X-Force team in his spare time and then his duties increased yet again with serving on two separate Avengers squads!

  • Another guy who's everywhere! He's a member of 2 Avenger teams (the main one & Cage's group), plus he part-times as a member of the Future Foundation! Spidey! Where do you find the time to sleep?

  • Luke Cage was the leader of his own team of Avengers plus he lead the Thunderbolts!

  • The Bouncing Blue Beast doubled up with the X-Men and SWORD for a while. He then added to his duties as a member of the vaunted X-Club. Since then, he's doubled up as a member of the Secret Avengers and SWORD and he's also a member of the Illuminati now too.

  • It occurred to me that Mags also deserves a place on the list as way back then, he was the Headmaster of the New Mutants but also serving as the White King of the Hellfire Club!

  • Bad guys beware, Clobberin' Time is times two! That's 'cause the Thing is doubling up as a member of the Future Foundation and Cage's Avengers!

  • Cap is pulling double duty as the leader of SHIELD but also the Secret Avengers to boot!

  • Back during the days of WWII, Bucky not only was Captain America's partner, but he also apparently adventured with the Invaders, the Young Allies, and the Liberty Legion.

  • Marvel ain't the only ones who have guys on multiple teams. When you're the Fastest Man Alive, you have more time on your hands than most people and Wally West wasn't afraid to show it by being a member of the Justice League and the Titans simultaneously and then later on he was also a member of two separate branches of the Justice League; the Justice League America and the Justice League Elite.

  • Jessica Drew was a member of both HYDRA and SHIELD. Now she is a member of the Avengers and SWORD.

  • Under most circumstances, I'm not even going to bother with listing the Skrulls who were secretly imitating various heroes during the Secret Invasion as they were double agents but I thought Queen Veranke deserved a nod as she was not only a triple-agent to HYDRA, SHIELD, and the Avengers aside from also serving the Skrull Invaders.

  • Carol Danvers was very briefly the leader of the Mighty Avengers and also her own special Lightning Storm strike force of SHIELD.

  • Tony Stark has served as a member of the Avengers and the secret Illuminati group at the same time and he was once the leader of SHIELD while also serving with the Mighty Avengers.

  • During the Dark Reign; he was the commander of HAMMER, ran his own Secret Cabal, and was the leader of the Dark Avengers simultaneously.

  • Way back then, she doubled as the leader of the Hellions and as the White Queen of the Hellfire Club! During Dark Reign; she was a member of the Dark X-Men, as well as being part of Norman Osborn's Cabal while also a secret member of the X-Men.

  • Not only has Hal been a long standing member of the Justice League of America but he's also pulled double duty as a member of the Green Lantern Corps at the same time for many years. To simplify things, I'm considering Guy Gardner, John Stewart, and Kyle Rayner as falling in this category as well.

  • Aside from being part of the Nova Corps, Richard Rider has served simultaneously as part of the New Warriors and the Secret Avengers.

  • I believe she briefly doubled up as a member of the JSA and the Birds of Prey group.

  • Reed has served as part of the Fantastic Four and the Illuminati too!

  • Leader of the X-Men plus he served as a member of the Illuminati.

  • King to the Inhumans, he also served as part of the Illuminati cabal as well.

  • Bats was partners with Robin (or Nightwing or Red Robin) as well as a member of the Justice League too. I think for a while there, he was a member of the JLA and leading the Outsiders as well on the side. But in the new 52 Universe, he was a member of the Justice League but also served alongside the Justice League International group at the same time.

  • Cap was a member of the Justice League and secretly reporting the U.S. Air Force at the same time I think.

  • Mainly the Rocket Red #4 was the representative of the Soviet Union's Red Rocket Brigade on the Justice League International group.

  • When Baron Zemo gave Wondy his powers, he was secretly member of Zemo's Masters of Evil when he infiltrated the Avengers.

  • The Hood was the leader of his own gang of super-vills but also a member of Norman Osborn's Cabal too.

  • The God of Mischief has been around. Although he's been a member of the Asgardian Gods, he's also helped form and organize the architects of the Acts of Vengeance once upon a time; he also served as part of Nomran Osborn's Cabal.

  • This sultry spy was a member of the Danger Girl group but secretly also serving the Hammer Empire as the same time.

  • Stature was a Young Avenger who also doubled up in service alongside Captain America's Resistance against SHRA during the "Civil War". Even though she still served as a Young Avenger, she also part-timed as one of Hank Pym's Mighty Avengers!

  • Young Avenger who also doubled up in service alongside Captain America's Resistance against SHRA during the "Civil War".

  • Young Avenger who also doubled up in service alongside Captain America's Resistance against SHRA during the "Civil War".

  • Young Avenger who also doubled up in service alongside Captain America's Resistance against SHRA during the "Civil War".

  • The 2.0 Version was a Young Avenger who also doubled up in service alongside Captain America's Resistance against SHRA during the "Civil War". Even though he still served as a Young Avenger, he also part-timed as one of Hank Pym's Mighty Avengers!

  • Young Avenger who also doubled up in service alongside Captain America's Resistance against SHRA during the "Civil War".

  • Young Avenger who also doubled up in service alongside Captain America's Resistance against SHRA during the "Civil War".

  • Namor is the King of the Atlanteans but also served as members of the Defenders, the Avengers, and the Illuminati. He was a triple member of the X-Men but also served as part of Norman Osborn's Cabal and in the Dark X-Men too!

  • The son of Wolverine is just like his old man. Aside from serving in the Dark Avengers, he also pulled double-duty in the Dark X-Men too!
