Mrs. Miracle and Mr Terrific
For this tourney, I will be representing Big Barda and Mr. Terrific. Seeing how this is my first post, it will mostly be an introduction to my team and their capabilities. A more specific guide can be found below.

The Notorious B.I.G.
The Female Fury:
Barda own her own is strong enough to hold her own with Wonder Woman even being held back by Amazon battle rules. In her own words, she would have won if she wouldn't have lost her Mega Rod and if the Amazons went all out while sparring. Impressive showing of skill and power nonetheless.
She is strong enough to effortlessly restrain Guy Gardner. And she can tank the weight of a continent on her
Her Mega-Rod can take down other New Gods and even Superman.
- In the first scan Barda one shots Steppenwolf with the Megarod.
- A couple full on blasts from the Mega Rod crippled the Man of Steel.
Her Mega Rod even had enough punch to be the final blow to knock a Sundipped Superman off balance.
Well... How dipped was he? (He breezed through the League. Destroying Kyle's constructs which have contained Ultraman, planetary level blasts, supernovas etc like they were made out of soggy pieces of cardboard, apparently immune to kryptonite, flicks Diana aside, overpowers MMH's tp and so on)
She can also deflect energy attacks like she did against Grail's Omega Beams here. This is important because this very attack oneshotted Earth 3's Superwoman and Wonder Woman's bracelets which stood up against Darkseid.
There's more were this came from but this should suffice for an intro to the finest of the female furies.
But what's a New God without the...
The Mommabox
Introduction:
The Motherbox is as deadly as Big Barda herself. This masterpiece of sentient technology allows its wielder to open interdimesional BOOM tubes, redirect energies, protect against disintegration at an atomic level, heal fatal wounds and even alter appearances and more. All of which will not only come in handy later, but will ultimately secure victory for our team. This little box can do just about anything
BOOM!:
The Motherbox can do almost anything. But to be more specific...
Motherboxes are sentient supercomputers invented by Himon of Apokalips that allow New Gods like Orion to do the following...
- Open interdimensional gateways otherwise known as BOOMtubes.
- Alter Appearances
- Heal themselves or allies
- Reassemble the molecular structure of the user
- Boost durability
- Redirect energy
- Wipe memories
- Control the weather
- A lot of other random, yet awesome things. For example placing mental barriers to protect Superman
One of these awesome abilities is the ability of... Well just knowing stuff.
Often times the Motherbox will just know that danger is imminent likely due to their connection to Source.
Take this instance for example. The Motherbox notified that New God's allies were in trouble even though they were dimension away.
Or this instance. The Fatherbox the Apokaliptian equilvalent to a Motherbox senses trap being sprung.
In general, Motherboxes have omni-knowledge according to the Green Lantern database
There's more instances of this, but this ability should help defend against any surprises.
Speaking of surprises...
The World's End
Since SFW is allowing summons Barda being an elite in Darkseid's forces often leads forces into battle. To keep things fair my summons will be Darkseid's goombas.
First off there's the most known force of Apokalips the dreaded Parademons...
To keep things short, I'll introduce them with one of their more impressive feats
From Left to Right (Manga Style)
The Parademons take down the entire Green Lantern Corp converting the fallen to Parademons themselves....
But Barda has more to bring to the table. During her stint on Earth she lead Desaads new and improved Protodemons which speak for themselves (Manga Style)
- Big Barda takes the Protodemon for a test... A full on hit and its still standing.
- Overwhelm Powergirl
Nough said. One thing to keep note of is that each Parademon has its own Motherbox as shown in during First Apokaliptian invasion on Earth-0.

Introduction:
Scientist. Inventor. Superhero. Third smartest man on the planet. When it comes to Michael Holt, terrific is an understatement. Successor to the first Mister Terrific, Terry Sloane, Holt has carried on his legacy as he lead the Justice League of America and Checkmate exemplifing Sloane's motto of "Fair Play". In the New 52, he has continued being the genius superhero we all know and love. Most notably, he played a vital role in the second invasion of Earth 2 by Apokalips. Following the path that Sloane paved, Holt's uses science as a weapon as his T-mask and his T-spheres make him force to be reckoned with. But his deadliest weapon is sits right behind his mask...
Pity the Fool:
Since Mr.T is the brain of the group I'll start with his intelligence...
To start off, his T-spheres are controlled telepathically (Keep this in mind as it will come in handy later in the debate)
One of the most basic uses of the T-spheres is to provide an extra set of eyes for Mr.T to look through... Using this he perceive the battle through multiple perspectives without having put himself in the line of fire. In addition it can cross reference locations. The link also shows that he can use to the T-spheres to communicate with his teammates. His creatively named t-mash has thermal and can provide info on what he is looking at. Lastly, the t-spheres can track energy signs and he can see the entire electronic spectrum. And then there's this alert system. His sensors can pick up people breathing nearby so...
But enough about his vision, let's around to how takes away yours. First, off Mr. T is notable for being invisible to all technology. Not only this he can extended this field like he did to Hawkman and some drones. Just be sure he's invisible to all forms of electronic surveillance. Then on top of this he can use holograms to make things invisible via holograms. He can also create holograms for illusionary affect they are so effective even fooled the likes of Gorilla Grodd. Lastly, he can hack your tech as shown here.
Alright, here's were the Terrific part come in. His T-spheres are powerful to take down Captain Nazi.
And he will also be bringing the Boomspheres to the table. These are special T-spheres based on a corrupted Boom tube design. They work by well take it Mr.Terrific.
They are powerful enough to destroy the force field that held Darkseid. In his own word they freed him from that force field. Emphasize the power of these things, if you are caught in this vortex you will be teledismember as each part of your being is teleported away from each other.
They can absorb energy like they did with Darkseid's Omega Beams.
Just FYI, Holt as perfected the science of pulling things from other dimension or lensing. He even has HQ in the 9th dimension. Its called the T-sanctuary.
And this is just the tip of the iceberg...
What's the Scenario?
To put things simply, this is very much a brain and brawn team. Big Barda's role is to lay the pipe. She is a warrior who brings the power of a god to the table. But at the same time she offers versatility with her Motherbox. On the other hand, Holt being the genius brings all types hax with the tech he has at his disposal. As Fury once said, he uses technology to make a god out of a man. (Or something like that.)
During the week of training, is where Holt will shine the most for this very reason. In the Post-Flashpoint universe, Holt has his HQ in the ninth dimension and has perfected the science of lensing ,which allows him to pull things from different dimensions (Repeated just for emphasis). Add interdimensional travel (from both Mr.T and the Mother Box) to this combination and you have a team thheat pull resources from Holt's own collection and the Fourth World. Because of this, Terrific will have access to the following tech and more...
A multitude of T-spheres. He even demonstrates that he can pull them from another dimension if need be.
His Boomspheres.
His T-mask that makes him invisible to technology, allows him to interface with tech, and provides info on the things around him.
Aero-Discs either of his own design or from the Fourth World
- Parademons and Protodemons. Who will be armed with Apokaliptian weoponry and their own Motherboxes... (I've shown what they are capable of so I'll leave it at that)
An exosuit. Mr. Terrific built one for Dick Grayson.
There's more but once again this is an intro so cut the prep details short....
Now its time show why Mr.Terrific's the leader of Checkmate... For one Mr.T's is the third most intelligent man on Earth. When it comes to strategy there are chess masters and people who can keep track of both sides of the board. While blindfolded. With the Omni-Knowledge of the Motherbox and the intel provided by his own tech he analyze his opponents to make a battle plan.
Going into battle he will have his T-spheres spread across the battlefield providing eyes everywhere and allowing him to attack from anywhere. As shown earlier, his t-spheres can sense people breathing, Mr.T has thermal and he can read energy sigs so it is nearly impossible for your to remain undetected. Then there's Motherboxes Omni-Knowlegde.
He will assign a set of Boomspheres to himself and to Barda. While Barda calls for the Parademons and Protodemons to boomtube into battle, Mr.T will use his holograms to make himself invisible and use hardlight projections and additional holograms to generate illusions of himself and Barda across the battlefield. Keep in mind these illusions fooled a notable telepath Gorilla Grodd. He will also extended his invisibility to Barda and the Boomspheres.
Afterwards, Mr.T will begin analyzing the battlefield... Communicating with Barda's Motherbox and using the info provided by his T-mask, he will gather the data needed to devise a strategy for victory.
Nagato
Seeing as how Nagato is the powerhouse of your team, Barda will drawn towards fighting him. (The way we know he is the powerwise is because of the damage output he will show when fighting the parademons and hardlight projections, the T-mask can read energy levels and clock in how fast he is moving all of which will give his role away. Given that Barda has enough firepower to putdown Superman, the t-spheres (which are around the battlefield already) can put down Captain Nazi (someone on Captain Marvel's level), and the BOOMspheres (which are accompanying Barda) which can teleport body away piece by piece, I'd say he is trouble.
Ultimate Kitty Pryde
Since Kitty is acting as your fall back defense, she will draw attention to herself given Mr.T the opportunity to analyze her. Given that Mr. T has fought density shifter akin to Kitty Pryde and figured his power out in midbattle, he should be able to trap her in force field just he did to him. This should take her out of the battle. From there he could take her out completely should she choose to use her hardened form but nevertheless she is out of the fight at very least temporalily which is all we need. This is if the Parademons and the Protodemons haven't taken her out already.
Black Panther
Black Panther will be perceived as your team's main source of tech. BP can't detect Mr.T (at all), he can't detect Big Barda and the Boomspheres via tech so he is already at a disadvantage. If he tries to hack anything it will end badly considering what happened the last time he tried to hack someone whose mind was linked into their tech. If his suit is disabled like that then he will fail pray to the Protodemons or the T-spheres.
There are other ways to take him out effeciently but this should be enough for now...
Storm
To be honest, Storm is screwed here. She while be surrounded by Protodemons and Parademons who have overwhelmed Powergirl and Green Lantern respectively. If she tries to strike Barda or Mr. T ( if he is somehow exposed) then the Boomsphere's will simply absorb the lightning like it did against Darkseid's Omega Beams. The Motherbox can also redirect energies as well. Then if she manages to piss off Barda then there's nothing stopping her from getting bullrushed like Steppenwolf and Kalibak were.
Yankee Ingenuity
Even if things don't go exactly as planned, Mr. T has Yankee Ingenuity. Simply put he can think apply plans like this on the spot in midbattle which means we can adapt at any time. In the scan linked above, he magnetizes an Iron Man rip off on the fly. Big Barda, is a trained warrior whose skill rivals Wonder Woman. She too will be prepared to adapt and do whatever is necessary to win here.
If Barda is injured, the Motherbox can simply heal her so she can keep wrecking havoc on your team. Likewise, the t-spheres will come to her aid if needed. Having the Boomsphere surround Barda and Mr. Terrific essentially means your team cannot come close to our team with out being teleported apart and any attacks will just fuel the vortex of destruction.
There's also the BFR option but I won't into that unless needed.
Checkmate
- Due to Mr.T's tech he will be rendered untectable and Barda and the Boomspheres will be invisible to tech.
- The Parademons and the Protodemons who have overwhelmed people like Green Lantern and Power Girl will do the same to your team.
- Because of the Mega Rod and the Boomspheres as well as normal T-spheres, my team can easily outdamage your team.
- The Boomspheres are an example of the best defense being offense. Since they teleport any thing in their way to pieces and can redirect energy attacks you are really limited on how you can do damage to us.
- Because the Motherbox can heal its user and its allies the damage you do if any can be reversed.
- Becuase of the t-spheres Mr. T has eyes everywhere. We have thermal, sound detection, energy sigs, you name it.
- Then the Motherbox has Omni-Knowledge as well.
- Mr.T has already faced his universes Kitty Pryde and trapped him in forcefield after figuring out his powers within battle.
- If Black Panther tries to hack it will backfire horribly...
- Storm's lightning will be redirected into the Boomspheres and she will be overwhelmed by parademons.
- Nagato is heavily outclassed by Barda. Add the Boomspheres and he in for a world of Pain. :)
- You said your team outnumbers mine 9-2 but in with the summons and the t-spheres. It's more like hundreds of combantants that each pose viable threat to your team versus nine people. Nevermind the fact that I can keep summoning t-spheres and parademons.
- As Mr.Terrific would say Checkmate...
