Mister Majestic, The Kheran Knight

Why hold back?
Why hold back?

Born and raised as an elite warlord on the Planet Khera, Majestic eventually found himself assigned to a backwater planet the natives call Earth during the Kherubim-Daemonite War. Spending centuries at war, he ended shaping much Earth's history after his arrival. From days in the Big Three where he fought the Daemonite-backed Axis powers, to his time with Team 1, and his tenure with the WildCATs, Majestic has always been a force for Khera and justice.

The Wild Storm

Majestic has often been described a Superman that never held back. This section will show you why....

The first feat that people tend to gravitate to when reading about Majestic is the fact that he once rearranged the solar system...

Above, he is shown pushing Mercury into Jupiter's Orbit,

Here he adds a tenth planet to the solar system by adjusting a comet's path, uses his heat vision to ignite a star ingot to serve as a stand-in for the sun, then he proceeds to split the sun in two using an advanced ritual and some secret equations...

Not only do these feats show Majestic strength as he able to move celestial to and fro without aid, but it also demonstrates his intelligence and ability to act upon as any mistake in the process would change the system irrevocably.

But in addition to this, he was shown to put shift the

Likewise, he has shown have durability to match his strength. For instance, after chasing a starship across the cosmos he surviving plumetting into at superluminal speeds...

In his own words at the speed he was going a single dust mote would have the energy of a hundred Tunguska events. For reference, the event he is referring to had estimated yield at least a thousand times greater than the bomb drop at Hiroshima.

He has also survived being blown out of time as well. The blast which did so leveled Earth, the moon, and probably much more.

It is also worth noting that he doesn't tire... He proved as he maintained lightspeed for months without any substance whatsoever

While these feats show his physical prowess in its own right, his fights with other powerful beings will provide further insight into where he stands.

Namely, his fight with the Eradicator comes to mind...

Another example of his strength, was during his fight with Rampage who is stronger than Superman which I will post if necessary.

Just to keep things moving, his speed is another aspect that makes him well... Majestic.

To put things simply, Majestros has shown to be a react within nanoseconds as shown below

Rewrite billions of photons in the middle of battle as shown in his fight with the Eradicator earlier. (It also worth noting that this act gave the Eradicator what is essentially cosmic awareness).

Lastly, being the Kheran Warlord he is, his fighting prowess is unparalleled.

Just a quick example...

Hewre Majestros bests and disarms a sqaud of Coda Assasins in a blade battle. The closest analogue to these warriors would be the Amazons of the DC universe. There's much more where that came from but this should suffice for now.

======================================================================

But for all his power, Majestros recognizes that his most powerful asset is his mind...

Since I'll being going over his intelligence and how it applies in more detail in prep I'll just give you a general idea of how smart Majestic is... Contradicts the finest minds of the DCU... And was right.

And he was able to invent the molecular disentangler within seconds

No Caption Provided

There's some more stuff I could cover but this paint pretty good picture of who Majestic is powerwise.

What's the Scenario?

Pack A Punch

For our perk selection, we have the following...

  • The ability to choose the battlefield
  • 6 Hours of Prep
  • Majestic has endowed with Wolverine's notorious healing factor.

So just keep that in mind for the rest of the debate. It's also worth noting to someone that operates within nanoseconds, six hours is an eternity...

Genis And The Genius

According to tourney rules, we are allowed to prep anywhere as long as we are able to prove that our character has access to that place. So naturally, we will be prepping in Majestic's Rushmore Sanctuary where we have access to all of Majestic's tech.

First, this gives us access to Majestic's supercomputer which is able to accurately simulate the future as shown below....

The scans above show that the computer he has works on the quantum level in conjuction with computer from alternate earths to predict the future. In these scans, the computers analysis is able to accurate predict the arrival of the cosmic entity that Majestic had to rearrange the solar system to fool, and that Captain Atom's presence was going to lead to end of the Wildstorm Universe.

This combined with Genis' ability to look alternate realities and possible futures will almost certainly allow us to discern who you are, what you are capable of, how the fight will go, and how to counter you etc...

From here, Majestic go about gathering or building any equipment that will make achieving victory more efficient...

One of the most infamous weapons that Majestic can bring to battle are the Creation Blades which have been said to be able to cut through anything. In the past, they have allowed a street leveler (Nemesis) to cut through Majestic and in the hands of Majestic they were able to injure Tao, who had the power warp reality and essentially solo all of Wildstorm's Earth, to the point he could barely talk. Let alone stand or access his powers.

Next, Majestic will be bringing his exosuit from the Rushmore Sanctuary to help further tilt the battle in our favor. This exosuit was able to outright stomp Spartan who had previously been able to beat Majestic himself (albeit barely it was a pretty even match).

Additionally, Majestic has access to other pieces of tech like Nanoflauge suits that are essentially cloaks of invisibility. Kusar blades sharp enough to cut Majestic which he can bestow to Genis.

Additionally, Majestic can probably build more tech seeing as how invented a groundbreaking technology within seconds as shown earlier. But for this battle this should be enough to give us the advantage.

Just to the sum things up, Majestic will be using Quantum Supercomputer in conjuction with Genis' cosmic awareness to see how the battle will go and then will prepare for the battle based on what he has learned. For this battle, he has decided to bring the Creation Blades, the exo-suit, the Kusar Blades, among other things.

Genis will take care of masking our presence and preventing mind attacks if necessary in the meanwhile. After gathering the tech, Majestic will bestow Genis with the exosuit and the Kusar Blades. Doing so will allow him to strike with power that could probably stomp Majestic and that's without taking into account the Kusar Blades which could easily cut through people like Majestic before. Not saying that Genis will brawling here, just saying if someone decides to make him they'll have to deal with Genis' cosmic power along with his newfound strength. Majestic, however will be equiping his nanoflauge suit and will have the Creation Blades ready to strike at the right moment. Given that he also has Wolverine's healing factor he'll virtually impossible to take down physically and Genis will cover all of the other bases.

And that'll do for an intro....

Cosmic PYP Round 1: Deathhero61

The Doomsday Clock

Alright for this post I'll just be introducing my team, and their roles in the upcoming battle.

Key

1.) Mobius the Destroyer

2.) Brainiac, the Ultimate God Machine

3.) Brainiac 5, 12th Level Intellect

4.) Kang the Conqueror

5.) What's the Scenario?

Mobius the Destroyer

The Destroyer is Here...
The Destroyer is Here...

The being now known as the Anti-Monitor, once was Mobius the Destroyer. Roaming the cosmos on his throne, he sought to find the secrets of the universe. But this quest would leave his life changed forever as he became the first to discover the Anti-Life Equation. Reaching to it, he became forever bound to power and as result was reborn as the Anti-Monitor, an entity dedicated to destruction on a universal scale. After waging war with his counterpart, the Monitor, for eons... Mobius made a move that would shake the multiverse to its very foundation. Being responsible for the first Crisis, he nearly destroyed the multiverse until being stopped at great cost... Years later he would return to lead the Sinestro Corp in their war against the Green Lanterns. Near the end of this world, he was damaged by the detonation of Warwold and flung across the universe by Superboy Prime as revenge for Mobius destroying his world in the first Crisis. He eventually ended up being trpaped inside of the Black Lantern Corp Battery serving as the power source for the corp during Blackest Night. Breaking out of battery, he was sent back to the Anti-Matter Universe where he remained until Flashpoint. His last appearance, pitted him against Darkseid as he needed to spill the Dark God's blood to exist as Mobius the Destroyer once again... To put things simply his triumph was short lived but given his history this will not be the last you hear of him. Long Live the Destroyer.

  • Powerful enough to stalemate the Guardians (while weakened) and Darkseid (New 52)
  • The Anti-Monitor Astral Brain is powerful enough to shatter the Multiverse when fired through the Rock of Eternity
  • Can absorb the energy from fallen universes to amp himself
  • The Anti-Life Equation: Can control all life or Darkseid
  • Survived having War World dropped on him
  • Powered the Black Lantern Corp
  • Can summon Shadow Demons

Respect Monty

On his own Monty is one of the most powerful beings in the DC Universe. Even after reaching the peak of his power in COIE he has still been shown to be powerful enough to....

Take on the Guardians of the Universe while being weakened as shown below

And being able to take Darkseid head on in the New 52.

Even the detonation of Warworld, which was said to be able to destroy a galaxy, wasn't enough to take him down.

Despite the fact that he was weakened by this attack, and then flung across the universe by Superboy Prime on top of not being fully reborn in the first place, he was still strong enough to serve as the battery for the Black Lantern Corp.

His Astral Brain is said be powerful enough to shatter the multiverse by firing it through the Rock of Eternity.

But in addition to this, his connection to the Anti-Life Equation allows him to control either all life or Darkseid.

And he can summon shadow demons who were able to give people like Lex with the Omega Sanction trouble.

And that's just the tip of the iceberg as he is known for tapping into the energies of universes he has destroyed in order to amp himself so everything that I've stated before is going to get much, much worse....

Braniac, The Ultimate God Machine

A Universal God Machine... ~Telos
A Universal God Machine... ~Telos

Vril Dox like Mobius started out as scientist as well. Born a Coluan, he was the brightest among his peers. Seeking to also capture the secrets of those cosmos, he set off into space collecting cities and their knowledge across the universe. Along the way he evolved into the machine man we all know him has. His quest for knowledge has put him opposition with many, the most notable being the Last Kryptonian. Eventually, Braniac found himself at the mercy of the reality altering event known as Flashpoint. In an effort to escape being rewritten he traveled to the edge of the Source and beyond exposing himself to all timelines and universes in the DCU. As a result, he was mutated by the First Crisis and Zero Hour into the Ultimate God Machine, and all of his previous versions were discovered to simply be aspects of the one true Braniac. Collecting cities across continuity, he now experiments on an universal scale.

  • Technopathy
  • Telepathy
  • Knowledge of all timelines
  • The Power he had Convergence
  • Ship that dwarfs Earth
  • Can terraform planets
  • Able to pull entire cities from collapsing realities
  • Probes that are able to give High Trouble

Respect

The first and foremost, this version of Brainiac has ventured beyond the Source Wall and has been exposed to every timeline in DCU.

But not only that he has the ability to pluck aspects of each of those realities at his pleasure.

As revealed by Convergence, he has the ability to channel the power of time travelers like Monarch and Hourman. This power was said to be enough to collapse the Multiverse if not held in check.

Becuase of that power he demonstrated the ability to manipulate timelines like he did when he sent some heroes back to the original Crisis.

He also possessed the ability to terraform planets to where the could contain heroes from across the DCU and where it possess its on sentience.

Beyond this, he has established that every previous form of Brainiac is just an aspect of himself...

To Keep things simple, I'll just go over some the relevant feats for various of versions of the character.

For instance, Post-Flashpoint Braniac was able to psionic assualt the entire Earth.

Or his Post Crisis self, that had a ship that cause supernovas and create things like the Quantum Capacitor which was able to contain Pulsar Stargave, a supercomputer made from a white dwarf. It is worth noting that this type of containment takes all energies used in attempt to break it and turns it against you.

He can also summon constucts that given people like Superman and Martian Manhunter trouble before. As well having the option to exist in nanite form with a grip as strong as Doomsdays.

The last thing that I'll mention for now is that as a technopath he'll be able to take over technology like he did to LexCorp and Pulsar Stargave.

Brainiac 5, 12th-Level Intellect

With the right amount of genius and a touch of perceived insanity, science can conquer anything.
With the right amount of genius and a touch of perceived insanity, science can conquer anything.

A descendant of Brainiac, Querl Dox is a Coluan with twelfth level intellect making him a genius even by Colu's standards. Serving as a long term member of the Legion of Super Heroes, he has proven to be one of the most powerful minds in the DCU even helping to take down galactic threats such as the Time Trapper, Validus, and the Sun-Eater.

Alternate Pic

  • Possesses and Understands the Miracle Machine
  • Calculating strategies with his twelfth level intellect
  • Force Shields
  • Time travelling devices
  • Devices that countered the Time Trapper's manipulation
  • Mapped the Multiverse
  • Anti-Energy Bomb...
  • Has the knowledge of thousands of civilizations across the universe in 31st century

Respect

Like the other members of this team, B5 is well versed in traversing both time and space.

He has mapped the Multiverse as seen on Starman's costume.

And he has mastered time travel as he is one that brought Superboy to the 31st century in the first place. He has made various time machines through his many incarnations that have allowed him and others to traverse the timeline. Time Cube, Time Spheres and Chronexus, time viewers etc...

Some of these devices have been able to counter the powers of the Time Trapper a being a manipulating the timestream, creating pocket universes, and destroying galaxies.

He has been able to develop weapons like the Anti-Energy bomb which simply absorbs all types of energy which has managed to kill a Sun-Eater...

In possesion of the Miracle Machine given to him by the Coltusians. The Machine itself allows its user to rethink reality and was powerful to erase Final Crisis Darkseid from the multiverse.

Kang the Conqueror

It is the conquerors who change the world...
It is the conquerors who change the world...

Born in the 30th century , Nathaniel Richards emerged in reality where mankind never entered the dark ages as after years of warfare humanity has finally found peace with itself. Being a descendant of the late Reed Richards and possibly Victor Von Doom, Kang's intellect was rivalled by few and excelled by fewer... Things were promising for him but due to intervention by his future self, he eventually became Kang the Conqueror, a time travelling conquistador that would go on to be one of the greatest opponents the Avengers ever faced and taken down thousands of empires in the process.

What's the Scenario?

Pack-a-Punch

  • Perfect Teamwork
  • Prep Anywhere for 5 hours

Now that I've introduced the individual parts of my team, let's talk about what they can do together and best place to start is my perk selection.

According to Zets

"You can prep anywhere you want as long as you can prove your characters have access to it and would choose to prep there in character. So like... You can't prep in the House of Mystery unless you have someone like Constantine or Zatanna.

Now, if it's prepping in a place that your character used to have access to but no longer does, I'm gonna say... Yes. Again, you'd have to prove at least one of your characters would choose that place if they can (So like, the Maker gets his Dome because it's an established part of his character, even though he lost it)."

So for my team I would access to places like Kang's base in Limbo, Brainiaic's planet in Convergence and his various starship's throughout the years, the Legion of Superheroes base because of Brainiac 5, and Anti-Monitor's Citadel from his initial attack on the Multiverse. Just keep this in mind as we go through the rest of the debate.

Zets also said

"Your prep time is from your team's POV. So they can speed themselves up or slowdown the outside world all they want, but 1 hour is still 1 hour.

Given that every single member of my team has some degree of time manipulation, this means I have speed up and slow down the outside world to expediate certain plans that I will discuss later. To give an example, if Brainaic 5 was making a compound that would usually take days to make we could speed the outside world up to where it would be done near instantly. Keep this in mind as well.

Lastly, because my team is working in perfect unision this means that there won't be any problems with a hero like Braniac 5 helping the rest of the monsters take over the multiverse. And it also means that the rest of my team will simply align to their goals of conquest. But I'm sure you knew that.

Time for A Crisis...

Now my team is powerful on its own right, but after prep we'll pretty much be set up to cause a Crisis level event.

First, Brainiac establishes a mind-link between all componets of my team so everyone is on the same page and can communicate knowledge in the most effective manner. Given that everyone here was a supergenius at one point in time I'll just skip over the fact that Braniaic could their intelligence if he wanted. But becuase of this mind-link, everyone on my time has knowledge of all timelines and parallel universes becuase of Braniac and Kang respectively. They also have full knowledge of their capabilities and what the best strategy would be to ensure victory courtesy of B5.

The main component of this plan is amping Anti-Monitor. Given that it is his very nature is to destroy and consume universes, it'd be absurd to say that he wouldn't do so here. And because of my perfect teamwork, the rest of the team will be more than willing to assist. Since Brainiac has shown the ability to pull cities from timelines that were on the verge of Annihilation, he could pull Monty's Citadel to the battlefield.

Having access to the Citadel and weapons like his Anti-Matter Cannon , he will begin to do what he does best. Summoning his shadow demons to help watch his back, he begins converting the universe into antimatter and absorbing into himself. But more on this later.

Braniac then begins further terraforming the planet to his liking just as he did in Convergence. He then pulls B5's lab and the LoSH base to the planet as well. This allow B5 to access to his time viewers, time-cubes, and other LoSH equipment. But more importantly B5 also has access to Miracle Machine, which can alter reality based on the thoughts of it user, and the Concentrator, which can collect all the power in the universe. Using his time-viewers or just via mind-link with Braniac or Kang, B5 starts analyzing the enemy to access the threat.

Although Kang can simply pull weapons from the timestream, let's just say it is more convenient for Braniac to transport his base in Limbo to the planet as well. Given that Kang is a conqueror, he will gather as much power needed to ensure he wins. He has shown to have access to Cosmic Cubes as he gave the last one to Star-Lord when Magus was on the verge of ending the multiverse. So there isn't a reason why he wouldn't get one here.

Meanwhile Brainaic pulls in his various star ships to help assist in the battle. For this part of this debate, I'll just bring up the fact he access to tech like the Quantum Capacitor which will come in handy here.

Besides being powerful himself, he can also bring out probes if neccessary but at this point it won't be. Additional he could he give the planet sentience like he did with Telos in Convergence. Since B5 is probably the weakest member at the end of prep and he is already a Brainiac, he'd be the natural choice for becoming the new Telos here.

Now that everyone is prepped to a degree, the team analyzes your team and the upcoming battle using their knowledge of the timelines... Then creates a strategy for dealing with you.

But before I sum up what I did, just know that because of the nature of my team this is only one of the many ways this level of power could be achieve as each member except for Monty can basically switch roles interchangebly. Each are supergeniuses with time manipulation.

In conclusion

  • Brainiac has begun terraforming the planet bringing Monty's Citadel, LoSH headquarters, Kang's Limbo base to the planet.
  • Monty is given the resources to start converting universes and consuming them.
  • B5 has access to his lab, LoSH tech, the Miracle Machine, and the Concentrator. And is made into the "Telos" of the planet by Brainiac.
  • Kang summons a Cosmic Cube for the upcoming battle.
  • Brainiac calls in his starship, and his tech like the Quantum Capacitor
  • The team using knowledge of the timelines and future, analyze your team and develop a strategy to destroy them.
  • There could be more things done here but this should suffice.

Let Me Offer A Rebuttal...

The best to way to describe this post is as an attack on the usefulness of your prep and strategy as a whole, your characters capabilities, and your thoughts on my prep. But first, theme music...

Key

Pokemon Go

Starting off with Darkrai, I'll how he doesn't have much to bring to the table at least in context of this fight. I won't spend too much time on this since you stated yourself,

"He's not much, and doesn't seem to be able to do much this round because of your perks..."

But nevertheless, he will be addressed here...

For one, his telepathy pales in comparison to Charles Xaviers who could simply put the pokemon to sleep among other things... Darkrai doesn't have the feats to compete with likes of X especially considering the fact that X has been able to transit the thoughts of a entire world into the mind of Galactus, and has battled the Dark Phoenix on all planes of existence. Darkrai simply doesn't have anything that stops X from dismantling him in psychic battle...

Two, his void of Darkness is relatively useless here. You said it that is blocking city-busting attacks but what's that to a man who fights planet-tossers and swords that can cut through anything. Or someone who can clash with that was reshaping the world... The point is that the void of Darkness feats or absorbing city-level attacks doesn't cut it when Spartan is easily above casual planet level in physical stats alone.

Three, there is nothing stopping me from teleporting my teammates out of the range of the void should they even be caught in it. And additionally, if the void of Darkness was supposed to protect Darkrai as well there's nothing stopping me from teleporting him somewhere else... Like on edge of my Creation Blades for example or in the middle of the BOOMspheres...

There's few more reason why he is irrelevant to this battle but this should suffice as proof that he isn't a factor here.

Hocus Pocus

Magik, unlike Darkrai, makes things interesting but she too falls short in a lot of vital areas.

The first thing I'll address is your argument for her psychic defense... Remember how you brought that Magik is carrying the energy of Limb inside her... That scan was of telepaths weaker than X reading her mind... I can go more into this but this just shows that Magik's tp resistance definitely has its limits...

I just gonna predict that you'll argue that she'll have a spell ready for this but seeing as how she won't be able to detect X's presence given he is

  1. In a hidden location
  2. Masked from tech courtesy of Mr.T
  3. Made invisible via hologram tech, and mental illusion...

Even when Magik uses the Scrying she'll have no reason to have spell specifically for this purpose when she doensn't know that she'll be fighting a telepath in the first place. But there will be more on how Scrying useless later...

But all of that is just in regards of one way to take her down so I'm not going to spend a lot of time on this either.

Let's move to her other capabilities that you brung up....

Such as her speed. I loved how you claimed that your team is faster than ours when two of your members are consistently potrayed as slow at least in regards to Spartan...

If you can give one feat of Magik reacting in nanoseconds then I'll let the speed argument go but until then there is no way that she'll be able to prevent Spartan from killing her before she does anything. She doesn't have MFTL reactions and because of that she can't keep up.

Also, stop acting like telefragging would even be option here. Number one, the members of my team are invisible and undetectable to her. The only thing she'll be able to see if Spartan's entourage which is essentially a powerful distraction. Two, she'll be cut into pieces before she even considers this as an option.

Besides this Spartan simply survive this attack... One thing you have failed to even discuss is the fact that Spartan can transfer his "consciousness" to other bodies and be good as new. Even if she teledisected Spartan, one he would probably kill her afterwards as he has survived Majestic putting a giant hole in chest. Not only did he survive he just kept fighting and then beat Majestic. Two, he just transfer bodies and then kill her...

And then there's this...

Magik can effectively stop you from teleporting

Eeerm what? To start things off, Magik can't even register our method of teleportation given its only sensible by microvaritions on the quantum level and the fact those variations last for a nanosecond... Actually no let's just leave it at this.

Another mistake was attempting to counter my invisibility by saying that Magik could make your team invisible.... First off, how would this help you find my team so why would be a counter here. That's like saying that since your team has the ability to teleport that counter my team who can do the same but better. (But you kinda did that too so I guess I shouldn't be suprised.)

Lastly, her summons. By tourney rules she can only summon 200 Spiderman level summons. So I guess if she brings 200 mid tier demons the either get TPed by X, teledisected by the BOOMspheres, diced by Spartan... You get the point. They are futile. Seriously, the Spartan sentries have been able to harm and hold their own with Majestic before by themselves they'd stomp any summon you'd bring to the table.

Mr. Pudding

Beerus is indeed a formidable foe but because of your team set up and my strategy he is limited in his potential and will be taken off the table almost immediately.

Your "Hail Mary" is Beerus' speed literally without this everything on your team falls apart. Let me explain why. Without Beerus there is no one on your that can hope to compete or even keep up with Spartan Prime as he is leagues above them in power and speed. And because if you don't destroy each and every Spartan sentry, Spartan Prime will just body swap and keep coming back at you.

Now let me explain why this argument fails. Beerus has no nanosecond feats or any quantifiable speed feats on Spartan or Majestics level. Beerus would have to be faster than Majestic to be able to completely evade Spartan and considering Majestic is known for

2017 High Tier Third Post

So for this post, I'm just gonna address everything in the battle so far in sequential order just to paint a picture of what will actually happen.

Of course that means I'll need to go over your out-of-character prep again, since you didn't really get what I said in the second post.

Stick to the Script

In order to show you why your prep is a stretch let's introduce a test to see if somethings out of character.

Sly's Stick to the Script Test

  1. If a character has never used his powers/equipment in the way you are describing, nor has he done anything close to that then its probably out of character.
  2. If it involves equipment that the character has never used, has no experience using, or has only use few times in his career then its probably out of character.
  3. If the character has only acted in the manner you are describing only under special circumstance, and those conditions are not met here then its probably out of character.

This list should be pretty sound logically let me know if you have a problem with it.

Now lets see if your prep passes the test...

1.) The Humanifold.

  • Context: With the appearance of a new nonsense Flash who has crippled Captain Boomerang and Captain Cold in their latest battle, the Rogue's are desperate. In the words of Captain Boomerang, "none of you are tough enough to handle dags as mad as this Flash." So Boomerang calls up his contact T.O.morrow, who steals the Humanifold from the future. An hour later, they are ready to create the newest Rogue.
  • Now let's see if it passes the test.
  • For one, Replicant's creation ,which to my knowledge is the only notable usage of the Humanifold, was one of desperation. The Rogues knew they were outmatched severely which provided a special condition for them to act in such a manner. That condition is not met here as your team has no knwoledge of my team or their power and as such will not be reduced to desperate measures.
  • Two, aside from the special condition not being met here, the machine has only been used a few times. Actually this one was the only one I could find which justs strengthen my case that Weather Wizard using the machine here would be out of character.
  • Another thing is that instead genetically modifying all the Rogues they opted to amp one person which makes more unlikely that WW would think use the machine on himself let alone others.
  • Finally, it took T.O.morrow's men a hour to ready the machine in order to modify one person so on top of this being out of character it would take signifcant amount of your prep time.

2.) The Rogue's Hideout.

  • This is less of a stretch than the humanifold but there's still problem with it.
  • The main point being that you need to show that the Rogues, more specifically Weather Wizard, will give other people Rogue tech on their own accord and without special circumstance.
  • There isn't really a reason for WW to give his teammates the Rogue's weapons as he wouldn't typically do so and there is nothing that occurs before the battle that would prompt him to do so.

3.) The Watchtower

  • When has Cyborg or the rest of team, raided the Watchtower specifically to access weapons like Mento's helmet and Prometheus' helmet.
  • When has any member of your team use said tech.
  • In addition to all of this, Mento's helmet amplifies Mento latent TP ability which your team doesn't have. Furthermore, Mento's helmet increased his psychosis so I'm not sure if you'd even want this anyways
  • Like you admitted the Prometheus helmet is more of stretch than anything...
  • For one, Cyborg is in the JL in the New 52. Why would have experience with Prometheus career in the Pre-52.
  • Yet again, no one on your team has ever used the helmet.

4.) The Fortress of Solitude

  • Can you explain why Cyborg Superman would think to raid the Fortress for the duplicator ray specifically.
  • Why would he think to clone himself with out something prompting him do so?
  • Has he used the duplicator ray before?
  • In addition, the duplicator only replicate organic matter. So essentially you'll end with an incomplete Bizarro even if this was in character.

5.) Green Lantern Rings

  • The Green Lantern Rings can't normally be lent out to people they have to choose their user. Show Cybrog Superman sharing his rings or something that shows that he could do that.
  • The Humanifold works by trasmuting objects into organic matter then bonding it with the user. Aren't GL rings resistant to transmutation
  • I believe that you planned on using the Humanifold (which I have already discussed) to give your team the powers of the Lanterns notably telepathy resistance.
  • But... besides CS lending out his rings being out of character none of your team can use the GL rings effectively. Member what happen to Batman when he tried using a Sinestro Corp ring...
  • On top of this, MMH has TPed Lanterns before. In Blackest Night he made Hal relive his worse moments. Guy Gardner has also been TPed to the point he couldn't form constructs. Why would Lantern noobs do any better against a telepath of similar magnitude.

Look, I'll stop here but as I've shown you have got a lot explaining to do with your prep. A general issue with it that you think that knowing said item exists means that they have experience using the technology and that it would be in character for them to use it. It'd be different if you arguing for them prepping themselves with standard gear or something that they'd use realistically.

Alright, now let's get into the battle itself...

Get Out of Dodge

For some reason you think I avoided the question of technopathy. Let me spell it out for you once again. Spartan blitz Cyborg Superman and drives the Creation Blades into his chest and they render him obsolete just like they did Tao, the man who could remake reality. Forget about Spartan being invisible or not knowing his opponents can teleport, let's just look at the fact that Cyborg Superman cannot even perceive Spartan's attack let alone react to it. You said his technopathy can take effect in seconds right? Spartan blitzed someone who operates within nanoseconds. And nanoseconds are literrally a billionth of the time you claim CS can act in. Tell me, how helpful your technopathy will be when I take you out of the battle before you can use it.

Another thing is that you think your teammates will give off similiar power readings to Cyborg Superman so I won't know who the strike because of the Lantern rings they probably won't have. Let's just say that they have the Lantern rings for the sake of the argument. They wouldn't know how to use them first of all so why would they be as powerful CS. Two, physically CS is the most powerful person you have here. Alice only has the stats of WW and Weather Wizard and Cyborg are less powerful than him. So why wouldn't he stand out as the biggest threat?

But if don't want to accept that premise, let me remind you that Spartan could blitz your entire team before they realized what was happening.

But let's just say you could get your technonopathy attack off. Would that be Cyborg Superman's first move especially when he can't see the enemy right away? Cyborg too for that matter.

Also, I probably should have brought this up earlier. The reason I didn't is becuase wont have a chance to enact to enact your tech attack. But anyways, Spartan has the entity the Void within him. To explain this to people that don't read Wildstorm, Void is could be compared to the likes of Captain Universe. So even if Cyborg or Henshaw could try to tap into Spartan they'd find he isn't just a machine as their is a cosmic entity living inside of him. Good luck with that.

2017 High Tier PYP Rebuttals

Alright first things first, I need to address your prep and the issues with it.

Gimme Ya Ring

The first thing and most important issue with your prep is that alot of the items included in it are not part of your character's arsenal and therefore it would be heavily out of character for them to use them in the way that you have stated unless shown otherwise. If you have feats or examples of these characters using other people items willingly and effectively then let me know and I'll move on from this point.

Unlike my prep, where the tech used by my characters is not only easily accessible, it is standard for the team. They have actual feats using each piece of tech. Whereas your team seems to be reliant on items that it would be out of character from them to use. And so far you have provided no reason to why they would act in this manner especially considering they have no knowledge on who they are fighting and what their powers are. No one on your team is a notable tactician so I'm not seeing where this grandiose scheme is coming from.

The Duplicator Ray...

For example, why would your team have access to the Fortress of Solitude? None of them frequent the Fortress. And its possible that the Fortresses defenses would target them as uninvited guests. And even if they could get into the Fortress, why would they go straight for the duplicate ray especially considering that no one on this team has used or even interacted with said device. That fact itself shows that this would be hella out of character.

The Watchtower...

Ignoring the fact that villians such as Weather Master and Cyborg Superman, would definitely trigger the JL's automated defenses, why would Cyborg think to steal various trinkets from the Watchtower that he has never used before. Especially since Cyborg would only have experience fighting against items used against the JL in the New 52 since he only served in that continuity. He has little to no experience with Pre-52 items such as Prometheus' helmet among other things. Even if he did have experience with these items, why would Cyborg or any of the memebers on his team feel the need to armor themselves with these items. It would be like if I use Xavier to get the Mind Gem in prep. Theoretically, he could do so but... is it in character?

Additionally, Cyborg building his own t-spheres is a stretch. One, Cyborg has absolutely no knowledge on my team or what they will be bringing to the fray. So why would he randomly focus on building t-spheres or countering them.

Another stretch is that Henshaw would use his technopathy to duplicate the tech found in the JL Watchtower especially since he has little to no practical experience with said tech and has not perform anything close to this feat while in character. Not saying he couldn't do it but you have yet to show me that he could.

The Rogue's Hideout

I'm sorry if this feels repetitive but the same case kinda goes for this part of your prep as well. Just because Weather Master has knowledge of his teammates equipment doesn't mean that his first thought will be to armor himself to the T with tech he doesn't use normally. There's a question to if he even has access to equipment like Mirror Masters tech which should be with you know Mirror Master. But more importantly, he has no motivation to suddenly pick up his mates weapon. Nor, does he has the expertise of Mirror Master needed to perform the feats on MM's level. The same goes for the other Rogue weapons.

This case in heavily emphasized as none of the other characters on your team would want to use these weapons. Cyborg Superman, Black Alice, and Cyborg already have their own formidable powersets to bring to the table. Unless they knew how outclassed they were, why would they feel the need to add items they have never used before to their arsenal.

This is espceially true for more obscure items like the Humanifold.

In conclusion, the main problem with your prep is that it is out of character for your team to behave in this manner. I learned this lesson the hard way as it is the only reason I've ever lost a CAV before *Knocks on Wood* In my second CaV against Higorm, I argue that my team of warriors would back off to safety instead of engaging the battle like they normally would. And HiGorM being the expert debater he is pointed out that was hella outta character and that there was no reason for my team to behave in that way. And I believe that you have made the same mistake. Your team has no idea what's coming so they can't prep to specifically counter my team ( Cyborg and the t-spheres prep agrument for example) and they definitely don't have a reason to go out of the their way to use other peoples equipment.

But.... there's another hole in your prep.

Time Out.

How do you expect your team to come up with a scheme like this and collect the materials for such a plan in an hour? Setting aside the fact that it would be out of character to do so, there isn't any master strategists or prep-gods on your team like there are on mine. Nor do they have the mindscape to make the most of their prep time. So how would they come up with a plan to gather various trinkets from around the DCU especially the obscure or protected ones, and then actually executing it in a hour?

But enough about Prep...

The Terminator and Mr. Robot.

This section deals with counter specifically to Cyborg Superman and Cyborg.

First, lets deal with the elephant in the room... Hank Henshaw.

So as I stated in the post before...

Spartan who has rendered himself invisible, is poised to neutralize the highest priority target once the battle starts as it is best way to achieve victory. He has been described as having one goal: victory at any price. Once he has a battleplan he will exxecute with mathematical precision.

Given that even before his Void upgrade he could sense power levels like so, he will identify Cyborg Superman as the most powerful person here. Given that I have shown Spartan can scan entire cities for bio-signatures, and other things...

Here I'll just repost it here...

With his enhanced senses,Marlowe was able to scan cities for specific individuals before the amp, and with the Void and other upgrades courtesy of Lord Emp he can now scan the entire Earth using scoped active scans, bio-trace, and satellite imaging etc...

Just to emphasize my point, Spartan was able to smell someone's location from space... Can scan their hearbeat from space... (First and second scan repeated)

Now for some reason, you believe that Cyborg can make his teammates invisible to tech like Mr. T even tho

  • He has never done so before and has reason to even attempt now (Outta Character)
  • Doesn't know my team's capailities and has no reason to even think of such a strategy

Heck the last scan explains that with combination of his senses the only place he could see into was Majestic's base. So even if you had illusions or were hidden Spartan would find you.

So now that I've proven, that Spartan will definitely track down Henshaw... I'll reiterate the point made earlier.

Spartan identifies the Cyborg as the prime threat...

He teleports blitz him. I'll reexplain the feat to give you more clarity.

But he can also simply use teleportation to blitz his opponents...

The only way Majestic could get around the tactic was through his hypersense detecting particle variance which only gave him a nanoseconds worth of warning...

What this means is that Henshaw and the rest of your characters will need ALL of the following to react to the attack.

  • The ability to sense particle variance
  • The knowledge to interpret that as teleportation
  • The speed to do all of this in a second.

Now add in the fact that Spartan is invisible (to visuals and to tech) and your team will be preocupied with Spartan's Army of sentries and its safe to say Henshaw will get blitzed.

Now lets take the fact Tao who could remake reality was rendered inert by the creation blades as shown in the mini post it is safe to say Henshaw is out of the fight.

Sidenote: Member how you said my team doesn't have transumutation resistance. Spartan is literally resisting reality warping here so...

This is all that is needed to remove Cyborg Superman from the table. But additionally...

  • Spartan, if he feels necessary, can teleport Cyborg Superman away to the middle of the Boomspheres which prevents the possibility of a rescue. The swords need to be removed for Henshaw to be able to regain his bearings (if he can recover before the battle is over that is) and anyone that gets close to the broken Cyborg will be teleported apart...
  • Xavier can attempt to TP Cyborg Superman as he has incapped a Sentinel with a mind blast and has breached psionic defenses of planetary telepaths and has fought entities like the Dark Phoenix (with help still impressive none the less) before. (Can provide feats if necessary)
  • Keep in mind that this is just the cherry on top and isn't necessary to keep Henshaw down.

Now onto the Mr. Robot here...

The TP argument that stated before extends to Cyborg especially since he doesn't have psionic shielding that Cyborg Superman has. Due to the outta character nature of your prep, there will be no trinkets bolstering your TP defense. So like I said before, he could TPed in a variety of flavors. But lets just say you get slept.

Now your main argument is that Cyborg will use technopathy to shut down our teams tech. (provided he can do so before getting slept. Keep in mind it took him a significant amount of effort and time to hack in the Motherbox tech so this won't be easy). Here's why it won't work even if he gets the chance to attempt.

  • One everyone is invisible to technology. Guess who's made of tech. Now guess what that means.
  • Spartan can simply blitz and one-shot Cyborg. He can teledisect you or simply recycle you with his Majestic level planet tosser stength.
  • Remember how I said, Mr. T is linked into his tech. Now member that Xavier has mind link up. Cyborg hacking into t-spheres may jsut give Xaiver to backdoor to TP him.

I believe that's all that needs to be said about the bots for now.

The Weather Man and the Witch

Let's start with the Weather Master...

  • He gets slept or TPed by Xavier.
  • Or Spartan teleports up him one-shots him like he could do to Cyborg. Additionally he could atomize him. Or he could simply punch him. Your choice.
  • Drowns in a river of sentries, t-spheres, and Boomspheres...

His power is negated as Spartan is far too durable for any of his attacks to do anything but piss him off never mind the fact WM can't even see or react to him.

Now onto the bigger challenge...

  • She has stolen the powers of Wonder Woman yet she is still heavily outclasses by Spartan himself. He's faster, more skilled, more powerful more durable, can telediscet her, open a portal to the Nth Space on her...
  • She can still get slept.
  • Or taken out by t-spheres like Captain Nazi was.

Stick to the Script

Overall, the biggest problem with the way you presented your team is that it isn't in character for them to do most of the things you said they would do. Add the lack of info and a hour time limit and that's invalidates a significant part of your post.

Which means that the telepathy probing for your location, your weakness, or simply TPing you is still an option.

Additionally, you haven't explained how your team would even know of Team Bravo considering that they are hidden away, and invisible in multiple ways. And how they'd even manage to do this while dealing with Spartan and Team A.

Nor have you shown that your team could see or even perceive Spartan since he is also invisible and can blitz people who operate in nanoseconds. Then there's the body switching aspect of the character in addition to his Majestic level stats and his Void Powers that makes him one of the most dangerous beings in this tourney.

The way I see it, my team has you stuck on defense with no chance of actually detecting them or let alone dealing any damage to them.

Nanoseconds or less, into the battle your key member is rendered obsolete. And the rest of your team is left vulnerable with no way of actually defending themselves. If Spartan wanted to end the battle within nanoseconds he could since he can blitz and one shot everyone here...

Checkmate Part II

I would say that nothing has really changed from my first summary of the battle. Just that your prep seems to be a stretch that even Mr. Fantastic would be proud of.

To answer the question ,"who is Spartan?" would be quite the feat to say the least. Born as Yohn Kohl, he originally served as a Kherubim lord during the Daemonite-Kheran War and the model for the Spartan androids used to police planet Khera. Eventaully, this war left a set of Kherans and Daemonites stranded on Earth where they countinued battling for the years to come. Along the way, Yohn Kohl became John Colt, adventurer and renowned hero. Joining the superhero squad, Team 1 he sacrificed his life stopping the Daemonites from launching a warhead. Fortunately, Lord Emp was able to transfer his conscious to a Spartan android. With his memories of being Yohn Kohl locked away, Spartan was born and he continued the war against the Daemonites as a part of the WildCATs. Things would remain that way until the death of Lord Emp who passed on his vision for the world to Spartan. Realizing that the superhero lifestyle wasn't an efficient means to meet Emp's wishes for a better world, Spartan took the identity of Jack Marlowe and decided to use the Halo Corporation to improve the world. Using his the advanced technologies of Khera to his advantage, he assembled a new team of WildCATs to build upon the foundation Lord Emp left.

Enter The Void

Being an android of Kheran design, Spartan is endowed with superhuman abilities such as:

  • Superhuman strength
  • Energy Projection
  • Flight
  • Invisibility
  • Superhuman Durability
  • Computer-Like Mind
  • The Ability to transfer conscious between the Spartan androids
  • Enhanced Senses

==========================================================================

After merging with the Void, Jack Marlowe found that all the abilities he had as Spartan had been augmented and that he gained the ability to teleport both himself and others.

And Marlowe can use this ability to devastating effect when in combat.

In the past, Marlowe has used his ability to teleport things to dismember his opponents or simply BFR them to the Otherspace. (Wildcats 1999 Issue 26)

But he can also simply use teleportation to blitz his opponents...

The only way Majestic could get around the tactic was through his hypersense detecting particle variance which only gave him a nanoseconds worth of warning...

==========================================================================

To give a frame of reference, Marlowe now had the strength to go blow-for-blow with Mr.Majestic as shown below. (Majestic 6)

Keep in mind, that Mr. Majestic has been called a planet-tosser and has the feats to back it up.

==========================================================================

Likewise, his energy projection had been augmented as well.

Even without the Void, Spartan was able to stun Majestic with energy attacks( sonic) on mutliple occasions

However with Void, Jack Marlowe could send Majestros flying back in pain.

His forcefields had even grown strong enough to temporarily hold off the assualt of Tao, who at the time was a reality warper who took on Wildstorm's Earth and won.) WildCats 2008 Issue 15

==========================================================================

Likewise, his reaction speed has been boosted into MFTL territory as shown by the scans below.

Explanation: The Spartan sentries that Marlowe controls notice an object zooming by at near-superluminal speeds in Big Sur, California and Marlowe is able to port up to object before those sentries can even get off the ground and he was in Houston...

In other words, the Spartan sentries themselves have lightspeed reactions/perceptions but Marlowe was able to catch up to the lightspeed object before those same sentries could even get off the ground.... And he was across the country. He then proceeds to take the object down with ease...

==========================================================================

With his enhanced senses,Marlowe was able to scan cities for specific individuals before the amp, and with the Void and other upgrades courtesy of Lord Emp he can now scan the entire Earth using scoped active scans, bio-trace, and satellite imaging

==========================================================================

Additionally, Spartan sentries can repair themselves to an extent. I'll leave a minor example here...

==========================================================================

Also Spartan is able to analyze his environment and calculate the most probable event to occur and also the best course of action to take.

Michael Holt, the third smartest man on the planet.
Michael Holt, the third smartest man on the planet.

Introduction:

Scientist. Inventor. Superhero. Third smartest man on the planet. When it comes to Michael Holt, terrific is an understatement. Successor to the first Mister Terrific, Terry Sloane, Holt has carried on his legacy as he lead the Justice League of America and Checkmate exemplifing Sloane's motto of "Fair Play". In the New 52, he has continued being the genius superhero we all know and love. Most notably, he played a vital role in the second invasion of Earth 2 by Apokalips. Following the path that Sloane paved, Holt's uses science as a weapon as his T-mask and his T-spheres make him force to be reckoned with. But his deadliest weapon is sits right behind his mask...

Pity the Fool:

Since Mr.T is the brain of the group I'll start with his intelligence...

To start off, his T-spheres are controlled telepathically (Keep this in mind as it will come in handy later in the debate)

One of the most basic uses of the T-spheres is to provide an extra set of eyes for Mr.T to look through... Using this he perceive the battle through multiple perspectives without having put himself in the line of fire. In addition it can cross reference locations. The link also shows that he can use to the T-spheres to communicate with his teammates. His creatively named t-mash has thermal and can provide info on what he is looking at. Lastly, the t-spheres can track energy signs and he can see the entire electronic spectrum. And then there's this alert system. His sensors can pick up people breathing nearby so...

But enough about his vision, let's around to how takes away yours. First, off Mr. T is notable for being invisible to all technology. Not only this he can extended this field like he did to Hawkman and some drones. Just be sure he's invisible to all forms of electronic surveillance. Then on top of this he can use holograms to make things invisible via holograms. He can also create holograms for illusionary affect they are so effective even fooled the likes of Gorilla Grodd. Lastly, he can hack your tech as shown here.

Alright, here's were the Terrific part come in. His T-spheres are powerful to take down Captain Nazi.

And he will also be bringing the Boomspheres to the table. These are special T-spheres based on a corrupted Boom tube design. They work by well take it Mr.Terrific.

They are powerful enough to destroy the force field that held Darkseid. In his own word they freed him from that force field. Emphasize the power of these things, if you are caught in this vortex you will be teledismember as each part of your being is teleported away from each other.

They can absorb energy like they did with Darkseid's Omega Beams.

Just FYI, Holt as perfected the science of pulling things from other dimension or lensing. He even has HQ in the 9th dimension. Its called the T-sanctuary.

And this is just the tip of the iceberg...

The X-Factor

Any dream worth having is a dream worth fighting for.
Any dream worth having is a dream worth fighting for.

Regarded as one of the most powerful telepaths and mutants on the planet, Professor X is living testament to the power of the mind. Fathering the X-men, Charles Xavier has served as savior for not just mutantkind but the entirety of the human race. But you already know that...

Mind Playing Tricks On Me.

To give an analogy, if telepathy were boxing then Professor X would be Muhammad Ali. To put things simply, he is the greatest.

The range of his telepathy is enough for him access the mind and emotions of the entire planet. He even has feats of battling enitities of the astral plane and reaching his teammates from half a star system away.

With the power of his mind, he can create a mindlink between his teammates and himself, and even perform feats like giving his team months worth of training in mere hours which will come in handy here.

But offensively, he can do things like knocking out Rachel Summers, Phoenix 5 Namor, Thor, and various X-Men with a hand gesture. (Thanks Chimeroid) (Read Manga Style)

Then there's things like him using Magneto's power telepathically hacking him

And this among other things like being able to wipe peoples memory and creating mental illusions, but this should suffice for now.

So What's the Scenario?

The Hour of Prep.

Well let's start with my perks, the first being the hour of prep anywhere. The first order of business while be to have Xavier take Spartan and Mr. Terrific into his mind so that they can get acquainted with each other, their role in the team, and the overall gameplan. Seeing as how Xavier gave his team hours worth of training in a few hours, it shouldn't take long for the team to mentally prepare themselves.

With Michael Holt being Mr. Checkmate himself and the third smartest man on the planet, Charles having led the X-Men for decades, and Spartan being a Kheran soldier with mind of supercomputer, coming up with a strategy should be piece of cake. Tactically, it would make sense to minimize the enemy's effectiveness while maximizing their own.

With that all of that being said, its clear an emphasis will be placed on keeping both Xavier and Holt out of harms way while still allowing them contribute to the cause. Since Xavier range covers the entire battlefield and then some he can as effective across the planet as he is right in front of you. Likewise, Mr. Terrific can operate his t-spheres from afar as his tech is controlled through thought waves which Xavier can boost with his telepathic range. (Though having X do this is not necessary).

Mr. Terrific can extend his invisibility to technology, to his teammates as demonstrated earlier. In addition, he can use holograms to make himself and X invisible period. And Spartan can make himself invisible in his own right.

To make matters worse, Charles can create illusions in our opponents minds while Mr.T create holograms that have even fooled telepaths like Ultra-Humanite before to litter the battlefield.

Using X's mindlink and Mr. T's tech, the duo will be removed from direct harm yet have communication with Spartan and eyes on the field as Mr.T's spheres can function as an eye in the sky.

Next, Mr.T and Spartan call in their tech respectively. For Terrific, that means a multitude of t-spheres and his Boomspheres. For Spartan, this means his other Spartan sentries. Since both characters can teleport, things between dimensions ( Spartan's Void powers and Mr. T's lensing) this should be a walk in park.

Assigning some of the t-spheres to Spartan's person and some to Mr. T and X. This is so Mr. T can help assist Spartan's assualt while analyzing the situation. I would assign some Spartan sentries to Mr.T's position but since Spartan can teleport himself to them or the team to him it'd be redundant.

In a similiar manner, Mr. T will assign three boomspheres to his section of the team. Using the holograms and telepathic illusions they too will be rendered undetechable. This is to redirect any attack away from the team should they be discovered and to teledisect anyone who tries to get to close.

An additional three boomspheres will be assigned to Spartan's entourage.

================================================================================

Outcome of Prep (TL;DR)

The outcome is that by the end of the hour, Xavier and Mr. T are out of sight and are invisible to the enemy and their tech. X is in a position where he can probe the enemy for info on themselves, he could sleep them, mind control, create illusions etc...Meanwhile, Mr. T can protect himself and X with the t-spheres and BOOMspheres assigned to their person. At the same time, he can help out Spartan by adding to his entourage and analyzing the enemy.

The main body Spartan (who I will try to refer to as Jack Marlowe or Spartan Prime from now on) will be cloaked from tech thanks to Mr. T, and will be invisible due to his dampening field. He will posed to strike undetechable with the creation blades while an army of t-spheres, boomspheres, and sentries. If somehow, Jack Marlowe is compromised, he can bodyswap with one of his sentries and be good as new.

================================================================================

Plan A

Alright, now that Prep is explained, lets talk about what will happen once the battle start. Since Mr. T and Spartan sense energy, the Lantern rings will give away that Cyborg Superman is the powerhouse of the team. Logically, the most effective move to cripple your team is to have Spartan Prime teleport behind Henshaw drive the Creation Blades into his torso incapicating him thus taking a key member of your team. Since Spartan this blitz only gives a nanoseconds warning and you have to be able to sense the particles changing where Spartan will appear to see it coming, it is safe to say that Henshaw while caught off gaurd. Just as Tao ( the reality warper) was, Henshaw will find that he is powerless and barely able to talk at that point. Worse, X could try to mind control Henshaw and sick him on his teammates but this isn't neccessary.

Meanwhile, Xavier can sleep Alice, Weather Wizard, and Cyborg before they can do anything that way violence can avoided and the battle is over within moments otherwise things will get ugly. Lets just say that any one that doesn't sleep gets diced, teledisected by Spartan, teleported into the range of the BOOMspheres and teledisected, or simply beaten to a pulp by the man how went toe to toe with a planet tosser and won. Or taken down with blasts from the t-spheres that already put down high tiers like Captain Nazi who could go toe to toe with the likes of Shazam specifically. Or a number of other things. I'll wait for how you deal with the initial blitz to go into specifics.

Keep in mind that Spartan can entire cities for people and Charles will probe you if you try to hide. And that Spartan can calculate the most probable event to happen based on the information he has been given. Considering that Mr.T and X will be feeding info into him, it will be like we know your next move.

Checkmate

  • Xavier kicks things off by taking the team into the mindscape to get acquanted with each other, their roles, and the gameplan.
  • My team will be separated into two components. Team Bravo (Mr.T and Prof X) will be removed the front lines while still remaining as supports to Team A (Jack Marlowe and his Spartan sentries). They will be mindlinked and have Mr. T tech to communicate.
  • Having been relocated to across the globe and rendered invisible to the enemy and their tech, Team A will be virtually undetectable.
  • Because of this, Xavier can telepathically assualt your team in a variety of ways, while Mr.T assist Team A by operating the t-spheres that are assigned to the front line.
  • One benefit is that Xavier can probe your team for info such as weaknesses, strengthes, their location etc...
  • Or he could simply sleep/mindcontrol them immediately.
  • Mr. T while use his t-spheres as eyes in the sky giving Team B a view of the battle.
  • At the same time he can use his t-spheres to add his power to Team A. The t-spheres have taken high tiers on their own. And the BOOM tubes can redirect energy attacks to create a vortex of destruction and teledisect opponents.
  • Team B can also create illusions such as Mr. T's hardlight holographs that have even fooled telepaths to help disorient the enemy.
  • Spartan Prime (Jack Marlowe) will have rendered himself invisible and will have the Creation Blades ready to strike with his entourage of Spartan sentries, t-spheres, and BOOMspheres.
  • At the start of the battle, Team A engages the enemy. Since Mr. T and Spartan can sense energy they will identify Cyborg Superman as the prime threat.
  • Spartan Prime teleports behind Cyborg Superman driving the blades into him disabling him and taking out a key member of your team as the blades imbedded in him leave him powerless.
  • The rest of team is taken out via TP or Team A's assualt.
  • Because of Team B's info gathering and Spartan supercomputer brain its almost like your minds an open book. I'm glad were on the same page.
  • I'll go into more specifics as the debate goes on...

Low Tier Post (WIP)

Mrs. Miracle and Mr Terrific

For this tourney, I will be representing Big Barda and Mr. Terrific. Seeing how this is my first post, it will mostly be an introduction to my team and their capabilities. A more specific guide can be found below.

  1. The Notorious B.I.G- Introduction to Big Barda

  2. Fairplay

But without further ado here's my first post

The Notorious B.I.G.

Big Barda, the Finest Female Fury
Big Barda, the Finest Female Fury

Introduction:

Originally one of Darkseid's Female Furies, Big Barda has trained since childhood to become one of the greatest of Darkseid's elite. Eventually, she managed to become the only one to tie Scott Free down. Since then she has fought for the glory of New Genesis and all that is good. Even serving terms with the Justice League of America and the Birds of Prey. She was last seen helping Mister Miracle and the Justice League with fending off the forces of Anti-Monitor and Darkseid. She specializes in hand-to-hand combat and is often said to rival Wonder Woman is overall skill and power as she is trained in all forms of Apokaliptian warfare. She is known to carry her infamous Mega-Rod which is mostly known for its concussive bolts. These bolts are capable incapacitating other New Gods and even the Man of Steel himself. And she can often be seen gliding around aero-disks which are portals to other dimensions that allow the user to fly. But what makes her standout from the rest of her Female Furies is her prowess and power in battle.

The Female Fury:

Barda own her own is strong enough to hold her own with Wonder Woman even being held back by Amazon battle rules. In her own words, she would have won if she wouldn't have lost her Mega Rod and if the Amazons went all out while sparring. Impressive showing of skill and power nonetheless.

She is strong enough to effortlessly restrain Guy Gardner. And she can tank the weight of a continent on her

Her Mega-Rod can take down other New Gods and even Superman.

  1. In the first scan Barda one shots Steppenwolf with the Megarod.
  2. A couple full on blasts from the Mega Rod crippled the Man of Steel.

Her Mega Rod even had enough punch to be the final blow to knock a Sundipped Superman off balance.

Well... How dipped was he? (He breezed through the League. Destroying Kyle's constructs which have contained Ultraman, planetary level blasts, supernovas etc like they were made out of soggy pieces of cardboard, apparently immune to kryptonite, flicks Diana aside, overpowers MMH's tp and so on)

She can also deflect energy attacks like she did against Grail's Omega Beams here. This is important because this very attack oneshotted Earth 3's Superwoman and Wonder Woman's bracelets which stood up against Darkseid.

There's more were this came from but this should suffice for an intro to the finest of the female furies.

But what's a New God without the...

The Mommabox

"PING !PING! PING!"

Introduction:

The Motherbox is as deadly as Big Barda herself. This masterpiece of sentient technology allows its wielder to open interdimesional BOOM tubes, redirect energies, protect against disintegration at an atomic level, heal fatal wounds and even alter appearances and more. All of which will not only come in handy later, but will ultimately secure victory for our team. This little box can do just about anything

BOOM!:

The Motherbox can do almost anything. But to be more specific...

Motherboxes are sentient supercomputers invented by Himon of Apokalips that allow New Gods like Orion to do the following...

  • Open interdimensional gateways otherwise known as BOOMtubes.
  • Alter Appearances
  • Heal themselves or allies
  • Reassemble the molecular structure of the user
  • Boost durability
  • Redirect energy
  • Wipe memories
  • Control the weather
  • A lot of other random, yet awesome things. For example placing mental barriers to protect Superman

One of these awesome abilities is the ability of... Well just knowing stuff.

Often times the Motherbox will just know that danger is imminent likely due to their connection to Source.

Take this instance for example. The Motherbox notified that New God's allies were in trouble even though they were dimension away.

Or this instance. The Fatherbox the Apokaliptian equilvalent to a Motherbox senses trap being sprung.

In general, Motherboxes have omni-knowledge according to the Green Lantern database

There's more instances of this, but this ability should help defend against any surprises.

Speaking of surprises...

The World's End

Since SFW is allowing summons Barda being an elite in Darkseid's forces often leads forces into battle. To keep things fair my summons will be Darkseid's goombas.

First off there's the most known force of Apokalips the dreaded Parademons...

To keep things short, I'll introduce them with one of their more impressive feats

From Left to Right (Manga Style)

The Parademons take down the entire Green Lantern Corp converting the fallen to Parademons themselves....

But Barda has more to bring to the table. During her stint on Earth she lead Desaads new and improved Protodemons which speak for themselves (Manga Style)

  • Big Barda takes the Protodemon for a test... A full on hit and its still standing.
  • Overwhelm Powergirl

Nough said. One thing to keep note of is that each Parademon has its own Motherbox as shown in during First Apokaliptian invasion on Earth-0.

Fairplay

What's the Scenario?

To put things simply, this is very much a brain and brawn team. Big Barda's role is to lay the pipe. She is a warrior who brings the power of a god to the table. But at the same time she offers versatility with her Motherbox. On the other hand, Holt being the genius brings all types hax with the tech he has at his disposal. As Fury once said, he uses technology to make a god out of a man. (Or something like that.)

During the week of training, is where Holt will shine the most for this very reason. In the Post-Flashpoint universe, Holt has his HQ in the ninth dimension and has perfected the science of lensing ,which allows him to pull things from different dimensions (Repeated just for emphasis). Add interdimensional travel (from both Mr.T and the Mother Box) to this combination and you have a team thheat pull resources from Holt's own collection and the Fourth World. Because of this, Terrific will have access to the following tech and more...

  • A multitude of T-spheres. He even demonstrates that he can pull them from another dimension if need be.

  • His Boomspheres.

  • His T-mask that makes him invisible to technology, allows him to interface with tech, and provides info on the things around him.

  • Aero-Discs either of his own design or from the Fourth World

  • Parademons and Protodemons. Who will be armed with Apokaliptian weoponry and their own Motherboxes... (I've shown what they are capable of so I'll leave it at that)
  • An exosuit. Mr. Terrific built one for Dick Grayson.

  • There's more but once again this is an intro so cut the prep details short....

Now its time show why Mr.Terrific's the leader of Checkmate... For one Mr.T's is the third most intelligent man on Earth. When it comes to strategy there are chess masters and people who can keep track of both sides of the board. While blindfolded. With the Omni-Knowledge of the Motherbox and the intel provided by his own tech he analyze his opponents to make a battle plan.

Going into battle he will have his T-spheres spread across the battlefield providing eyes everywhere and allowing him to attack from anywhere. As shown earlier, his t-spheres can sense people breathing, Mr.T has thermal and he can read energy sigs so it is nearly impossible for your to remain undetected. Then there's Motherboxes Omni-Knowlegde.

He will assign a set of Boomspheres to himself and to Barda. While Barda calls for the Parademons and Protodemons to boomtube into battle, Mr.T will use his holograms to make himself invisible and use hardlight projections and additional holograms to generate illusions of himself and Barda across the battlefield. Keep in mind these illusions fooled a notable telepath Gorilla Grodd. He will also extended his invisibility to Barda and the Boomspheres.

Afterwards, Mr.T will begin analyzing the battlefield... Communicating with Barda's Motherbox and using the info provided by his T-mask, he will gather the data needed to devise a strategy for victory.

Nagato

Seeing as how Nagato is the powerhouse of your team, Barda will drawn towards fighting him. (The way we know he is the powerwise is because of the damage output he will show when fighting the parademons and hardlight projections, the T-mask can read energy levels and clock in how fast he is moving all of which will give his role away. Given that Barda has enough firepower to putdown Superman, the t-spheres (which are around the battlefield already) can put down Captain Nazi (someone on Captain Marvel's level), and the BOOMspheres (which are accompanying Barda) which can teleport body away piece by piece, I'd say he is trouble.

Ultimate Kitty Pryde

Since Kitty is acting as your fall back defense, she will draw attention to herself given Mr.T the opportunity to analyze her. Given that Mr. T has fought density shifter akin to Kitty Pryde and figured his power out in midbattle, he should be able to trap her in force field just he did to him. This should take her out of the battle. From there he could take her out completely should she choose to use her hardened form but nevertheless she is out of the fight at very least temporalily which is all we need. This is if the Parademons and the Protodemons haven't taken her out already.

Black Panther

Black Panther will be perceived as your team's main source of tech. BP can't detect Mr.T (at all), he can't detect Big Barda and the Boomspheres via tech so he is already at a disadvantage. If he tries to hack anything it will end badly considering what happened the last time he tried to hack someone whose mind was linked into their tech. If his suit is disabled like that then he will fail pray to the Protodemons or the T-spheres.

There are other ways to take him out effeciently but this should be enough for now...

Storm

To be honest, Storm is screwed here. She while be surrounded by Protodemons and Parademons who have overwhelmed Powergirl and Green Lantern respectively. If she tries to strike Barda or Mr. T ( if he is somehow exposed) then the Boomsphere's will simply absorb the lightning like it did against Darkseid's Omega Beams. The Motherbox can also redirect energies as well. Then if she manages to piss off Barda then there's nothing stopping her from getting bullrushed like Steppenwolf and Kalibak were.

Yankee Ingenuity

Even if things don't go exactly as planned, Mr. T has Yankee Ingenuity. Simply put he can think apply plans like this on the spot in midbattle which means we can adapt at any time. In the scan linked above, he magnetizes an Iron Man rip off on the fly. Big Barda, is a trained warrior whose skill rivals Wonder Woman. She too will be prepared to adapt and do whatever is necessary to win here.

If Barda is injured, the Motherbox can simply heal her so she can keep wrecking havoc on your team. Likewise, the t-spheres will come to her aid if needed. Having the Boomsphere surround Barda and Mr. Terrific essentially means your team cannot come close to our team with out being teleported apart and any attacks will just fuel the vortex of destruction.

There's also the BFR option but I won't into that unless needed.

Checkmate

  • Due to Mr.T's tech he will be rendered untectable and Barda and the Boomspheres will be invisible to tech.
  • The Parademons and the Protodemons who have overwhelmed people like Green Lantern and Power Girl will do the same to your team.
  • Because of the Mega Rod and the Boomspheres as well as normal T-spheres, my team can easily outdamage your team.
  • The Boomspheres are an example of the best defense being offense. Since they teleport any thing in their way to pieces and can redirect energy attacks you are really limited on how you can do damage to us.
  • Because the Motherbox can heal its user and its allies the damage you do if any can be reversed.
  • Becuase of the t-spheres Mr. T has eyes everywhere. We have thermal, sound detection, energy sigs, you name it.
  • Then the Motherbox has Omni-Knowledge as well.
  • Mr.T has already faced his universes Kitty Pryde and trapped him in forcefield after figuring out his powers within battle.
  • If Black Panther tries to hack it will backfire horribly...
  • Storm's lightning will be redirected into the Boomspheres and she will be overwhelmed by parademons.
  • Nagato is heavily outclassed by Barda. Add the Boomspheres and he in for a world of Pain. :)
  • You said your team outnumbers mine 9-2 but in with the summons and the t-spheres. It's more like hundreds of combantants that each pose viable threat to your team versus nine people. Nevermind the fact that I can keep summoning t-spheres and parademons.
  • As Mr.Terrific would say Checkmate...

CAV Template: Spartan/Jack Marlowe

The Spartan

"This world is what it is. To simply classify it is an useless endeavor. But to change it... that is the appropriate endeavor"

Being an android of Kheran design, Spartan is endowed with superhuman abilities like:

  • Superhuman strength
  • Energy Projection
  • Flight
  • Invisibility
  • Superhuman Durability
  • Computer-Like Mind
  • The Ability to transfer conscious between the Spartan androids
  • Enhanced Senses

Enter The Void

Being a combat android of Kheran design, Spartan is endowed with superhuman abilities like: superhuman strength, energy projection, flight, invisibility, superhuman durability, computer-like mind, the ability to transfer his conscious between Spartan androids, enhanced senses and more...

But after Noir's betrayal left Void in a critical state, Marlowe found himself as the new host for the entity. After merging with the Void, Jack Marlowe found that all the abilities he had as Spartan had been augmented and that he gained the ability to teleport both himself and others.

To give a frame of reference, Marlowe now had the power to go blow-for-blow with Mr.Majestic as shown below. (Majestic 6)

Keep in mind, that Mr. Majestic has been called a planet-tosser and has the feats to back it up.

Likewise, his energy projection had been augmented as well.

Even without the Void, Spartan was able to stun Majestic with energy attacks( sonic) on mutliple occasions

However with Void, Jack Marlowe could send Majestros flying back in pain.

Reaction Speed

(Explanation: The Spartan sentries that Marlow controls notice an object zooming by at near-superluminal speeds and Marlowe is able to port up to object before those sentries can even get off the ground. )

  • Third-Party teleportation on top of the enemy
  • Set Up Forcefields/ Engage with energy based attacks
  • Turn invisible via dampening field
  • BFR: Into the Otherspace
  • Telefragging

If Marlowe has access to multiple Spartan androids

  • Teleport Blitz with Androids assisting
  • Sit back and let the androids soften 'em up
  • Transfer Conscious between bodies
