It is against federal law for federal funds to be used to provide abortions. The money Planned Parenthood received from the federal government does not go to abortion provision and that is carefully audited. Abortions make up 3% of the medical services provide by Planned Parenthood and the money spent on them comes from private donations - not government funding.
