If she's replacing Cho then I'm in for this

Just like Cho didn't replace Banner, Walters isn't replacing Cho. There are like 5 Spider-Woman, I think we can handle two different kinds of Hulks.

@owie: As long as this is just a phase in her life, and something she can overcome, then I'm all for this run. The first issue was quite good.

@phillip33: While I personally enjoyed the variety those other personalities brought, I think last issue brought an end to all but Marc Spector

I was about to drop the series, and then the last issue put an end to the schizophrenia. While the idea of shifting between such disparate characters was cool, I think that idea could have been executed in 2 issues as opposed to the 4 it took. Still, I'm looking forward to this series moving in a more solid direction.

Will she be hitting Clint or Carol with a wrongful death lawsuit or just give them a pass on the murder?

Well they gave Carol a reward for (Spoiler for CW #8)

putting Tony Stark in a coma. Beast says he actually would have died if it wasn't for the self experimenting

Just read Hulk #1 and I thought it was a great start. The mood isn't totally dour, but it does feel fairly solemn. Of course she isn't her usual confident self, but it is interesting to see a story about Jennifer Walters the person. Without her green courage.

Those preview pages probably weren't the best in terms of the art and tone. That stressed face and overall dark color palette made it seem like it was gonna be a more depressing book overall. Though, the darkness does lurk! Which I was pleasantly surprised by, I didn't think we would get much "super hero" type elements in this run. So good so far, I eagerly await more.

@donmeca2020: So I compare a series and a collection of series, whose decisions are ultimately decided by one company, but because you don't like the decisions made by one of the sides, you say my comparison is invalid? It's more like I compared a Gala apple to a Fuji apple, but because you don't the taste of Fuji apples, then my comparison is flawed.

@slimebeherit: that's incorrect, those are merely the stand in characters impersonating the originals UNTIL marvel decides to bring them back.

I don't consider them hulk and wolverine. I also know a ton of other collectors that feel the same way.

I don't like Star Wars episode 1-3 but that doesn't mean they aren't part of the rest of Star Wars. I can choose not to think about them, but I can't say they aren't a part of the series.

when they say hulk and wolverine, they mean amadeous and laura.... not bruce and logan. ughhhh marvel needs to hurry and get things back on the roll again.

I think they mean the current Hulk and Wolverine. It's not hard to remember that Bruce and Logan are "dead".

No wanting to be rude... You probably don't know much of the characters that you are talking about, i mean not even the more basic personality/identity...

So, just because Aaron standards in terms of characterization & canon continuity are as low as you can get, doesn't mean you should level the arguments with that standards...

For who knows just a bit of Sif, knows she never would want to be Thor independently if she was worthy of the hammer (she obviously is), neither any other Asgardian (male/female) would want to be Thor, (its someone else) it would be the contrary of their culture/beliefs...

And you also are wrong in the interpretation of Jane as Female Thor, yes what Marvel/Aaron always wanted was a female version of Thor and Jane was/is just the host to achieve that goal... Her Asgardian speech & behavior in some situations are just nonsense and the prove of what i am saying. You just can't reduce Jane character to a disease and the refuse to heal it with magic (besides the magical hammer part lol), when if wasn't for Sif life force (in the past) Jane would already be dead, then where is what was build with Jane during the all canon? HER SON? So this was and is only about the female version of Thor (even the looks confirm that)... That Sif could care less about, because she is SIF and NOT Thor... Get it?

I understand that the new readers can not have the same perceptions that Thor title more established readers have, but i don't think that is fair just pretend that Thor world/characters were created after that whisper...

That's fair. I don't know much about the series. I retract my statements.

The fact that Lady Sif is a strong-willed female Asgardian who's fought alongside Thor and proved herself in battle numerous times in general makes her a fantastic candidate for a character with a deep background that could easily be seen as a successor/temp replacement for Thor.

I would wager there would be far less complaints had she taken over.

In addition she also has a romantic history with Thor, adding that dynamic as well.

But yeah, that being said... I do agree with you that the current Thor mini is a great read.

The Thor series that preceded Jane taking over, however, was of epic proportions.

Sounds she would have been a great Thor. Though I do think the obvious choice isn't always the best choice. I like the idea that the person that did end up picking up Mjolnir is an outsider, and therefore is a disruptive force in Asgard. There's also the condition that Jane is currently in, and having that drastic transformation, going from someone so frail to someone so powerful. I think theres more u can do with Jane, but I do agree that people would have welcomed Sif with more open arms.
