Can the Avengers have a good book?

No Caption Provided

So far this one is good, it just needs to keep it up.

I can't imagine fans would prefer to read about her rather than Clint.

Well yes, technically you are correct. If you are a bigger fan of a certain character in comparison to another, then you would rather read about that character than that other character...but that isn't saying much is it.

Kate and Clint have had relationship since Kate's inception, so I'm sure if you have been reading books with Clint, then you have gotten to know Kate, and potentially like her as a character. So it's not about which you would rather read, but wether you have in Kate at all. Plus it's not like you can't do both, if your a massive Clint fan, theres nothing stopping you from collecting both Occupy Avengers and this Hawkeye series.

Looks like yet another girly-book from the House of Ideas...

I know right? Whose bright idea was it to try to sell books to the other half of the worlds population.

@looneymoonie: There's also Moon Girl, Silk and Mockingbird (if it's still a thing). Really, the only serious one is BW.

A couple other female lead books with a more serious tone are: Gamora, Invincible Iron-Man, Hulk, Jessica Jones, Scarlet Witch, and All-New Wolverine.

@slimebeherit: Moon Girl should be cancelled it make no sense why it's still ongoing when it fails to ship 9000 issues a month. Most books are canned if they can't ship 16 000.

As for this book it will not last long but could be fun. The art looks nice story seems upbeat.

Im well aware of the single issue sales, but my point still stands. A series people thought wouldn't get to double digits, is still chugging along, the same could be true of Wasp.

@eto: He just came off 40 issue solos since 2012. It's not like he disappeared either, he's basically the lead in Occupy Avengers. If you want to know whats going on with Clint, you can just read that.

A much stronger start than All-New All-Different Avengers. Plus that beautiful Del Mundo art.

@eto: And it could be a great 10 issues. Though I think people said the same of Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur and that one is still going with no signs of being cancelled.

Looks like a fun series, will give a shot.

@eto: um...ok

The first issue was so good, easily one of my favorites of the Marvel Now books. Let's hope it can maintain it's quality.

I'm not familiar with Tamaki's work but maybe she is a good enough writer to pull this change off on She-Hulk. But does long term growth for a character necessitate emotional angst and struggle?

Well in order to grow you do need to struggle. Considering this is a Hulk book, a title often dealing with the emotion of anger, it makes sense that she should struggle emotionally.
