This here is my favorite Marvel comic, and I love her new costume! The pattern of her old costume was awkward as hell; Artist never really knew where exactly to place it. If she goes back to her old costume, I hope that they use the spider insignia from her current costume.

For those wondering, it seems like at the end of every arc, Spider-Woman gets a one-shot comic where she has a little vacation...that always goes wrong. So this series hasn't just been Jessica taking care her baby(Gerry). For the most part after having her baby, she went right back to her investigative hero-ing. It's a very kick ass comic with a great team. Hopeless does a really good job giving everyone a distinct voice, and it's really funny as well. Javier Rodriguez has left the series (*pours one out*) but the previous issue had Veronica Fish (not this issues artist) take over as the main artist, and she blew me away. If anyone wants to give the series a shot, I'd recommend picking Spider-Woman #11, that will give you a good idea of what to expect from the creative team going forward. The next arc is Spider-Woman Vs. The Hobgoblin for those of you who are mainly Spider-Man fans.

Was there this much arguing when Bucky replaced Steve as Captain America? Just curious.

I've always been curious about that too. Though I guess this situation wouldn't be a perfect 1 to 1 comparison, since Riri wasn't a long time friend to Tony, so many will just say doesn't deserve the mantle. Still I wondered because of people not liking Sam Wilson being Cap right now.

As for the book itself, It was on my pull list, but the more I read CWII's dialogue the more I remembered how I don't like Bendis' writing style. I'm over budget on comics with these new number 1's as well, so I'm gonna have to pass.

The work that Samnee has put into this is impressive. Definitely top 5 Marvel book.

I feel like the circles in the Venn diagram of Deadpool fans and Howard the Duck fans, have the Grand Canyon between them.

@daredevil21134:

No hard evidence really, just the fact the Marvel NOW! tagline is "Devided We Stand". I figured Marvel launched many books for the All-New All-Different line with the intention of splitting books into two series to sell more copies now that readers are invested in the characters.

People on Comic Vine really have terrible opinions.

Yeah I find that a lot of comic fans here are exclusively like more traditional "comicbook art". If it looks stylized or just strays to far from that classic look or feel, then it's garbage. I understand that stylized art often times is divisive, but I see it in the comment section of any comic that isn't very traditional.

Or some just feel that 70's Cage is a walking corny pun that should be left in the garbage, and modern Cage should be the focus at a time when he's at the height of his popularity.

This is corny, I very much agree. This is also a 4 issue out of continuity mini series that was announced nearly a decade ago.

I get that your a big Luke Cage fan, but you just a got a serious Netflix series (something that fans of other characters can only dream of) that's has been decent so far (2 episodes to go!). A show that constantly reminds the audience how corny Luke Cage can be. And just like he did in the show, I think modern comic Luke Cage might look back and say "Ugh...the 70's" and acknowledge that it was a corny phase in his life, but it's still a part of his history. This is just a mini homage/parody to that era, crafted by Tartakovsky, a creator who played with a corny action hero in his own cartoon series, Dexter's Lab. These 4 issues aren't gonna destroy Luke Cage's Legacy, it's just a fun little out of continuity distraction.

This looks like complete garbage. Why is this book not just a good series about modern Luke Cage that isnt super silly and stupid... I clicked on this hoping to see something that would remind me of the tv show and this is just... trash. :|

Well as they say, one mans trash is another mans treasure. Cause this looks great so far.
