@scouterv: My catch is the fact that Superman spared him.
Can you really call it a win if Batman only lived because Joker allowed it?
The way I see it, Superman got the better of the exchange, and therefore a "win" in an actual fight between the two would be given to him. However, in the overall scheme of things when you factor in plot, you could say Batman got the plot "win".
@theamazingspidey: You're still being hypocritical, and are cherry picking your examples.
Civil War has to introduce Spiderman, Crossbones, Government characters, Black Panther, Ant-Man for a joint movie, and any other surprises they have in store. It's literally no different from your issues with BvS, none of them have had "stand-alone" movies to develop them.
They're not "reducing" any character. It's a cameo, it's used to generate hype for a solo film. Guess what incredibly successful comic book company used this system to hype their character's solo movies or team movies?
Mother-F**kin-Marvel.
So I really don't feel too eager taking your review seriously when you're blatantly stating issues hypocritically that also apply to your golden boy producers.
You can't do that. You just can't. It's unfair, and makes your entire review baseless.
