The complaint that Superman is too powerful to be an interesting character annoys me. If his, undeniably substantial, powers result in a sub-par story, it is unfair to blame the character, when it is actually the writer who is incompetent. I present as evidence pretty much every story Grant Morrison has written about Superman.
