This reminds of Jon Favreau leaving Iron Man after #2. I wouldn't be surprised if it was the same reasons, those being that Marvel is too controlling of the individual films and what occurs in them because of the cinematic universe.
The Brubaker/Cooke Catwoman stuff will always be the golden standard for future Catwoman books. That being said, while I don't think Winick's stuff is completely terrible, I do think he needs to tone down and class it up a bit. The SEXY SEXY CATWOMAN stuff is overshadowing anything good in that book.
I don't think whether the changes warranted a relaunch are even important at this point. As much as we love the characters this was a business move all the way and for better or worse (character wise), this relaunch has been a success for DC.
But Daryl just keeps getting more and more awesome as the show progresses. He's now my favourite character 'cause he actually keeps his sh*t together.
Same here. Maybe it's the whole growing up in the country thing I relate to with him.
It felt like a setup episode. Get some plot points and character development set up for the inevitable action that will happen in the weeks to come. That being said, I really enjoyed the Glen and Daryl stuff in this episode.
It was only a matter of time before Carlie figured out who Peter was. I guess that Spider-Man tattoo is going to be awfully awkward in future relationships.
