I feel like Death's more Anderson rogue the Dredd's.

I think that's a fair point.

Personally I'd say they both generally go up against him as partners, with Anderson being MVP.

I haven't read that, so I'll have to check it out soon. I've read the Judge Child Quest however, and I didn't really get into it. The problem I have with the judge child is the fact that he's a child, lol. I just can't appreciate a good villain if they're that young, as I just find it a bit stupid, lol

I felt like the Judge Child Quest was a bit unfocused, to me it was like loads of different short stories that were loosely tied into each other just to lengthen the story, if you know what I mean.

Out of the classics I much prefer The Day the Law Died and The Cursed Earth.

but the last one is definitely my favourite (Joker as a dark judge is amazing)

Yeah Judge Joker is cool, I thought about trying to use him on the Battle forums a few times but I don't think people on Comicvine are that familiar with that particular version of the Joker.

Have you read City of the Damned? I think that was one of the best Judge Child stories. I do like the Judge Child Quest as well, but I was always less impressed with it than most people seem to be.

I think the first Batman crossover is very good, I actually think its one of the best cross-company comic book crossovers of all time. The second and third crossovers I think are a bit mediocre (they're okay). The Fourth one is good, its a lot of fun, though I think not quite as good as the first overall.

If you do make a list, if you could inform me that'd be great as I'd like to see your ranking :)

Def will do.

I love his origin, and he kinda reminds me of Deathstroke.

Yeah I can see the comparison, Orlok is more Russian patriot than mercenary though.

I might make a Dredd Rogue list myself one day, personally I think he has one of the best rogues gallery's out there. Love PJ Maybe, Judge Death, Mean Machine, The Judge Child, Orlok etc etc.

Its just a shame that Dredd ends up killing most of his rogues LOL

@black_wreath: Did a quick search and found the film I was thinking of. "The beast must die" 1974 staring Peter Cushing, and Calvin Lockhart. Defiantly one worth checking out.

Is that the one that has the "Werewolf Break" (lol) in it or am I thinking of something else?

This was a nice little introductory video from Comicvine.

In regards to the trailer, I was lukewarm on it, didn't like the music much and the book its based on is my least favourite Valerian book, art design looks cool though.

Will definitely still watch it and am still looking forward to it.

Yes, it does. Its also has United Statien Comic-strips such as Garfield. When you say bd do you only talk about bds or you include strips, comics and pulps?

I just meant Franco-Belgian comics in general really.

Ah, so you're more of a fan of the humour comics?

I'm generally into the sci-fi and adventure stuff, though I am intending to collect Asterix eventually.

Its looks like an entertaining franchise and i joked about it in the past but i havent read any comic of it yet. This said, if i had the opportunity to do so perhaps i would (I'm broke atm).

Do libraries in Quebec have many Franco-Belgian comics?

Best place to visit when you're low on funds.
