The Power Gem: With Spiderman's stealth ability and the suit of armor from Tony, upgraded by T'Challa Spidey could sneak into Marvel's Atlantis, and steal the gem. Secondly, when does Thanos really need a reason to do anything? For Thanos this could be sheer amusement. Also with the possible colliding of two universes Spiderman's quest could possibly destroy both universes given the proper scenario, and Thanos would find this enjoyable and help Spidey. So it's possible for Spiderman to make a selfish deal with Mephisto to save Aunt May, but not with Thanos to possibly save the universe. (A good writer could, and would create the possible scenario) Here is a scenario I made up on my own: Access (The character created and owned by both Marvel and Dc) is in the DC universe when he suddenly falls ill. He collapses on he street and is rushed to a hospital in Metropolis. There he is announced as a Jon Doe. He is in a coma, and is having sporadic seizures, little does anyone know this is Darksied's doing. Darksied remembers a gauntlet from another universe and how it appeared to be a power source. He captures Metron and uses his Mobius chair to breach the Source Wall creating a Boom tube into the Marvel Universe. Not able to find the gauntlet he does find the M'Kraan Crystal and takes it. Now all of the Marvel U is in danger of wiped out. Darksied goes thru with some grand plan to use the crystal and is stopped by the JLA. They take the crystal back to the Watchtower. Spiderman is chosen by the Grandmaster to go to the DCU and recover the crystal before all is lost. Why is Spidey chosen? Because he is Marvel's flagship character, and sending the Surfer on this quest with the ability to get help from "Any resource" is unfair. But use a hero that is not that powerful, and it gives you a chance to show his character. But you could even have the JLA take Spidey down after a long drawn out innovative battle, and when questioned by the JLA Spidey reveals his true quest, and now the JLA jump in to save a universe not theirs, and return Spiderman, and the crystal to their rightful places. Oh, and the whole "preventing your brain from getting smashed around in your skull." That is why the suit would be reinforced with Uru. Duh....

First to the practicality of my scenario. 1. First go to Tony and get the Iron Spider suit. Tony Stark created an armored suit for Spiderman (The Iron Spider) So that part is pretty factual. 2. Spidey goes to Asgard. Being a card carrying member of the Avengers Spidey could ask Thor to teleport him to Asgard to ask Odin for Uru. Hell in Fear Itself Tony does this to make weapons for earths heroes. So possible 3. Spidey gets the Power Gem for Namor Given the criteria “Access to any resource” answers this question. 4. Going to Wakanda for tech help During the storyline “The Other” Peter found out he was dying, and went to Wakanda for help.( he also visited Castle Doom, the Inhumans, and Dr. Strange. Spidey also helped lead a rebellion in the Negative Zone) so this too is plausible, and possible. Also given the resources of Wakanda, and their technology reverse engineering Tony’s suit is possible, and if they can merge Vibrainium, and Adamantium together, why couldn’t they do it with Vibrainium , and Uru? Plausible, and possible. And using the Power Gem as its power source is obvious. Unlimited power supply 5. Approaching Thanos for energy absorption upgrading Normally Spiderman wouldn’t , I agree. But Spiderman wouldn’t normally make a deal with Mesphisto either, but in a Brand New Day he did. Also Spidey and the Silver Surfer helped Thanos retrieve on of his war ships that was stolen from him in a Spiderman team up, so there is history there. So based on Marvel history, it’s possible. And Thanos’ ability to absorb and redirect energy is unflappable, so why not use him, after all this is all “What if” 6. Getting the Venom Symbiote, and its usage. This goes back to the “Any Resources” thing. In this battle he may not have time to change web-cartridges so use the symbiote. It also will increase his stamina, strength, speed, endurance, and heal him if needed. 7. The adaption of his web fluid Spidey has done this time from time depending on his opponents. Weather it was making his webbing insulated so Electro couldn’t shock him, or making it absorb water particles to stop Hydro man. Being a scientist Peter could, and would do the same to his webbing for Aquaman, and this would be the only web cartridge he would use. The rest of his webbing would come from the symbiote. 8. Not underestimating Batman This is what the bios he has are all about. He would know by the time the battle takes place how dangerous Batman is. He would also know that Batman is closer to Captain America than Thor. Neither are to be underestimated. But this doesn’t make any sense. I mean Spidey doesn’t even know about the Infinity Gems someone said. Spidey was killed in the Infinity Gauntlet story by Nebula. The Woman Thanos created. So he knows about the Gems and Thanos. He was also there during the Infinity War, and the Infinity Crisis. “It's the difference between any resource and any resource he can get his hands on that make's the difference.” And if that bothers you so much then exclude the Power Gem. With Ta’ Challa, and Thanos’ upgrades to his Iron Spider Suit it’s still an interesting and possible battle.

Thank you for saying that. I thought the thread was impling for us to come up with some way for Spiderman to win. So I did just that.

Okay the thread states: Spidey has 6 months prep time and access to any resource in the marvel universe that he can get his hands on. "Access to any resource" it didn't say anything about it being plausible, or possible. "Any Resource." In the other Storyline Spidey approached Ta Challa, The Inhumans, Castle Doom, and Dr. Strange, but here it's impossible for him to do so. Oh, my fault. I shouldn't have used my imagination. Spidey gets stomped because he couldn't get any help. Yeah that sounds so much better.

Given criteria I believe Spidey could. Here is how. First go to Tony and get the Iron Spider armor, then go to Asgard and ask Thor, and Odin for let’s say 20lbs of uru. The magical metal that Mjorlin is made of. He then visits Namor and gets the Power Gem. He then takes the metal, the gem, and the armored suit to Wakanda, and ask Ta Challa to reverse engineer the suit, and make all the special modifications to enhance it from his point of view, but cast it with the Uru, and Vibrainium with the power gem housed in the center of his spider insignia. This gives Spidey the protection he is going to need, the magical ability to hurt Superman, and the Vibrainium will help shake off the majority of the Flash’s attacks. The power gem also will allow him to heighten his strength, speed, agility, and other powers. He then takes the suit and goes to see Thanos promising him deaths galore for his help. (Of course Spidey isn’t going to kill anyone, but he lays it on pretty thick for Thanos. Thanos also knows Spidey is trying to dupe him, but he knows the ensuing battle could cause a rip in the cosmos if Spidey is able to prolong the fight.) Spidey has Thanos give the suit the ability to absorb cosmic energy, and energy used against the suit as a power source. This will help against Hal Jordan. After reading up on all the bios of the Justice League he becomes aware of how dangerous Batman is, so he is not going to overlook him. He also then concocts a special batch of web fluid that dehydrates others when it touches them, for Aquaman. Last he makes a stop at Eddie Brocks house to get the Venom symbiote. As a last minute addition because of its ability to produce unlimited amount of webbing. Time to fight, and Spidey now can definitely stand a chance in winning here. Also take into the fact that the JLA will probably be confused, and wondering how they just appeared in NYC, so yeah. Spidey now has a chance. I know here comes the gripe about the Power Gem, it said he can’t use the Gauntlet, or a reality warping item. The Power Gem does neither, it only enhances his abilities, and because Spidey is not a cosmic titan he doesn’t understand how to unlock the full potential of the gem. So there.

I have to vote Ares here. After much thinking Ares could beat Juggy the same way Thor could. Cut Juggy off from the magic giving him his power. Being an actual god, I believe even Ares could pull off this magical feat. Now Ares's superior fighting skill wins the fight, weather it's DC/Marvel. Also I guess Marvel has messed with Ares's abilities because last I checked Greek, and Roman gods are immortal. Norse gods like Thor are not.

In a What if comic Rogue absorbed Thor's psyche, and as it bothered her slightly it didn't hinder her in a fight with the Avengers. If she could do that to Thor, a person that has lived for a couple thousand years, then absorbing Batman will not bother her. He would only add to her skill set. Stop being irrational people. Superman loses here. It's too much of a mountain to climb, even for him.

Wonder Woman and Supes wins this relatively easy. Storm doesn't stand a chance in this fight. She is down in two, three minutes which allows both DC characters to take Thor down easily. Even if Supes is bothered by magic here, Wonder Woman faces Thor straight up, and Supes provides backup. Too much power for even the god of thunder to overcome.

I can see this ending in a stalmate. As in Reed finds a way or has a device on him, or he builds one using the Torch's ability to power it to open the negetive zone and trick Doomsday into it.

Rogue wins this hands down. By absorbing Batman, and Supergirl she knows how to take down Superman. Batman's analytical mind has taken Superman down plenty of times, and now that mind has the power, skill, and a body that can take the punishment. Please this is a no brainer. Every advantage Superman had are gone. Some people wouldn't know he is powered by the sun, but Supergirl is also, so Rogue knows this now. DC has already established that Supergirl is faster than Superman, so there is another one in Rogue's book. Not to mention Batman's fighting ablilty. Superman has had fights with power absorbers before, but now Rogue is faster, has the fighting ability to stand up to him, the mind to formulate a plan on the fly, and use whatever Batman has already prepared for in the case of Superman, and close enough to his strength level. She could just fly to the Batcave get Batman's Krypto ring, and use it, knowing that she would get weakened by it, but it would kill Superman. How do you even vote for Superman in such a lopsided fight? Oh, Superman fans, I forgot.
