My 100 Least Favorite Female Characters
Companion piece to my Least Favorite Male characters list. This is the one for the female characters.

Female Abomination with long flowing blonde hair and a tutu dress. Yeah...
The aptly named Spider-Bitch. Only good thing about her is the costume.
Post-Mass Effect 1 (if she lives that long)
In the versions of the Medusa Myth where she punished Medusa with the curse of Gorgonhood after Poseidon raped her. Yeah. Punishing a rape victim.
Gotham TV show version
One of the most blatant examples of the "Evil is Sexy" trope, and as I generally hate that trope as a rule...
As Red She-Hulk
Post Character Derailment. Marvel has ruined my favorite of their females something fierce.
Ultimate Marvel Universe version
Because apparently one female Nazi Flash wasn't enough.
Pre-Crisis, Golden Age version. I love most modern iterations of Catwoman to death, but not her in the Golden Age (or Silver Age to be honest).
Female version of my least favorite DC villain ever. Because apparently we needed that.
Embodies everything I hate about generic damsel-in-distress "don't do anything important" civilian girlfriends for male Superheroes.
Basically lame Spider-Gwen
MCU version from the Jessica Jones show, who stands out as neither a shitty parent or a shitty character from the Jessica Jones show (Marvel has an abundance of both).
Shame too, considering she's one of the only mainstream comic book characters of India background.
Ultimate Marvel version
DCEU version
Between a name like that and her being spawned from the soil of places where the Holocaust happened, I'm in no disposition to like this character.
MCU version anyway. Suffice to say, the feminism I subscribe to doesn't quite line up with her's.
Stupid idea. She'd be less so if they dropped the "Gwen" part, since she isn't actually an alternate Gwen Stacy (which just makes the name stupidly arbitrary).
Non-superpowered, MCU version, who's one of the most boring characters in the entire MCU.
The versions that feel compelled to punish the children of her husband's affairs, because apparently children who don't get to decide who their parents are are responsible for their father's crimes.
Mostly the Arrow version, who was the absolute worst thing about Arrow's second season, though I can't claim to love the comic version either.
MCU gender-flipped version
I like the Arrowverse version, but not the terribly designed and more villainous comic version.
Arrowverse version
A female MMH who turns out to be a mass murderer of civilians, a pedophile, AND part of a child sex slave ring. Yeah...
The worst versions of the character, such as her portrayal in Spider-Man 3
The Anti-Miranda Lawson, and acknowledged as such in-universe. But the thing is...I really like Miranda, and don't want her to be evil, or in this case have yet another "Evil is Sexy" femme fatale sociopath brunette.
I don't like pacifists.
Shown here in the appropriate state
Stupid name. Not a great design either, whether in the comics or the Flash TV show.
Batman and Robin version
Actually not this character. Rather, the OTHER Marvel redhead female named "Robyn" who is Jessica Jone's insufferable upstairs neighbor.
Anyone who's ever seen Ed, Edd, and Eddy knows exactly where I'm coming from here.
The villainous depictions of the character
A most unfortunate choice in name
During her mohawk-wearing, b*** on wheels phase from the 1980s. Normally, I love Storm, but not during that phase of the character's existence.
Pedophile old lady Wonder Woman. Yeah.
Arrowverse version, who's another evil brunette/evil Russian femme fatale. Two of my least favorite female archetypes!
As I've well established at this point, I am (to put it generously), not exactly big on Nazi villains, especially when they're made super-powerful.
At her most generic and boring (not that she's all that interesting in general except for the Telltale version).
I've never loved the Terrible Trio, and the female version of Vulture in "The Batman" (who is also yet another evil black haired beauty), is no more in my good graces.
One of Marvel's more blatant insults to DC Comics.
As a fusion of one of my least favorite Marvel females (Wasp) and one of my least favorite DC females (Wonder Girl), complete with a poor costume, it's no surprise that I don't love this one.
Frank Miller's version in All-Star Batman and Robin, along with other Misandrist portrayals.
Ladies and gentlemen, I give you my least favorite female character of all time. From anything. Ever.
A poodle themed superhero? Ugh!
