@theacidskull: Yo, uh, yeah, this is weird, so uh even though a lot of time has passed I still wanna say "Thank You!". Like for real you gave a much better explanation regarding the strife folks have with the Duggan run and I appreciate that. Why'd it take take almost a year and a half to respond? I don't know. I mean Tony G leaving and the lack of news story updates for one didn't help but I guess it's just one of those you things you want to get around to doing but never actually do. I especially have that problem with socialization (fucked me up quite a bit over the years). And your not even the only one either, I just responded to a bunch of other dudes on another old ass thing

Anyways I don't know if you'll ever see this considering it's been so long but I just wanted to tell you I'm thankful for your response.

Also, what the hell is with Pham's obsession with shading noses? Much of the art here isn't bad, but DAMN that's distracting!

That's what you have a problem with?! Mine is with the everyone's mouth's/lips. It's freaking me out.

This guy is all over the place.

Why didn't they just keep him in his own reality and make the comic about him reclaiming America with baby Hulk?

This!

The thing is, they killed off Logan 616 so they brought OMLogan over to this universe and yeah...

Idk first couple issues were promising and intrigued me, but now it's just like you mentioned.......all over the place.

On one hand I kinda get what you mean, but on the other hand, Awnaw! Hell naw! Man! I love how this series just kinda feels like a fun tour de force that you'd expect from a character like Wolverine. The first arc was "Sin City", the second was a backwoods action horror, the third was a Japanese action thriller, the fourth was a fun monster mash, and now we have alien horror. We get all of that with the added angle of melancholy and weariness while still carrying a strong sense of conviction. IMO (and admittedly this is coming from not the most educated of Wolverine fans) this might go down as one of the best Wolverine runs ever.

That said, I'd still be down for a series about Old Man Logan raising the Hulk baby in the Wastelands after this status quo has run it's course.

I'm sure there's also something cynical about the idea of thinking something shouldn't exist just cause you don't like it.

Was this a dig at me? If so, what are you trying to say? That I'm supposed to like the idea of every comic that comes out at face value? Really?!

I haven't read the Gwenpool series tbh, but I've seen a handful of scans and I've got to say...Does anyone like her? Thus far, (from a non-reading perspective) it kinda sucks.

Let's put it this way. The entire idea of this character comes from a completely cynical place. Spider Gwen is a hit. Spider-Gwen is a hit. Gwenpool $$$$$$$.

That said, the critics I've listened to have found the storytelling to actually be very intriguing. It's for hard me to say but basically the appeal is not so much the character but her situation. And as such, the creative was able to craft something insightful despite the cynical cash grabby reasons for it's existence. Also the GURIHURI art is simply astounding.

Here's some sample reviews to help give you an idea (I made sure the video automatically plays the parts where they are talking about Gwenpool so you don't have to watch the whole thing).

I feel the opposite, I never cared much for Midnighter and Apollo but this "going to Hell" plot might peak my interest.

@jonny_anonymous: but at least Perlman is going to do it right from the start and not in the middle of the story like 'Bender' did with GOTG

What did Bendis do in the middle of what story?

@stahlflamme: Dammit, okay look part of me does have some interest into possibly picking up that run of Hawkeye in the future along with say stuff like the Jim Mcann run, so even though I'm aware of how that story turns out for the most part, I prefer not to get too much into detail on spoiler stuff. Therefore it is hard to have this "Is it really that?" conversation because it involves the very serious topic of abortion. That is something that practically requires going into heavy spoiler detail because it is a heavy topic. So, this'll probably be my last question, can it also be read as call to take care of the, let's say "not as healthy" kids? Cause the abortion thing doesn't feel as strong to me if the kids are already alive and moving about and not inside a womb. Hell even if they're placed in a container or womb-like thing after being alive and moving about, they were still alive and moving about.

Also, you say

"what's the message then take children away from doctors, because they are villains that are doing bad things. And give them to people out of sight to take care of till they are dead."

well IDK about that second part but for the first, if they're bad doctors, the answer yes. The whole evil scientist trope is a major thing in, well fiction period, especially with the many understandable real life comparisons.

Bonus Question: If this truly does come off strongly as a Pro-Life message, but it turns out Lemire is Pro-Choice, what does that say about Lemire? LOL

@NukeA6: or maybe just have one of them just take up the Ronin mantle (I personally don't care which, I'm just tired of this "multiple heroes having the same name" thing).
