@shawnbaby: @eisenfauste: @snascimento: Have your opinions changed at all?

Well, Gal Gadot is still too skinny, too pale, and too short...so until she can fix those things... I kinda feel the same way now as I did then.

That being said I think BvS is going to have bigger problems than a short skinny WW.

How about now, since the movie is out?

I still think the movie has bigger problems than a short skinny Wonder Woman.

To be fair to Gal Gadot though, she was as good as she could have been in the role despite her obvious physical shortcomings.

Except comic books only come out every month, and very little time can pass between issues (Some continue the moment after the last issue ended)

That's the point.

@Shawnbaby: I'm aware of that but Punisher is actually quite old, having served in Vietnam.

He SHOULD be that old...in actual comic book terms though he isnt...Remember Comic Books have a sliding time scale. Magneto was in a Nazi Concentration Camp...and him and Xavier are the same age...either of them look like they are 80?

Both Xavier and Magneto were "rebirthed"

Xavier was cloned after he was infected and turned into a Brood Queen (around Uncanny in the 160s 170s,) He had a younger body and his legs worked.

Magneto was reduced to infancy by a very powerful mutant named Omega, he re-grew up, at an advanced rate, but his body is in his thirty ish

In this environment where Batman can stealth his butt off, The Dark Knight takes out Frank with medium difficulty.

You are correct...but still...those things happened in the late 70's/early 80's. So 30 to 40 years ago. Have they aged 30 to 40 years?

But, if you want a better example...look at Spider-Man...he was created over 50 years ago. He was 15 at the time. Does Peter Parker look like he's in his late 60's?

Comic book Characters do not age in real time...because of this sometimes they have to slightly retcon certain past events. Peter Parker is in his late 20's now...which means, continuity wise, he would have been bitten by the spider in the early 2000's (This is confirmed by the introduction of Silk who was bitten by the same Spider that bit Peter and subsequently locked away in a bunker for 13 years.). Sometimes they have to cheat if they want to keep a character around but their origin story is too important to retcon. Magneto has to be from Auschwitz, and Xavier and Magneto have to have been friends when they were young...which means they have to be about the same age.

Caesar is an intelligent primate with ridiculous physical attributes. The monkey is legit much, much stronger, athletic and ferocious than even Bats.

Batman would have to have morals off to even subdue or defeat him IMO. He can't do anything to slow him down physically.

While its certainly true that a chimpanzee (not a monkey) is much stronger than an average human....Batman is not an average human. If you could take the best physical attributes from of all the best Olympic Athletes and somehow combine them all into a single person...that person would still be physically inferior to Batman in every way. He's stronger, faster, and more agile than any actual human could ever hope to be.

It would have been better if they kept Doomsday out of the trailers.

As it is, It's going to be funny seeing Batman fighting Superman because of all the destruction that happened in his fight with Zod...only to team up with Superman in another fight with the mutated Zod which will probably cause even more destruction. Ah, I love the smell of hypocrisy in the morning.

@shawnbaby: he willed himself back to health......I think that's a tad better then Punisher just dying.

Kinda skipping over the part where Maseo had to haul Oliver's body off the mountain and into the care of his wife.

Both would have been dead without outside intervention. Neither are actually dead now.

Well yeah he would have died from exposure and hunger eventually if he was just left there. But the point is that Ollie had his throat shut by Ra's al Ghul, was stabbed through the stomach, and then kicked off a mountain, yet he did not die. Maseo brought him some place warm and Tatsu fed him penicillin tea; he made a full recovery within three days. Why does the fact that he needed his body taken to shelter make the fact that he survived this any less insane?

Because in order for it to be relevant to the battle at hand...Oliver would have had to been able to walk away from that under his own power.

I agree with that, but then why was Punisher's fight with Daken anything impressive? He was out of it after the first slashes, it just took awhile for him to actually fall.

What makes Frank's feat more impressive was that, even though he was severely wounded, he continued to fight on. It's a better showing of actual endurance, pain tolerance, and durability.

@shawnbaby: yo. How did punisher become normal again after Frankencastle?

His body was healed by the Bloodstone. Also made him young again.
