Hey Tony,

don't worry, this is not my only post, butsomehow I can not get into my other profile (Shallbecomeabat) and when I want to get a new password the systems says there is an error or it can't find my username/email.

Anyway, what I wanted to ask (it would be a great question when you got a writer as a guest) is why Germans are still mostly depicted as horrible people or bad guys in comics. Since I am German and not a Nazi or evil raping scientist it bothers me sometimes. I know that our history is a really dark and bad one, but what a lot of people forget is that the first country the Nazis invaded was their own and that a lot of the jewish people who died were also Germans. We are not different from most other western countries, I have a lot of British friends for example, which have the exact same opinions I do.

So, I get it that writers use Nazi villains, like Red Skull and that is absolutely fine with me, but I would love to see some more German heroes in comics. Magneto is German (he comes from my hometown, when you believe the First Class movie) but hes not a real hero most of the time. Then we have Nightcrawler, but hes dead now and when he last visitied German in the comics Munich looked like a keltic village from a Conan movie. I would really love to read about a cool character, who is German and is well accepted in the hero community and who also doesn't look like a barbarian, like DC's Wild Huntsman character. Maybe a guy who activly fights guys like Red Skull. Not in a solo book of course, but as part of the Earth 2team, or Avengers for example. What do you think? Also, we are not all blond and beerdrinkers.

My second question is about the trade waiting. I am a trade waiter, since I prefer the Hardcovers and trades to the single issues. I don't have the money to buy everything 2times and read already almost too many ongoings from DC, Marvel and Vertigo. How does my buying factor into the sales? I sometimes feel guilty that I don't buy the single issues, since I have the feeling that my "vote with my wallet" comes too late for some books and I don't support the creators at the time that they may need it.

Lastly, I wanna thank you Tony (and also lovely Sarah and Corey on the other podcast) for entertaining me so well on my commute and/or in the gym. The podcasts are a fixed part of my week.

Also big thanks to whichever creator you have with you there, since almost all stuff I read currently is really great and I feel like comics have never been better than today (I read for more than 20years).</p>
