I have been reading DC for a long time now, Rebirth is killing it at the moment but that got me into thinking... This could get better, what about reading best of both worlds? So here I am, wondering what would be good titles to catch up with. Just few pointers, I wanted to get into Marvel few times but there was always some huge event with almost every Marvel hero involved and I just didn't care about it, so I would like to start with a character that is in his own story or has connection to a character family (like Bat-family for example). I also don't need to go back and read stuff from history, when I get into characters I'll be able to do that myself.

I was thinking about few series and you can tell me what you think about it, also suggesting some stuff would be appreciated:

Moon Knight

Doctor Strange

Daredevil

Thanos

Also to mention, I seriously don't care about characters changing genders every few months, or someone becoming new Thor, Iron-Man every few issues. Thanks guys.

If you don't want to wait for Rebirth then start with New 52.

I didn't read New 52 Flash but from what I read I can suggest:

Justice League

Batman

Green Lantern

Red Lanterns

Deathstroke vol. 2 of New 52

Catwoman Valentine's run only

Batman Eternal

No he really shouldn't, he is detective, tactical master and brain behind JL, if he was able to fight heavy hitters it would be too much. Things Batman dose for JL are as important as fighting itself, you sound like his job is less important.

Red all the way.

Any reasons why this is your favourite corps?

Vengeance and basic instincts of rage are awesome topics. They don't mind getting their hands dirty (sometimes literally) in order to get job done, as they say - judge and executors. Their oath is epic as well.

The thread is flawed... Batman with Prep time could take down anyone. Because of the existance of artifacts like the cosmic cube, infinity gems, power batteries...etc. Don't think for a second that if Earth was about to be ate by Big G-man, and Batman knew way ahead of time... then if Reed can do it. Batman can. As for Doomsday, Batman borrows the Mother Box, and a Boom Tube and sends Doomsday into a black hole. Again.. with endless resources, and determination, Batman wins!!

Side note: I'm only half way through Red Lanterns but I'm enjoying the title a lot.
