Munoz grinned, watching as Tim made haste to leave. "Oh nothing new today." She said, watching as Joey went about his work. She shifted and then moved to help him with some of it. "I thought I'd stop by and see how you were doing today and maybe we could go do something tonight." She smiled. "Something outside of Gothic maybe? I can fly us somewhere and we can really relax for a few hours." She'd changed the colors of her outfit when she thought he was gone for good so many years ago and had kept them that way when he returned so she was wearing the colorized version of her Nth Metal Weave.

She smiled to herself, sometimes watching him out of the corner of her eyes while they cleaned things up. True he was getting older but she didn't mind at all, actually she thought a little age looked good on him. "You know, if you want to go out with a friend of the family again." She teased.

I want to add a few things to this:

*The gangs will move in almost instantly, I'll have a post up that will include that later on.

*This would be a great chance for anyone thinking of making a villain for CVbU to do it.

*The walls are not small, taller and thicker than the Berlin wall. Them coming down will be noticeable from anywhere in the city.

She smiled a little and walked over to stand beside her where she took the girl's hand in her own for a moment. "Nothing wrong with boys, you get used to them after awhile." She said, keeping things a little light for now. "I keep fighting because it's who I am. I'm the eternal optimist, used to drive my fellow heroes crazy. One day all that you see out there will turn around, Gothic's citizens are beautiful people, a lot of them aren't perfect but they struggle and survive in a world that is entirely organized against them. You won't find a harder bunch of citizens anywhere in the world."

Sentinel Hawk was quiet for a moment but eventually shared her thoughts. "Your father was a good man, regardless of anything that happened later. He was one of the first people to greet me when I moved to this country, he even...well..." She grinned. "Let's just say he accidentally saw more of me than he wanted and he was a good sport about it and never made it a thing, aside from when he was embarrassed to remember it. He was an amazing roommate and friend. I miss him." She turned her eyes to the girl beside her. "You want to train? We'll train. I'll get you in fighting shape in no time. Just show up every day and try to look forward to one thing each day as a positive thought, that's all I ask."

Sentinel Hawk's HUD informed her of the relation and she smiled a little and stepped aside, motioning for the young woman to step inside. Sentinel Hawk was older but she looked for all the world like she was still seventeen. "Come on in." She offered. The little building wasn't much but she had parts of it decorated with various fragments of her past, including a picture of Meredith's father when he was much younger. There was evidence that Sentinel Hawk spent time here but absolutely none that she actually live here. This was an office of sorts for her, a base of operations to work out of when she was helping the truly lost to see the road ahead of them again. "I haven't seen someone from your line in awhile." She said, revealing she was aware of the blood connection. Her HUD had run a series of facial recognition tests and discovered the connection, certain facial traits always carried over from parents to children. "What brings you to my door?"

She actually adopts the colors after she believes Joey has died in honor of him. She keeps them all those years later and...yeah...well...she can't age, lol.

Well we just wrapped a scene where "joey" tells her that the Joey she knew and loved is dead and the being currently being called Joey is something entirely different. To her, he's as dead as if his body were rotting in the ground.

Munoz is going to colorize her costume. The boots are red in memory of Joey. Now I just wish I was the one who made this picture so I could colorize the ones that have wings, lol.

Munoz moved quietly out of his way, not out of fear, she didn't fear him or anyone else that acted like that. She moved away because she realized there was nothing left between them...nothing left to say. She closed her eyes for a moment and lowered her head out of pure sadness. She didn't know what to do or what to think. She eventually opened her eyes and watched the stranger walk away. Sentinel Hawk shook her head a little and took flight. The sound barrier screamed a second after take off, the concussion wave shattering windows and setting off car alarms.
