I've attempted to get into Superman titles before, picked up a few issues here or there, just never got really into it. With my luck, I was probably always picking the crap. I've always wanted to like Superman and I'm a huge Batman fan and love when Bats and The Boy Scout meet up. I'm also a huge fan of Scott Snyder. I read Batman, Swamp Thing, Talon and I loved Severed and his run on Detective Comics. So when I heard that Snyder was taking on a Superman title (especially with Lee) I was very excited and I will be picking it up and I really do hope Snyder writes a Superman I can enjoy.

How the hell is Mr. Freeze "effed" -- It's one of the best stories he's had to date.

I honestly cannot wait to see what Scott does with The Joker. Extremely excited about this.

Agree 100%! I really dug Snyder's take on Freeze, gave him some depth and showed how cold (terrible pun intended) he truly is. Think most people who claim to have hated the Annual were bothered by Freeze's sleeveless look...they need to get over it, the story was stellar.

I LOVE The Joker, been obsessed since childhood, can NOT wait for Snyder's take on Joker.

@erik_norris: Yea, I definitely understand. Must be tough picking 10 comics a week with so many good books out there.

This week I'll be picking up (well, I don't actually pick up on a weekly basis, I have a subscription service through TFAW.com that ships monthly) Animal Man #11, The Punisher #13, and Sweet Tooth #35. I'm really excited about Batman: Earth One but I'll pick it up later. I always get graphic novels and trades for my birthday/Christmas/and now on Father's Day.

Animal Man is one of my favorites. Not only is the writing phenomenal but I love the link to Snyder's Swamp Thing and the art, it's very gritty and brutal as it should be. Also, I'm surprised after all of the great reviews of Issue #12 that Punsiher #13 is not on this list. Punisher is my second favorite Marvel book, right behind Winter Soldier and right above Daredevil.

Before I get started, if trying to sell comics is frowned upon here or if this was posted in the wrong place, I am sorry, I tried to search the forums and it seemed like it would be alright to post this here.

Hey, I'm a father of a 5 month old baby and my wife, son and I are about to relocate over 900 miles away at the end of July and I am recently jobless. Cry me a river, right? But seriously, I could obviously use some extra coin for moving expenses, etc. so I decided to try to sell off some comics.

I have a pretty extensive collection and a lot of these are comics I enjoyed yet have to part with, some I'll admit weren't my cup of tea and I may have purchased them back when I had extra cash to toss around but hey, you might like them and a very small amount of them are duplicates. If you have any questions about any of the comics feel free to contact me here or even better through my e-mail (Scotthanstein@clear.net).

99.9% of them are first printings. They were all immediately boarded/bagged upon acquiring them and kept in long boxes in a smokeless, room temperature environment with a dehumidifier. I am a collector and take very good care of my comics, figures, etc.

I would prefer to do everything though ebay since it's regulated and safe and secure (for both parties). So if you see a comic(s) you like, contact me and I can put it up at a Buy It Now price that we would negotiate prior to the item being listed. However, some may be placed without Buy It Now prices, depending on the item and amount of people interested.

CLICK HEREto browse the comics (Total = 424) I'm willing to sell. Click on any series/arc to explore which issues I have available. Contact me with any questions/concerns/offers/etc.

Special Notes: My "Goon: Fancy Pants Vol. 3" is still factory sealed. Also, my Action Comics #855 is signed by Eric Powell. I also have some Eric Powell sketch books which aren't listed that are signed and in some cases numbered so feel free to contact me if interested.

Didn't they all sign contracts for 6 movies or was it just Ruffalo and the guy who played Bucky in Cap? If they did, then there's the answer to the question.

I'm not lost, not at all. I read Batman, and Batman & Robin but that really has nothing to do with what I was asking. I was asking if I had to read the previous run of Batman, Inc. (before the relaunch in September 2011) before reading the new run of Batman, Inc. This post really just concerns Batman, Inc. both old and new, no other Bat books are relevant. After looking into it I don't think I'm going to bother with Inc. at all, either run. Snyder's my boy.

Out of all of the books involved in the event, I only read Batman, Batman & Robin, and All Star Western. I will NOT purchase any other books just for the sake of keeping up with the entire event, I'll read spoiler reviews of the other books instead. I am a huge Snyder fan so I am extremely excited for this, it's been talked about on Twitter pretty much since the DC relaunch. Batman has been great and it's only getting better with each new issue. Capullo's artwork is fantastic, I absolutely love it, I get stuck on a single page for way longer than necessary just admiring his talent. There, however, should be like a one-shot in which Batman just goes to a carnival or sits in the bath with some bath salts and bubbles, candles lit all around him, Enya playing in the background....Batman needs a break, Snyder has been kicking his ass since he started writing Batman. Poor Bruce.

I'm a DC guy trying to get into more Marvel. At the moment, I'm reading the following Marvel books: Daredevil, Punisher, Winter Soldier. While I highly doubt this series will be better than any of the series I just mentioned, it does look promising, at least to a Marvel noob like myself. I agree with the post above about the original suit, I prefer that look to this but I'll embrace it if it's a good book. Definitely going to give it a chance.
