Curse.

What I thought the film did really well was the fact that Kal has to keep things in check all the time. Not just because of the fear he'd create...but the damage as well.

Example: He let that guy in the bar throw the beer can/bottle at him and shrugged it off. Then he went outside and vented by putting the guy's 18-wheeler in a tree.

If Kal ever "cut loose" like Wolverine, Deadpool, or even Batman, it's not just people who'd die. Mountains would fall. Wind patters would change. Climates would shift. Species would go extinct.

If it wasn't for his upbringing, he'd be like Zod.

Which is what makes Superman a hero.

Because how many of us would do what he does if we could do what he can?

Nightstalkers...which would bring Blade back into the fold, and Alpha Flight!

@joygirl: ...I was thinking Bruce Campbell...

And how about Tom Welling for Bizarro?

Again...Bruce Wayne would lose - the first time - but figure out a way to win the second bout.

Now here's a question: Assuming Bruce would document what he learned from fighting (and eventually beating) Wolverine, would Dick, Tim or Jason win their first meetings with the mutant? Or would they have to come up with their own ways of wining?

Batman would lose...the first fight. Never the second. Ever.
Not just against Cap, but every Marvel character...and DC character...and Valiant character...

A good writer can make any character interesting...

A good artist can make any character cool...

But without the character...they'd both be out of a job.

I think the plot for A2 will connect to the plot from Thor 2. They're saying that the Thor sequel will involve Malekith and the Casket of Winters. In the comics, he used the Casket on Earth, causing eternal winter...that ran through most if not all of Marvel's titles at the time.

My guess is that by the end of Thor 2, Earth will be snow-ridden and will stay that way until the Avengers defeat Malekith in A2.
