Cashing in on their prize Bat, I see.

If DC expects to profit on any other characters (especially with new movies and shows being released in the coming years), they might want to try actually publicizing other characters. Just a suggestion, though.

I think this was a pretty solid episode, not terrible but not fantastic.

Very happy to see Malcolm's return! He's an interesting character, and I may be wrong but I think they referenced the Lazarus Pit, didn't they? I love all of the comic references in this, even the unimportant ones, too, like the fact that they have their own Bethany Snow on channel 52. They're nice touches.

I hope they do something with Laurel's character soon, though. She's become so predictable and boring.

As for Oliver and Felicity's moment, I'm not impressed. The set-up for Felicity's kidnapping was seriously stupid. "Let's just have Felicity investigate a truck full of Vertigo that is the known location of a serial killer, despite the fact that she has no training whatsoever." What logic is that? Please, CW, stop making Felicity the damsel in distress; it's getting old.

So, so much angst this episode.

And probably Harley's issue zero. From what I've seen it seems too kitschy for my tastes, but who knows?

I was thinking about this too and the only conclusion I could come up with was that Sinestro kept his promise to Hal by staying away from the corps but knowing Hal was too occupied with all the Corps stuff he decided to come to Earth and help save it FOR Hal. Since they're friends and all.

O, thats most likely will be not only about helping friend, but also for vengeance, for revenge. Dont forget that Power Ring's ring was before Flashpoint possesed by spirit of Voltoom. And who is Voltoom in post-Flashpoint univerce? He is First Lantern, Destroyer of Korugar, whose ring was "banished back into his corrupted univerce" in Green Lantern #20.

Oh, I didn't even think of that! Good thinking!

Very interesting theories from both of you. This would certainly be interesting to play out.

I always figured that Sinestro's return would have something more to do with the Korugarians that were still alive (Green Lantern 23.4), but maybe Sinestro saving the Earth will draw them out ?

Think aquaman would be good if it took note from Thor. Asgard under water

No Caption Provided

I think the best way to go would be Aquaman or Wonder Woman, personally. Both have something to prove. For Aquaman, it would be convincing people that the "Aquaman is lame" pop culture trope isn't true; for Wonder Woman, many need to be convinced that she isn't a man killing misandrist that some feminists would want her to be (though I don't think we have a problem with that here).

I'm guessing there'll be an overwhelming amount of calls for a Wonder Woman movie in the comments.

I'll be fine with any Justice League member as long as it's not another Batman movie. After MoS's sequel, they need to put his character to rest until the JL movie in 2017. Superman, too.

This one shouldn't have been that close, in my opinion.

Thor is a god. Faora isn't.

Thor could beat Superman nine times out of ten.

Faora couldn't beat Superman.

Easy win for Thor.

Still can't believe Flash is getting a TV show and a movie whilst Wonder Woman....

Wonder Woman is probably the most famous feminist icon, even outside of comics. Barry isn't. If they ruin Barry's show, it won't be as much of a big deal.

I just hope that when they finally do produce a movie that they used their time wisely, because I think they've taken long enough, especially since the Justice League movie comes out in 2017. I can't imagine Diana not being there. Who knows, maybe that'll be their jumping off point with her.

Hugo Weaving as Red Skull is poetry.

Sir Ian as Magneto would've had my vote, but the X-men films aren't a part of the MCU, I suppose.

I think that taking over TV (with Agents of SHIELD starting to become less and less liked over time) is the smartest thing DC can do. Its genius.

Remember when there was going to be a Wonder Woman show? Hourman is clearly more marketable than she is.

Wonder Woman needs to be a movie character.

Smaller-time characters on TV, big time characters on movies.

Smallville? Arrow? The Flash? Shazam!? Wonder Woman? Swamp Thing? Human Target? Birds of Prey?

Those characters weren't too big for tv before, so...?

Batman almost had a Smallville type show as well...

Yeah, and about half of the shows didn't do so well. Bigger characters have a better chance on the big screen because they don't need to convince the audience how powerful they are. Smaller characters need time to convince an audience, which is why they seem to do better in television series.
