Early Life

Scalar was born to Samael and Fury the lesser gods of the underworld. As one could say this brought on interesting life to Scalar and his fascination with the other gods as well as Earth. Like all gods he was born to the Chaos and soon learned the order of things by straying away from his parents to find his own way. Because of the nature of the gods, the underworld, and more specifically his upbringing, Scalar's father never showed a great deal of love to him, often ignoring his child's plights. Naturally over time Scalar wasn't the type to be deterred by such actions. In fact he has since been most of his time on Earth and the upper world of the gods vowing to only return to his birthplace in a time of crisis.

At a relatively young age he displayed incredible pyrokinetic power by burning an entire village this place became known as Pompeii something he relatively brags despite having no recollection of the event. Although he was already destined to be a demi-god of great prowess, Samael, gave the boy a portion of his own power to give him a head start. He was planning his son to be a pure rebellion. Often telling his son to do what he pleases not caring for the collateral damage in the long run. Being born of lesser gods one would think his power would not equal to theirs or surpass it by the time he was a good century old. His father was keen on showing off his son's superior power to other gods as well. With no sense of consequence he did not hesitate to slaughter each and every one. Quickly becoming known as The Gods' Killer.

Arriving on Earth Scalar was the being single-handedly responsible for granting humanity technology and experimentation that the Catholic Church tried so hard to repress. He taught his human companions arts and technologies such as weaponry, cosmetics, mirrors, sorcery, and other techniques that would otherwise be discovered gradually over time by the humans, not foisted upon

them all at once. In order he taught the humans the signs of the Earth. Scalar knew to plan this carefully gradually increasing the damage each time he taught. Secondly he taught men the resolving of enchantments. This of course caused the Catholic Church and later the Puritans to call numerous people warlocks, witches, demons, and so forth. Teaching the art of cosmetics caused the impurity of men. Brothels were made to show off humanities' beauty. Both men and women. Though they have become known to grow more extreme over time. Fourth, he taught men astrology. The worshiping of the stars began again. The signs of the clouds came with little consequence. Scalar didn't expect the race of man to use such a talent in good use and this caused him to disappear back to the world of the gods once his fun was spoiled.

His appearance didn't happen till several centuries later. During this time he pleasured himself to all life had to offer on Earth. Sex, drunkenness, drugs, and much more. A blow to his ego is was he became the god of drunkenness. The Roman equivalent to Bacchus and unfortunately the name has stuck since. The confusion between the two of them angers him to no end. The fact he has never met a Bacchus makes the nickname worse. His arrogance eventually became his downfall as he finally found an eternal partner just as worse as him. Someone he met almost 1000 years ago.

Powers and Abilities

Photon Manipulation: Completely unique to only Scalar he is able to transform into light and still maintain his physical look. Scalar is able to utilize light-based attacks that range from shooting laser beams from his hands, fingers, or feet. All capable of massive explosions. He is also able to do partial transformations that enable light-speed physical attacks, all of them being very devastating; he is also able to avoid normal attacks like by turning into light and allowing the attack to pass through him completely. Scalar is also able to travel at the speed of light but only by reflection limiting the way and where he can travel. He can also make a sword out of light to serve as a weapon that is most durable even against the most powerful enemies.
