AOA was beautiful. Really build up a nice level of tension, so many little subplots running though out, and i felt such a real sense of danger for all these characters. The sacrifices here were terrificly executed. I won't name details, since it looks like some people haven't read AOA yet (woah, really? Come on people! Do it! lol) but the last couple of issues, where things start pulling back together again, the part with Angel... then Nate... the Wolverine... then Magneto... then Jean... if AOX, is half as awesome, I'm gonna be trippin off happy fumes for many weeks to come.

Uh, not to disagree with your general premise, but a weaker lone member of U-Foes, flayed all of Hulks skin and flesh of by himself! Without the luxury of Sentry having slowed him down, or his friends or Moonstone and Iron Patriot and one member of Forces of Nature and Moonstone, oh and Thor villian Quicksand. Hulk has also been trashed by Iron Man by himself, and even Dr Octopus once.

I'll give it a try in the weekend. Be careful though, Ares actually is usually written much lower than his more famous godly brothers. He doesn't really have anything that matches, Thor or Herc, he does have some call and badass feats though, I'll warm up the scanner.

@blacharrt:  Who is ignoring what is written, and when did that come up? Sounds like a massive presumption on your part.

What writer say are true, but true in what way? This sounds like your earlier lack of understanding, so making up an argument born out of semantics. The english word for blue is blue, not every opinion or truth is relative.

More needless posturing. Hey if the truth is truth, then the lies are lies, but how do we know the truth is the truth? I ask you to think about that? Right? Yeah?  See what I did there?

I dispute your objectivity and already demonstrated why and how.

I clarified the writers opinion and merely held it up next to yours.

lol, truth is the truth, there are no special mediums and people who decide what is true or not. Your still of the opinion that you can gain truths about strength, by characters fighting each other. You used an extremely flawed argument with your Thor Juggernaut example. You think that equates to truth? Its probably more truthful that your just bias and got caught out, but feel that you must always have the last word. I bet because Hulk punched Thor one time, its the truth he is stronger than him huh? Thats not how strength works. Thats how opinions work.

Then your biggest flaw, I am trying to prove that Thor is the strongest? Even like in my second or third post, I made clear that I am not here to prove anything about whose strongest, then thats what I am implying even though i have stated its not? It should be clear that I am just here to prove the guy who has written every feat and created a character, disagrees with you, you can either be okay with that? Writers have opinions that disagree with mine all the time, or if you want, you can try to prove why your opinion has more validity than the guys who made these characters. If you want, i don't care, like I said, people will justify racism, killing, murder, stealing, cheating, anything to enforce their opinions on others as fact.

Weirdly, I tend not to notice art changes on X-factor unless they are really, really jarring. Sorta use to it I guess.

Oh, and I think its Marvels, most consistently good book, that can be a little Madrox heavy at times, but is one of the better balanced team books around. Its fun, witty and full of great character work and touches on some old school, social and political subjects too, sort of like older X-Books use to.

Awh good for you, you have lots, and lots of fun, and excitement and drama ahead. I think a lot of people feel the same about that once they pick up X-Factor. Did you red the Madrox mini as well? It sets up X-Factor. I like M, but fail to think of why right now...  Layla is fun to learn, and actually still kinda confusing now.

Plus yea, it does sorta remind me of Angel. Good luck with the rest of the stories too, I am jealous I can't read them for the first time. I think my favorite story might be in your next TPB.
