He really is! We had to pay 19 bucks extra in order to see him but it was so worth it. Really playful. The volunteer had to hold him and lure him over with toys a few times. Playful little guy. =D

Hehe! He really is. xD His mom is named Nikita. Saw her in a cage while doing the tram tour through the rescue farm. He didn't bite or anything Thunder. He wasn't really supposed to go on people's laps but luckily the volunteer allowed him to stay on mine for a bit. =D

Aw thank you big sis. =D You're always so kind. ^__^ Never knew that wildlife farm existed either. 0.o Always pass it too whenever I'm out. It was really nice seeing him upclose though. Probably a one time experience. =)

@bumpyboo: That is true. =D There was also llamas too! 0.0 Didn't see them up close though. Temporarily they have the llamas fenced in on a sink hole. 0.o Don't think the location of that was smart but they said in July that will be changed.

I don't know where you live but I'd see if there's a wildlife rescue near you that lets you pet tigers. You could actually swim with them too but I'm not into swimming. xD I think the wildlife I went to is only allowing this til July since the cubs by then will be big. If a tiger is 40lbs+ it would be illegal for people to engage in activities with them. Least that's what I was told.

Breaking News: Crazy raccoon lady who has an obsession with cupcakes breaks into wildlife rescue and moves in with a tiger who she has a tea party with. =D

I honestly didn't either. I saw a bunch of other animals but wasn't allowed to record or take pictures. In front of the volunteer and I was a guy who took these pics. There was kangaroos, llamas, buffalos, lions, and turkeys. =D

I know right? 0.0 I'm home now and it appears my animals (three cats and two dogs) smell the tiger. Hopefully that goes away after I take a shower. Was really a fun day though. =D Mom surprised me with that.

@samimista: Na nothing like that round the most rural of rural Scotland lol but I did get to play with monkeys when I was on holiday once and I'v also sat on an elephant

You live in Scotland? =O It seems really awesome there. And wow! 0.0 Sitting on an elephant? That must of been quite the experience! Monkeys are very cute. xD At the wildlife rescue there was Old World Order monkeys who don't make direct eye contact. They'll look at you on the side then glance away real quick.

Does Massachusetts have any wildlife farms or centers? There could be tigers there. People can even swim with them to. 0.0 The cubs that is. People can't interact with the big tigers. D=

Maybe 7/8 I was? I'm 17 now so it's been awhile lol. I think a few years ago the zoo got remodeled though. There's also another state park that has manatees. =D Those are very friendly. Have not pet one but they usually go up close to people. Unfortunately though some have injury from boats.

@samimista: Yep, s'not bad once you get used to the rain lol. I was very little when I sat on the elephant and I can remember being really scared as it was humongous, Yea monkeys are awesome, it was the little black and white ones like in Ace Vantura and it ran up and sat on my shoulder.

Love rain but hate the thunder. xD So scared of it lol. Here it seems to only rain in the summer but rarely does it rain all day. Usually about 20 minutes it rains for. Ace Ventura. That's one of Jim Carrey's best works. =D Always forget about the sequel though. 0.0

@samimista: what's the deal with you and raccoons?

I like a lot of animals but it started out as an inside joke with a friend and I. She posted a picture of a raccoon (forgot what it was exactly doing) and I started to post a lot of pictures of raccoons. First one I uploaded here was one driving a car. Then after that I decided that every week I'd use different animals for profile themes here. First one I did was of a raccoon and right away the 'raccoon lady' stuck as an actual nickname here. xD Never been up close to an actual raccoon though. I think they're cute but you gotta be careful with them.

Yeah, you have a great point. Besides, this cub looks pretty harmless (still bigger than my oldest cat thought). And it would have been a bummer missing this one out. Seriously how can you top that experience?

No actually its a common misconception. White and Black Rhino's are the same color, the White is actually a misinterpretation of the Dutch word Wiet, which means Wide. The term wide refers to the much larger top lip it has when compared to the Black Rhino, which distinguishes it as a grazer rather than a browser.

But that's boring stuff. The Rhino's name was Ellie, and she was friendly, though we were not allowed to feed her too many mints at a time, otherwise she'd have a stomach ache D:

@laflux: Aw. D= About an hour from where I live there's a wildlife park with a hippopotamus who tends to fart a lot and do his business. 0.0 He has his own habitat since he's smelly. He's cute though. =D

Don't be. Tigers instinctively attack Redheads and Gingers on site, so you'd be best staying far away.

LOL! I am laughing hysterically right now as my older sister doesn't realize that this was taken at a wildlife shelter and she thinks that my parents bought me a tiger. XD She says to bring it over to her house lol. I don't even think they're legal to own as pets in FL or anywhere in the states.
