Ben Affleck was the best part of Batman v. Superman, and it's been shown in the past that Affleck is a great writer and filmmaker. He won an Oscar for his Good Will Hunting script alongside cousin Matt Damon, and won best motion picture for 2012's Argo, a great film which he himself directed.

Recently, Patrick Whitesell, the co-CEO of William Morris Endeavour, an agency which represents Affleck, confirmed that Batfleck himself, who was actually a runner up to direct Man of Steel before Snyder himself, has written a script for the solo Batman movie:

“He’s contracted to do at least Justice League [Part] One and Two, so at least three times wearing the cape.” Whitesell added, “There’s a script that he’s written that is a really cool [Batman] idea, so that’s out there as an option.”

Personally, this is exciting news for me as Affleck is a great filmmaker and passionate about the DCEU. It'll be nice to get a standalone movie from such a talented man. He was phenomenal in Batman v. Superman and just getting more of him is exciting.
