To be frank, some of the titles you have on your "to-buy list" aren't worth buying.

If you plan on reading the Red Lantern series, definitely read "Rage of the Red Lanterns!" Amazing

@rulerofthisuniverse: I don't think Vibe, Katana, Team 7, Threshold are worth reading. But you can still try it out and see if you like them. Btw, you put Sword of Sorcery twice.

If money isn't an issue, if I were you, I would not get the titles I listed above and maybe get some Marvel or Vertigo series.

But it's entirely up to you!

@rulerofthisuniverse: For Marvel, I'm currently reading Avengers, All New X-Men, Captain America, Daredevil, Deadpool, Indestructible Hulk, Infinity, Scarlet Spider, Thor God of Thunder, Savage Wolverine and Uncanny X-Men.

Some of these might be hard to get into as a new reader to Marvel. I'll suggest Thor God of Thunder, Scarlet Spider (I started from issue 13 and it's been amazing. Idk about before issue 13, but it's probably still good), and uhhhh Captain America. My favorite part of Marvel is the X-Men portion of its comics but it's hard to get into those without a lot of background info, I think. The 3 I mentioned (Thor, Scarlet, Cap) are great to start with, and hopefully you can branch off. This is all coming from a DC fan like myself!

For Vertigo, I'm only reading The Wake by Scott Snyder. It's a minseries. It's great. It's Scott Snyder. Need I say more?

@batmannflash: Sure, I'll try those out (alongside Daredevil and DD: Yellow). That's pretty much all I'll try from Marvel for now, though. How's Indestructible Hulk? (I sorta like Hulk)

@rulerofthisuniverse: Yeah Daredevil is good but I didn't mention it because you've already read some of it. DD: Yellow is a beautiful story!

Indestructible Hulk is also a good series as well. It's not my favorite (because I don't really care about the Hulk) but it's one of the best Marvel series I'm reading. If you sorta like the Hulk, then I recommend it to you!

If you like Snyder like I do, definitely pick up Batman: Black Mirror. It's a pre-52 story by Scott Snyder with Dick Grayson as Batman. You don't need to read Grant Morrison's run to read it. It's an amazing story and one of my favorite Batman stories.
