Travel Speed:

In the games, Batman is regularly shown as clearing tens of feet horizontally in a single jump, this could be chalked up to game-play mechanics, however, it is validated by the fact that Batman has been shown to be able to (even as a relative rookie) clear eighteen-feet in a single jump before an assailant could even fire a shot:

Blunt-Force:

He can survive falls from extreme heights with little discomfort, though in the former gif his cape seems to slow him down to a degree.

As can be seen above, Batman can withstand extensive punishment from the massively superhuman Bane, being hurled through prison/asylum walls, punched repeatedly etc. and is always able to continue fighting, whether Bane is on Titan, Venom or TN-1.

Note that Bane's strength is so great that he can perform feats such as hurling cars/apcs and crushing boulders:

Even without supplements, Bane's strength allows him to easily lift two wrestlers of similar height and presumably weight (350lb) to Bane and break their necks.

He consistently tanks enormous punishment from other extremely powerful tanks that extend well beyond low-metahuman tier, such as Titan Joker, Solomon Grundy and Killer Croc:

Explosive Damage:

Batman is able to withstand being locked in a metal room with high-powered explosives and survives with absolutely no damage to his person, though his suit (Arkham City) is completely destroyed.

Part Two: Skill

No Caption Provided

Training:

Not a great deal is known about the extent of Arkham Batman's training, but as with most incarnations of Batman, Arkham Batman is an extensively well-trained combatant and seemingly the best in his world, having already honed his skills for years before being trained by Grandmaster Kirigi.

Bruce bested all of Kirigi's students in both stealth and hand to hand combat, even defeating the legendary Lady Shiva before he could receive Kirigi's full tutelage.

Note that Lady Shiva's martial skill is so great that she is regarded as peerless and is shown as being capable of defeating seven far larger, stronger and armed thugs in seconds with utter ease:

No Caption Provided

Yet even during his training period, before he had received actual tutelage from Kirigi and over a decade from what would be considered his prime, Bruce was already her superior, as shown in the above video.

By the time of Arkham City, Batman would be an expert in most forms of martial arts. It should also be noted that Batman was responsible for the training of the entire Bat-family.

Fodder:

Throughout the games, Batman is regularly depicted as being able to demolish large groups of men, be they rough, burly street-thugs, highly trained mercenaries, or elite ninja. Below are some examples:

Batman vs Swarm of thugs:

Batman is able to fight a literal swarm of thugs, only being forced to resort to the use of his taser when the freakishly strong, sledgehammer wielding "Mr Hammer" enters the fray.

Batman vs Joker Thugs:

No Caption Provided

He is able to easily defeat eight large thugs with a smile.

Bruce Wayne vs The League of Assassins:

Unarmed, unarmoured and unprepared, Bruce is able to dispatch many armed and highly trained members of the League of Shadows, easily defeating four at once before clearing an entire building of them with apparent ease.

Batman/Bruce Wayne vs Goons without looking:

Note that the second image takes place immediately after the aforementioned explosion.

Batman vs Tyger Soldiers:

Batman is consistently able to easily dismantle waves of Tyger troops, who are far from generic fodder, being well-equipped and having trained for a year with the sole purpose of defeating Batman, learning his tactics, skills, arsenal and so on:

Skilled-combatants:

As noted, Bruce was able to defeat Lady Shiva as an initiation trial, before his training was even complete, this in itself is incredible, but there are a number of other highly skilled combatants that Batman has fought. First I will give an overall rundown of the abilities of each character, then describe how they were almost all soundly defeated by Batman.

Deathstroke:

Linked is anon-canonical (as it doesn't fit within the Origins timeline) depiction of a fight between Deathstroke and Batman. While non-canon, I do believe it gives a sound depiction of both characters' extreme technical skill and overall abilities.

Deathstroke is a categorical metahuman and the world's greatest assassin. His skill and speed is such that he has been shown to easily run straight at a group of armed men and demolish them:

No Caption Provided

Is depicted as being considerably stronger than Batman, tearing off bolted vents with even greater ease:

No Caption Provided

And is able to easily defeat Tim Drake/Robin with little issue, and subsequently handle both Tim and Dick Grayson/Nightwing, seemingly without distress:

It must be noted that Robin is himself an extremely capable fighter, being able to demolish groups of fodder and defeat Harley Quinn:

And defeat multiple highly trained LoA Ninjas with contemptuous ease:

No Caption Provided

While little is seen of Nightwing outside of gameplay mechanics, it is reasonable to assume he is at least as capable as Tim, more than likely being superior due to years more service as a vigilante.

Despite Slade's metahuman stats and impressive skill, he is no match for Batman. Even subdued, surprised and hanging upside down Batman is able to quickly dismantle Deathstroke's attack and disarm him:

No Caption Provided

Most of the subsequent fight is then shown via gameplay, but it ends with Batman defeating Deathstroke decisively with little injury and continuing to fight for the rest of the night (this occurs early in the story). Batman, even this early in his career, is so astonishing that the world's greatest assassin can barely believe he is human:

Ra's Al Ghul:

Ra's Al Ghul is the leader of the League of Shadows and has nearly six-hundred years of experience in battle, being revered by his followers as a God, so capable that he considers only Bruce Wayne a worthy successor.

Yet Batman is able to defeat him even when Ra's (fresh from the pit) utilised potent illusions of unknown origin:

Ra's proved his skill when, fresh from the pit, he easily fodderised his daughter, Nyssa Al Ghul, the leader of a large faction of the League in a "Shadow War" against her father, yet he still proved no match for Batman, being almost instantly disarmed by the Caped Crusader:

No Caption Provided

Bane:

Batman fought Bane multiple times over the years, but Bane was by far at his most skilled in Arkham Origins, when he was able to fodderise three wrestlers of equal or greater size than himself:

Yet Batman, after already fighting for hours against the likes of Deathstroke, was able to force him to resort to using Titan to defeat him, yet Bane still couldn't best him:

Harley Quinn:

Harley Quinn is a highly skilled combatant, as shown before, she is able to give Robin trouble as well as having decimated fodder in impressive displays of skill, speed and agility:

Despite this, she is essentially a non-factor to Batman, being utterly fodderised each time they fight:

Batsuit:

Batman's latest batsuit is more mechanised than his earlier suits, this armour provides superior protection. However, the V8.03 is also lightweight and allows Batman to move at incredible speeds. The Batsuit also includes a cape, which can be used for gliding, or as a defence against bullets:

The Batsuit also houses Batman's detective mode which has a variety of uses, whether it's fingerprint scanning, infra-red vision or temperature scanning:

The batsuit has also been shown to include:

Batarangs:

Batman wields multiple types of Batarangs, including regular Batarangs, with which he has shown great skill, being able to take down up to four armoured individuals simultaneously:

In addition, his sonic batarangs have been shown to render even highly trained combatants ineffective and in extreme pain:

Below, Luke survives being hit by an RPG blast. He is briefly knocked out but suffers no permanent damage as a result of the explosion or debris:

Thus far, the only weapon to harm Luke are the Judas bullets, which are derived from a material found after the Chitauri invasion. It is able to pierce Luke's outer layers of skin, drill a little deeper and then explode, sending debris into his body. Luke was hit twice by these bullets, once in the gut and once in the shoulder, the main issue for him is not the damage these bullets cause, but that, due to his invulnerability, these bullets cannot be extracted by traditional means. These bullets are extremely powerful.

Jesus Respect Thread

One of my favourite, and definitely the most capable character thus far in Robert Kirkman's, 'The Walking Dead'.

We'll start at the beginning. In his very first speaking appearance in issue #92, Jesus takes on both Michonne and Abraham simultaneously. They have both been shown to be high tier fighters in, 'The Walking Dead'.

Melee Skills:

No Caption Provided

Jesus defeats both Michonne & Abraham unarmed:

Jesus takes on the dynamic duo and wins.

In scans 1 - 3 he effortlessly disarms Michonne, a feat not performed by anybody before or since. Bear in mind that until this point, she was essentially the combat don of the series, Kirkman had previously stated that she was the strongest character in the series. Abraham is a trained soldier and veteran, and also one of the series toughest characters.

After being briefly taken aback by Michonne in scans 4 - 5 Sgt. Abraham Ford [a proven marksman of considerable ability] fires upon him, but Jesus is capable of aim-dodging his fire and getting to cover.

In the remainder of this piece, he utilises stealth on the duo to avoid gunfire and goes on decimates the two in a brief hand to hand spar, showcasing his agility through mid-air kicks and leg sweeps.

Bear in mind that they are trying to kill him, but he does all of this while trying not to harm them at all.

Jesus vs Walkers:

Next we see him take on multiple walkers with his hands tied behind his back in issue #94.

Lots of kicks and lots of agility. While we are yet to discover just what type of training Jesus has, scans like these show he is clearly a refined combatant.

Jesus vs more walkers

In issue #103 we see Jesus tango with more walkers.

Not particularly impressive, but he demonstrates a lot of technical skill.

Jesus vs Saviors

Another display of hand to hand combat appears in issue #104. After stealthily following Dwight through Washington [a feat we'll get back to later], Jesus is set upon by John, Tara (Negan's foremost lieutenants) and an unnamed savior.

Note that on scan 1 the position Jesus is stood in, he is clearly supposed to have proficient in some relatively esoteric martial-arts.

He quickly floors John, a behemoth of a man, dodges strikes against him and is seemingly doing well in the fight, despite using only his bagpack as a weapon. Unfortunately, he is blindsided by Tara and gets taken down.

Jesus vs Negan + Saviors

Probably my favourite of Jesus' combat feats occurs in issue #114. Here we see him easily dispose of multiple foes with a combination of hand to hand and gunpower.

First of all we get to see the infamous Jesus kick.

Next, he defeats Negan. Now let's just put this into perspective, not only is Negan a man-mountain and the main antagonist of the story at this point, but he also put a beat down on the series protagonist, Rick Grimes in hand to hand combat, literally grabbing his fist out of mid air and would go on to get the better of Beta, who makes the enormous Negan look small. And let's not forget that here, Negan is surrounded by over a dozen of his own men, Jesus is fast and skilled enough to take down 3 of Negan's men and Negan himself before most people can even get their bearings. Makes you wish Jesus had been around to help in issue #100.

Jesus takes a hostage to get into the Savior base

Here, in issue #118 Rick uses Jesus as the guy to infiltrate a major savior encampment. This takes place directly after the, 'Jesus kicks an armed opponent' feat above.

Jesus is Rick's X-factor. Tough situation? Send Jesus in. He's Rick's secret weapon and here we see why, he takes this guy hostage and proceeds to defeat the first few guys inside with his gun.

Jesus takes down an armed opponent:

Next, in the midst of war, Jesus shows he is fast and skilled enough to kick a gun out of an opponents hands.

This may be less impressive if he had grabbed his wrist/gun, but the time it must have taken him to reach the gunman and perform such an elaborate move before the gunman could pull the trigger really displays his speed and agility.

Jesus vs Whisperers:

In #134 we see Jesus fighting several Whisperers and walkers simultaneously, displaying his skill and speed with his sword:

Jesus vs Whisperers 2:

In issue #173 Jesus easily defeats three Whisperers at the same time:

No Caption Provided

Note how he is able to kick his opponent's knife into their own head and without missing a beat, throw his own knife into another opponent's head. Aside from anything else, this is just badass.

In the same issue, Jesus fights Beta, a character who seems to be around 7' tall, and has the initial advantage of surprise:

Note how Jesus was dodging Beta's attack without even looking at one point, and was only seriously pressed because he thought Aaron was going to die. Also note how surprisingly fast Beta was despite his size (later revealed to be because he was a former basketball player).

Speed and Agility:

I'm not going to go over speed (i.e. Jesus aim-dodging Abraham) or agility feats already mentioned here.

Jesus throws back a grenade:

Here we see Jesus hurl back a grenade flung over the wall of the Alexandria Safe zone in issue #120.

He was the only individual who was capable of such a feat.

Now onto displays of his agility and reflexes

Jesus catches a spear

In issue #111, Jesus easily catches a spear thrown at him by Kal and snaps it.

It is worth noting that Kal was a watchman at the Hilltop and had been shown to be proficient in the use of spears. Kal throws this within a couple of metres of Jesus and yet Jesus is still fast enough to catch it, seemingly without much issue.

Jesus' impressive leap

In issue #113, Jesus perform an impressive leap/roll, showcasing his agility.

Note how much further ahead than Aaron he is after the leap.

Jesus' other impressive leap:

No Caption Provided

Jesus is also noteworthy for his stealth abilities, shown on many occasions.

Jesus' stealth

Jesus is also noteworthy for his abilities in stealth, which he has demonstrated on multiple occasions.

Scan 1 shows Jesus breaking into both the Alexandria safe zone as well as Rick's house and bedroom in #106.

Scan 2 shows Jesus has managed to sneak past the Hilltop watchmen on many occasions.

Scans 3 - 10 are from issue #103 and show him following Dwight. Negan's right hand man.

Jesus' escapology

Jesus has twice shown himself to be a master escapologist, both times are shown below.

Essentially, respect Jesus. Or he'll kick your ass.
