Shocktober Fest: X-men vs Vampires

In the wake of October I'll be celebrating the appearances of classic monsters in comics as well as the mainstream media. The X-men being one of Marvels bigger franchises has graced us with the canon that is vampires in such arcs as Curse of the Mutants and The Curse is Broken. The X-men have faced many threats and monsters alike, ranging from Krakoa to the malevolent Sinister. However these undead have placed an impact on the group that surely will never be forgotten.
It all started in Uncanny X-men #159, when the All New, All Different team first encountered The Prince of Darkness himself. Dracula had become infactuated with the team's (then) leader, Storm. Wanting to possess her will for his own Dracula bit Ororo and almost suceeded in his plans. In his tussel with the team, he shows just how formidable he can be.
It wasn't until Storm resisted his grasp (with help from Kitty) that Dracula's plans began to crumble. This would only lead to a standstill between the two, up until Dracula threaten a human life. This moment is a clear revisitation of the X-men's view on the value of human life. Though Storm defeated him morally, this was just the beginning of an unbreakable bond that will haunt the team forever.
This wasn't the end of the tyranny of the bloodsuckers. The X-men later find out just how deadly the process of vampirism can as some of their most beloved members become one of the undead.
This event warranted the attention of Blade, giving us one badass scene against the vampires. Along with Dracula's staring contest with Cyke.
And the deaths of numerous vampires.
The events of Curse of the Mutants still to this day hold an impact on certain characters. Most notable Jubilee, who had to leave the team in order to understand her new vampiric lifestyle. One of my favorite scenes occured during the later Curse is Broken arc. In another attempt to save Jubilee, this team found themselves in a wake of an ambush led by a team of vamps called, The Forgiven. This group of vampires were not your typical bunch but their main motto is to protect their own. In this case, Jubilee. The X-men ,ironically, were there to for the same objective.
During this encounter, Jubilee is put to the test by Lord Deathstrike and he seems to be more than a match for her.(despite her her vampire abilities) Though even for a beginner, Jubilee holds her own and gains the upperhand thanks to her durability and endurance.
Jubilee later embraces her new lifestyle and learns to use it to her advantage in times of need. With the X-men's support, she's been able to live a somewhat normal lifestyle with her new son, Shogo. Yes a happy ending now for the X-men, but the window of opportunity is still open for these undead to make a return. So what are some of your favorite bloodsucking moments?
Fun Fact: The disease known as Porphyria, gives some of it's victims vampiric features such as hairiness, red skin (due to blistering) and sensitivity to sunlight.
