@a88378438 I never stated the weight nor mass of the Neutron star, but an analogy of a Neutron star's density. Besides, that scan never said Thor was resisting a Neutron star -- just forces similar to one.
And about the earth's weight, earth doesn't have a set weight, as weight is a function of gravity. You should know that the Earth is in constant free fall as it orbits around the sun, so it weighs nothing. The only thing you can calculate about the earth it's MASS, which then a theoretical weight can be given. Just sayin.
Wow. I've read this debate from beginning to end and initially I went with Thor, but there has been visual evidence of WW's feats that are even comparable to Thor's feats. But it'd be better if there weren't any "ifs" involved, they really don't matter; If a chicken had lips, it could whistle right? As of now I'd say the gap is pretty close from what's been shown, albeit I'm still leaning more towards Thor. It would be nice to see some more contemporary Thor feats, if this is current Thor being compared, but the feat with Thor resisting gravitational forces similar to a Neutron star was impressive. I read that a Neutron star's density is the equivalent of the entire human population (7 billion) compressed to the size of a sugar cube, Good Lord lol
Yeah, I was REALLY disappointed when I found out they ended Daken. I fell in love with him from the beginning (curse those pheromones! lol). They were going all over the place with Daken and had no clear direction of where to go with him it seems. Daken was so insidious and would do nearly anything to get what he wanted (he's so cunning), I just love his cockiness and arrogance when he fights. Absolutely loved his quarrel with Skaar, especially the mind games he played with him. But the way he was able to sedate Skaar blew my mind...lol...enough of my fangasm, I honestly loved Daken. But Marvel, Y U NO do Daken/Winter Soldier fight?
@King Saturn Well put, Captain Planet was indeed overestimated in that post.
Also, another thing to look at is Planet's, power of the Heart. If such a power is psychologically based as you stated, then said ability wouldn't affect the Hulk so easily.
For Example (in scan below): Professor X attempts to sedate the Hulk using telepathy and fails, even stating that he "can't overcome" the Hulk's rage.
Much like with the Sentry, it'd take quite a bit of one's life force to sedate the Hulk, it took everything the Sentry had to calm down Bruce. But no way is CP above the Silver Surfer when it comes to matter manipulation, Surfer's manipulation nearly knows no limits, he can bend matter to his wills and desires. There's not enough evidence to say CP's manipulation abilities are superior when they've never been proven in intense situations like Surfer's has...I digress...back to issue at hand, I love Planet but this one definitely goes to Hulk.
