The Walking Dead Season 7 Premier Trailer Review

I might have not expressed my favoritism towards The Walking Dead to some of you but this is absolutely one out of three of my favorite TV shows of all time. I wasn't able to finish catching up with the comic but this trailer surely pushes to to do so.

In this trailer we see some new faces, Negan behind the bat (i'm pretty sure he's still an asshole) and finally a new character to idolize. Presenting to you, Ezekiel (and of course his tiger)!

Like any other fans, this got me excited as gjok. I'll be looking forward to this.

I'll let you digest this one heck of a news for now.

My Personal Views: Frank Cho vs Greg Rucka

No Caption Provided

Before I start off, I should state that I am a fan of both artist's works. This blog wouldn't be about who's better or who's right but what I personally think about this whole mess. I'd try to keep my point straight and get on with it so if anyone disagrees or gets pissed off by this blog, don't bother putting it on the comments anymore. Let's keep it clean in here. ^_^

No Caption Provided

Now, everyone knows that Wonder Woman and the comic book industry is prone to over-sexualizing and I think that, after all these years it has become a part of it (not exactly but at least one way or another). Although I get sick of it, I think there is nothing to whine about something like the cover above.

Greg Rucka's comments have been sounding like political agendas more than an artist's comment on another. I think he has used the word vulgar in the wrong way since there is clearly no vulgar about the art you see. Although the variants can be too much for some people, there was no need to call anything about Cho's Wonder Woman art vulgar.

He could've been more chill about it and possibly talked Cho from making the variants less "vulgar". I see that Rucka's blood has been boiling for some time now that he just let it all out on Cho, making him leave (although it was mostly Cho's choice).

So to summarize this all, both of them (Rucka for the most part) could've work it all out instead of bashing each other's heads with their fans on their sides. Hopefully, we'd be seeing Cho on Wonder Woman again in the future since I honestly don't see any vulgarity in any of the official cover (hence the variants for other titles like Spider-Gwen) and that he sure draws Wonder Woman as fine as hell.

Cheers.

Rocket's Song Of The Day #4

Diary - Angels and Airwaves

This has to be one of my favorite feel good song. It's hard to say but, this is probably the best underrated song Angels and Airwaves ever released. It might be a burden for some of you to listen to something like an 8-minute song but I tell you, it's worth it.

Before finishing this blog, I'd like to dedicate this song to my good friend @darkdetective27 who has been going through a lot lately. This should make you feel a bit better bro.....

Rocket's Song Of The Day #3

What's up! It's been a while since my last blog and hopefully I'll be posting dem blogs again soon. For today, I got something special from Dinosaur-Jr. This was from their 2012 album, I Bet On Sky. The song just has this "I can do this and screw everything" feel to it. I'm not sure if I'm getting my point straight but if you don't get me, watch the music video and have a blast! Now I gotta finish some deadlines while listening to this song.

Cheers!

Five Things I'd like to see in Deadpool 2

My original plan was to put up this blog before G_Man does but alas he has posted the article first but anyways here it goes.......

(Cue Music)

1. Dem Schizophrenia

No Caption Provided

It would be epic to see text boxes everywhere throughout the movie. Whether it's Deadpool's cravings or his first impression of Domino the writers can't and should not miss this out.

2. Polverine

No Caption Provided

Wolverine! The guy who Deadpool likes to mock can again, be a great addition to the movie. Why? Because he's Wolverine! Whether it's an action scene along Cable or a comedic scene with Deadpool, Wolverine is the guy. I'm not sure if they'll consider him but it could work out right? I could just imagine Cable, Deadpool and Wolverine together beating the mcsh*t against whatever they'll be fighting. Now that's hype worthy.

3. More Inappropriateness

I'm not saying that the previous movie lacked it but there is no need for any sex montages here anymore so instead they could do it like in the comics. Whether it's a fantasy or a completely random thing, it should be here.

4. Chimichanga/Pancake eating montage

No Caption Provided

Sure Wade's love for chimichangas were expressed in the movie but we never saw it! In the next movie, I'd like to see Wade eat a sh*t ton of chimichangas. I don't care how cheesy or amateurish it might look but it should be here no matter what!

5. Domino

No Caption Provided

Since Cable's gonna be here, who doesn't want to see Domino? Domino could be a great addition to the movie because there's a good chemistry between her and Deadpool.

Deadpool 2 Is Already In The Works!!

I was really really happy to see this several minutes ago. You absolutely don't know how hyped I am to see this article confirming that Deadpool 2 will have Cable in it. How friggin awesome is that? If there's Cable, then it also means there's Domino! @_@

Tell me what you think down below. :-D

In case you hadn't noticed, Deadpool is getting quite a bit of buzz. Critics have been giving it positive reviews the last few days, raising its profile, and right now it looks like the comic book movie could make as much as $70 million in its first weekend. So you know what that means... it's sequel time!

The Hollywood Reporter has gotten word from its sources that 20th Century Fox is already very eager for more Deadpool action, and have apparently given Deadpool 2the green light behind closed doors. As you probably could have guessed, Ryan Reynolds will be back in the titular role, and the trade says that Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick - producers on the film and the only writers to work on the script - will be taking care of the screenplay.

If the trade's sources are correct, that's three big and important names being brought back for Deadpool 2, but the big question mark of the moment seems to be surrounding director Tim Miller. The filmmaker signed on to make the first Deadpoolmovie all the way back in April 2011, but apparently is not contracted for a follow-up. That being said, the report says that Fox is eager to keep the four key players together, so Miller will probably be back in the director's chair again.

Story-wise, there really is an incredible number of directions that Deadpool 2 can go in - as he has been a character consistently featured in Marvel Comics for decades (on beyond his own series, which passed 250 issues last year). One popular option that fans have been clamoring for would be to see him as part of a team-up film - specifically X-Force:

If you wanted to make X-Force as a completely separate project, however, there would also be the option of simply making Deadpool 2 as Deadpool & Cable - a buddy movie that features the Merc With The Mouth teaming up with/annoying the piss out of Cable, an incredibly powerful mutant from the future who also happens to be Cyclops' son. The studio could always follow Deadpool & Cable with X-Force,given that Cable was the original leader of the team.

Right now we don't have any firm details about the story direction for Deadpool 2, or when 20th Century Fox has plans to release it, but we will be hungrily waiting for it. In the meantime, what do you want to see from the Deadpool sequel? Leave your thoughts in the comments below!

Rocket's Song of the Day #2

This is probably one of the most epic performances I've seen this year. Well this was back from 2014 and I completely regret not seeing this. I felt like I was in one of those Twilight Zone episodes when I scrolled down to see the date. So my current favorite song is "Pompeii" by Bastille and I've been looking for Rudimental's song called "Waiting All Night" for about three years now and this video just completely made my day. The energy, charisma and the passion are one of the few reasons why this performance is just amazing. If you don't know what I'm talking about, watch the video and enjoy. ^_^

Are Human Beings The Neediest Intelligent Life Form In The Universe?

No Caption Provided

Here's why:

  • We need to eat at least two times a day.
  • We always need to drink water or else we'll die.
  • We need at least 7 hours of sleep or else we'll be prone to things like anemia.
  • We need to eat healthy food or else we'll become unhealthy.
  • Infants need to drink a sh*t ton of milk until they turn 3 or 4 years old.
  • We need good relationships to keep us from depression.
  • We need hobbies to keep us away from boredom.
  • Some of us need money in order to become happy.
  • We need to exercise our brain so our brain cells won't die.

This list doesn't even cover half the things we need. I'm just curious if we really are the neediest intelligent life form in the universe. I'm pretty sure other intelligent life forms in the universe aren't as needy as us. Tell me what you think......

Rocket's Song Of the Day #1

It's Sunday and I pretty much don't know what to do. Sure procrastination is always there on my list but what should be my goal for the day? I honestly don't care and I don't think it matters since it's the weekend (kinda defeats the purpose of my opening line :P). So I went to Youtube and played this AMAZING song from the Pixies called "Where is My Mind" and sat down with my guitar on my lap (such an accomplishment!) and enjoyed the song. I honestly can listen to this song for more than five times straight. That's just how epic this

Black Francis composed this song while he was attending University of Massachusetts Amherst so it must have something to do with procrastination. I'm pretty damn sure it is! The laid back tune of the song just wants to make you procrastinate more so if you're studying for your finals or for your SATs don't listen to this song or generally to any Pixies songs! I recommend listening to this when you're just around chilling and looking back at your "accomplishments" for the day.

Shout out to my fellow music blogger @thedandyman
