@life_without_progress: ~shrugs~ Men and women intending to pursue any romantic commitment have to cut their teeth sometime, and it's better to figure all of the s*** out when you're an adolescent than when you're 42 and sporting Spock ears in your parents' basement, expecting the object of your affections to behave like a Hollywood stereotype of a man or woman.

I would have offered Colossus since he has the soul of an artist, and even when he's exhausted, a lack of rigidity isn't a problem... But then he put on the Juggernaut helmet, which made him look completely ridiculous. How about Luke Cage, then? He won't jet if one of his little swimmers makes it down the creek; he has a strong work ethic, and even a steady government job, and he's very secure and unthreatened in his masculinity: did you see what he wore in the 70s and 80s?

@deathstroke1982: I'm the crown prince of dorks. They pick me because I'm the oldest and most experienced, though I generally have no clue. In the real world, I try to avoid human contact.

@rouflex: I'm old enough to remember The Tomorrow People, but I gotta go with the classics, which was popular enough to spurn the later incarnation.

I'm good at retaining trivial information that is absolutely useless in all other facets of my life; sometimes at writing, and at mowing lawns.
