/ My Favourite Villain of the Atom
/ - Dean Mayland
Some of these villains suck like wizardo and the panther. Iron mask looks like a rip off of chameleon
@ravenvice01 - Yeah, Atom's not got the best Rogues Gallery, lol. Tbh, I don't really know why I made this list as I really had to stretch to fill the 10 places XD And yeah, Ion Mask looks a lot like Chameleon and is no where near as good a character as him (although I'd like to see him return, but reinvented).
I'm trying to come up with a fantastic four film that has mole man and Namor as a villian/anti-hero but I'm trying to fill in the gaps like maybe Attuma, krang or dr. Doom. What do you think?
@ravenvice01 - I'd definitely use Doom, and maybe Attuma (at a stretch) but I'd leave Krang for the Namor film
@riddlersriddle: thank you for making that decision. Sometimes it's moments like these I need someone else to help do a tie breaker. What do you think about including the marquis of death. He is instrumental in Doom's origin and he hates reed Richards. He is kinda like the emperor and Doom is Vader
@ravenvice01 - Hmmm. You could use him, but I feel like his relationship with Doom echoes too much of what we've already seen with the Sith in Star Wars (although they are still different, it's still too similar). Plus I feel like Doom should be the ultimate FF villain, above Galactus and Annihilus (even though I prefer him to Doom) and that him having a former master and actually having to bow down to someone in his life (even though he defeats him) is just a bit weird. Just my thoughts though. Also, I feel like he works better as an X-Men Villain, because he's a mutant after all
@riddlersriddle: I didn't know that about marquis of death being a mutant. Does he have history with the X-Men being a villain?
I'm wondering because I have a movie in mind with Diablo and Dr. Doom batting heads with one another and the marquis of death is the reason for it. It would be the supernatural vs science. What do you think? Nicholas Scratch would have a role naturally. However, should I make dr. Doom a reluctant ally in this movie or just a villain?
@ravenvice01 - He's never been a villain of the X-Men, but he was the only mutant in his dimension. I feel like you could turn him quite easily into an X-Men villain because of that though
I really like the idea about the Supernatural Vs Science, it'd be amazing to see on the big screen (or in a comic). I'd make Doom a reluctant ally in the film, but, ultimately, have him betray the team
@riddlersriddle: good twist about Doom but an even better twist would be Valeria Richards turning the tables on Doom and having the devil claim Doom's soul kinda like in the comics
Ok what book would you recommend for Bug-Eyes Bandit? Also Floronic Man is surely a Swamp Thing villain right?
@guru_crack - Honestly, bug Eyed Bandit is a chump. Seriously, he's just so stupid. But that's why I kinda like him. He's just so over the top stupid, it's brilliant, lol. As for recommended reading, there isn't really any really good stories but his first appearance: Atom #26 is a fun read (I read it a few months back) and Bug Eyed Bandit actually manages to find out Palmer is the Atom (although he forgets it by the end of the issue because of his own mistake). Other than that, I've only read him in cameos
And yeah, Floronic Man is a Swamp Thing villain but he's also a frequent villain of the Atom
@ravenvice01 - Yeah, that'd work plus you could use really good effects on the big screen :)
@riddlersriddle: Villain of Swamp Thing and The Atom, that is indeed odd haha. O right so Bug-Eyes Bandit recommended reading is essentially don't bother he's a joke character like Condiment King.
@guru_crack - He's a much better character than Condiment King, but yeah, it's best not to bother really, lol
@riddlersriddle: I may come across at some point in the future. He did look like a goofy character the when I saw his outfit and then the name should of gave it away haha.
@riddlersriddle: thank you for your help. I will develop the lists for you to enjoy and critique.
Right now I'm stuck on my last fantastic four film. It has mad thinker, puppet master quasimodo the awesome android and modulus the quiet man but I need at least two more villains. Do have any ideas? I'm considering having taskmaster related to puppet master and Alicia masters in some fashion. What do you think?
@ravenvice01 - Maybe you could get Molecule Man in there somewhere? Or Crucible? Just suggestions
@riddlersriddle: I'm considering blending the beholder with molecule man. Crucible could play a role with Kang the conqueror
@ravenvice01 - Do you mean Beyonder? If so, that'd work.
@riddlersriddle: sorry my spell checker screwed up. Also I apologize for not getting the lists out to you sooner. Things came up. Do you think puppet master and taskmaster should related in order to make it more dynamic?
@ravenvice01 - It could work really well, but you'd have to have a lot of time with the 2 characters
@riddlersriddle: very true. Taskmaster can be utilized in more than one movie like Loki but the puppet master dynamic would be an emotional one. The roster would be Puppet Master/ Taskmaster/ Quicksand: Sharon Ventura/ Wizard/ Modulus: Quiet Man/ Trapster. I'm not entirely sold on making Sharon a watered down version of Sandman. What do you think?
