Does Not Compute

robots, Robots, ROBOTS. Huh, doesn't even seem like a word anymore. Comics have no shortage of mechanical men and women and I really could fill this whole list with androids, robots, etc. as there are probably thousands of the guys but I thought it'd be interesting to have a shot at ranking my top ten favourite robots in comics. So without further ado here's my favourite magnificent machines!

List items

  • 1). An incredibly smart, strong and insane alien scientist who can shrink cities, take on Superman and has a badass skull ship. What's not to love? Brainiac is one of the most influential villains in comics and is still a major player in DC today despite debuting 61 years ago, plus he's the reason we have the word 'Brainiac'!

  • 2). I suppose you could say this is cheating as he technically debuted as a toy but I'm making an exception for Starscream as I just think he's an extremely interesting and fun character who doesn't get the love he deserves.

  • 3). Possibly the second most iconic character on this list, Ultron is a staple villain of Marvel and is quite simply a brilliant character who's earned his place as one of Marvel's top characters.

  • 4). Having recently started reading Saga, IV instantly became one of my favourite characters simply because of his great design. His personality is also pretty interesting with his anger at those insulting war heroes and him quickly changing from calm to furious within seconds.

  • 5). Honestly I was never really a massive fan of Vision but within the last month or so he's really grown on me and made me want to read more about him.

  • 6).

  • 7).

  • 8).

  • 9).

  • 10).
