Batman IV : Crime and Punishment (My DC Film Universe)

  • Plot Points: Gorilla Boss commits suicide near the end of the film as he doesn't want to live his life as a Dollotron. Pyg and Two-Face go to Arkham, Leslie opens her Crime Alley centre, and Croc goes to Blackgate.

  • After losing Harvey Dent (A valuable ally and one of his closest friends) to his split-personality of Two-Face, Bruce has been determined to find him and recover the once loving and honourable Harvey Dent. However, after 3 years since Dent's scarring, he has returned to Gotham to create a haven for others with physical defects who have been shunned by society...

  • 3 Years after his scarring by Black Mask, Dent has returned and is chained by Two-Face's vanity. Setting out to destroy Gotham's elite and create a new one, built upon a foundation of "freaks" like himself. Setting out to also punish the elite who tried to shunned him by trying to "destroy his beauty" by using plastic surgery, Two-face begins to kill off prominent Gotham plastic surgeons and figures of "beauty" and killing many during several attacks on Gotham. However, Dent knows that his father was the true root of his "ugliness" (Two-Face persona) but Two-Face is lashing out at Gotham rather than accepting his father's death. Batman must help Dent overcome Two-Face and help him come to terms with himself, by destroying Two-Face...

  • After having trained with Batman for 2 years now, Dick has matured and feels like he's ready to start venturing solo more. Seeing that Dick is incredibly capable, Bruce allows Dick to occasionally go on small jobs, letting him feel what it's like to fly solo. Dick is also made to work with Selina in fighting the False Facers, with Dick seeing Selina as sort of a "big sister". Dick must not only help stop Two-Face and the False Facers but also get his brooding mentor to allow him to go off and maybe start a team of his own....

  • Selina, having now dabbled in the crime-fighting affair, decides to help her lover by dealing with the remaining members of the False Facers whilst Batman deals with Two-Face.

  • Having been close friends with Harvey, Jim is distraught when Dent returns as a deranged psychopath. Knowing that there is still some good in him, Jim urges Batman to destroy Two-Face and save Harvey.

  • Alfred isn't a fan of Bruce and Dick's crime-fighting careers which put their lives at risk but he understands that they must recover Harvey Dent from Two-Face.

  • Having lost control over a large amount of Gotham's gangs, Penguin has been forced into hiding. However, the arrival of Two-Face provides a new business opportunity for Oswald. Allying himself with Two-Face (Who views Oswald as a fellow "freak"), Penguin regains control over a few more gangs by showing just how ruthless and efficient the Penguin is...

  • Waylon Jones was born with a genetic mutation which resulted in scale-like skin and razor-sharp claws and teeth. Living with his neglectful aunt, he attempted to scrub the scales off but it caused him immense pain. Waylon was relentlessly bullied as a child and even physically abused by his aunt. However, Waylon was friends with a one-armed police officer called Hoolihan who saw great promise in Waylon and would help him build his self-confidence. Waylon later went on to wrestle crocodiles in travelling circuses as The Killer Croc but this career path provided no joy to him and he was severely underpaid and mistreated, resulting in him biting the arm of off the circus' owner. During the period, Waylon developed a more reptilian look but still his mutation was not finished. Croc then became a thug for Penguin but this resulted in him being sent to Blackgate for several years after a job went wrong. Finally being released from Blackgate, Croc has been sought out by Two-Face to join his new society of "freaks". Waylon sees this as both an opportunity to show the world what he's made of and a new job much more fitting for his intelligence...

  • Leslie Thompkins was a close friend and co-worker of Thomas and Martha Wayne who consoled Bruce when she learnt of their murder. Leslie often helped raise Bruce with Alfred Pennyworth and had a brief-romantic relationship with Alfred before she travelled to North Africa to set up medical-camps. Leslie has finally returned to Gotham and her medical skill couldn't be more needed....

  • Leading the False Facers, Professor Pyg (Real name and origin unknown) is just as twisted as Black Mask, his former leader. Now in control of the False Facers, Pyg has overhauled Sionis' previous intentions of "Revealing everyone's true faces". Pyg performs twisted surgeries on people, intending to turn them into his "Dollotrons", his idea of perfection. Whilst Batman battles Two-Face, Pyg has to deal with Catwoman & Robin...

  • Garfield Lynns grew up in an orphanage but was unable to be adopted due to his history of pyromania, something which stemmed from a supposed attack from his father (Although this is uncertain) which resulted in Garfield killing him. Lynns later went to work as a prestigious special-effects expert for major Hollywood projects, becoming the best in the business. However, Lynns was fired after burning the lead-actress on a film set when he tried to recreate "the angels in the fire" (Lynns believes he sees beautiful angel-like women in the fire, which causes his depraved obsession with the flames). Wanting to be with the flames always, Lynns becomes the Firefly - A deranged arsonist who wears a "firefly" protective suit. Lynns attracted the attention of Black Mask, who soon welcomed him into the False Facers. Only being loyal to those who promise him chaos, Firefly now works with Professor Pyg...

  • Gilda Dent was distraught when Harvey went missing and had to raise their child without them knowing their father, whom she loved deeply. When he returned to Gotham, Gilda desperately sought him out and tried to convince him to see that Harvey is still inside him and to come home. However, Two-Face hits her with the barrel of his gun despite Harvey's protests. {End of film} - Having Harvey regained a bit more control over Two-Face, he lets Gilda visit him if Dent wins the coin-flip on the day.

  • Black Mask, despite being in Arkham, soon gets swift news of Two-Face's return to Gotham. Sionis revels in the fact that he was the one who revealed Dent's "true-face" and hopes to one day meet up with his "best work" (Two-Face). {End of film} - When Two-Face arrives in Arkham, Sionis meets up with him claiming they "Have much to discuss"..

  • Wearing a Gorilla ballroom-style mask, George Dyke is a member of the False Facers who is loyal to Black Mask and his beliefs. When Pyg takes over the gang, Dyke protests and tries to kill Professor Pyg. In response to this, Pyg turns Dyke into one of his Dollotrons.

  • Lucius still designs tech for Batman and has caught on about Bruce's identity, although he has yet to let this on.

  • Jeremiah has become suspicious to Batman after the sudden appearance of his new assistant.

  • {Not directly seen} Fright has gone missing and the sudden appearance of Jeremiah Arkham's new assistant, Alyce Sinner, prompt suspicions in the Dark Knight's mind. However, he must push these aside for the time and focus on the threat at hand.

  • The sudden appearance of Alyce Sinner (Jeremiah Arkham's new assistant) and disappearance of Fright causes suspicions for the Batman. Alyce appears to be a meek Asylum employee, but there is much more to her than meets the eye...

  • Holly gives Selina information about Professor Pyg's whereabouts which she learned through her "night-time activities" with a member of the False Facers.

  • The daughter of Harvey and Gilda Dent, Duela was raised without knowing her father when he went missing when she was 13 (Now aged 16).

  • The new Kingpin of Gotham, Scarface is impressed by Penguin's determination but intends to keep his place as "top-dog".

  • Vulture and Fox are nearly killed by Pyg when he takes over the False Facers, but they manage to escape with their lives.

  • Ted Carson was a colleague and friend of Garfield Lynns. After Carson finds out about Lynns being the Firefly, Lynns burns him alive.

  • The new mayor of Gotham who is working for the Penguin.

  • One of Two-Face's "Freaks" and henchmen.

  • Sickle and Hammer are conjoined Russian twins who become two of Two-Face's "Freaks" and henchmen.

  • {In Post-Credits Scene} When Barbara arrives home, Dick reveals that he is Robin to her.

  • Paul Sloane is a famous actor from Gotham and one of the city's "faces of beauty". Two-Face attempts to kill Sloane but fails.

  • A renowned horror star and young "handsome" actor, Two-Face attempts to kill Basil Karlo but is stopped by Batman. Karlo also once worked with Garfield Lynns.

  • A billionaire in Gotham and friend of Bruce Wayne, D'urberville is killed by Two-Face as he is a "face of beauty" in the city.

  • Drury Walker, a billionaire and friend of Bruce Wayne, almost has acid thrown at him by Two-Face but is saved by Batman.

  • Lark assists Penguin in his partnership with Two-Face.

  • The Twins act once again as Penguin's bodyguards.

  • Bossworth is killed by the Kabuki Twins after the Penguin orders them to in order to show his ruthlessness to some of the Gotham gangs and to threaten the Whisper Gang, a gang Bossworth was a former member of (And still wore his "new recruit" mask).

  • A branch of the Ukrainian Mafia in Gotham City, the Whisper Gang forces new recruits to wear iron masks for 1 year until they've proven themselves to prove that they won't "squeal". Bossworth was a former member but chose to keep his mask on at all times to show his loyalty to the gang even when he began to work for Penguin.

  • {In Post-Credits Scene} As Batman heads towards his Batmobile which he left in an alley, we see a young boy trying to steal its wheels...
