I sometimes think about religion, even though I'm not religious. I wonder if gods were real things may turn out of differently. There are many holy texts we humans have found which many have shaped their morals around, but I feel as though these texts have become outdated. Humanity is an ever evolving species, if not genetically but as a society, we make something better and better with every generation that comes. Now religion probably made sense back then, when the texts were written but because the gods chose to just leave us there were no updates about what the new sins must be based on the new things humanity comes up with. Now I'm no god, I didn't write any holy texts, and I cannot ever fathom what an all powerful being must think about, but I do know that if I was one people with your opinions would be burning in the deepest depths of hell.
