With the original version of Truth Be Told finally up, it is now time to begin posting the third story in the Cale Storyline. Originally written in the summer of 1997, Relatively Dangerous followed Truth Be Told. It actually introduces a few new elements to the series, and was also written before this series got its name as 'The Cale Storyline'.

You see, when I was first thinking up Changes, one idea I had for a power was an aura that acted as a protective layer. This idea eventually would show up in the main X-Men universe, but my character had it first. She was also the product of my working through some negative feelings about a family member. (It should also be noted that said feelings have not diminished, due to what was done, and said family member is not a blood relative). Thus, I created the character who comes to be a loyal ally to Emplate.

I also ran with the idea of adding a character that I thought had potential during the run of the storyline called Operation Zero Tolerance. During the run of that story, they introduced a short lived character known as Daria. She had been a person who was part of Zero Tolerance, and went against them to save Jubilee. I honestly could see her joining Generation X, so in this story, she joins the team, with a mutant ability mixed with what was part of Zero Tolerance's Sentinel program.

Just so you know, this will get treated to the rewrite process starting this year, once Truth Be Told's rewrite is complete.

Now, a quick summary of the the story, even though I've covered key points already.

Relatively Dangerous sees a new student joining the school, one that is linked to the events in the previous story. Their arrival, however, is coupled with another figure from Richard's past appearing, and they have seemed to have gotten help from Generation X's main foe, Emplate. Will everything workout for the best, or will things go awry before this new foe can be stopped?
