Well, since I have posted enough on here to have earned a Fic-O-Pedia entry, I thought I would start posting more of my stuff on here. I also decided that I should start grouping everything together in Blog postings that link to everything. I also thought I'd give a bit of history relating to each of these.

Changes is the first true fanfiction I've written. I wrote it in the Spring of 1997, after I had been collecting the comic series Generation X for about a year. I had first seen the series when I was about to start college, however, I didn't get into it then because of the whole Age of Apocalypse story line that had been going on at time. I had been under an incorrect assumption at the time that the series would end with this event. Interest in the series came back to me in Junior year in college, when Fox attempted to pilot the series with a TV movie. I had ended up picking up all the issues available afterwords, and as I read the comic, I became intrigued by the character known then as Penance. This is what led me to write Changes. An attempt to bring Penance out of her shell. That was twenty years ago, and she's been a major inspiration to my writing since. In fact, Changes even led to a series of fics, most of which became known as The Cale Storyline.

In 2010, I began a rewrite of the Cale Storyline. I rewrote the entire fic, expanding on what already existed. The first story rewrite was finished in 2016, and I then started on rewriting the second story in the series. The size of the full story increased by 50%.

All that aside, let me give you some basic information on Changes.

Changes revolved around a new student joining the Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters in Snow Valley, Mass. This student's power makes him a very tempting target for Emplate, and could mean some serious breakthroughs for dealing with the mysterious mutant girl named Penance. This story, and series that it started, initially spun off from Issue 23 of the series.
