When people say limitless, usually it meant that their power is limitless. This means that whatever ability they have, they are able to use it to any extent. Thus this is slightly different from omnipotence, whereby the user can use any ability to any extend.
The common opinion is that Superman does not have limitless power, but limitless potential. Potential is any level that, in some way, possible to be achieved. Most operates at less than their full potential throughout their livespan, Superman included.
SP1M is an alternate future in which he is from the same universe, but different timeline. Therefore he can be considered the closest thing to Superman full potential, and even he has clear limitations.
The strongest canon Superman to date would be Silver Age Superman, who has ridiculous powers and depicted as seemingly limitless. However, saying that he has no limits is clearly a no limit fallacy.
Other versions of Superman such as the cartoon versions needs no debunking. They are clearly limited.
