Subject was found unconscious in lab 15, suffering from third degree burns on his hands and arms. A damaged containment cylinder was found near the subject that previously contained the E.G.M.T. Bacteria and the surrounding area was put into lockdown and decontaminated immediately. Upon a background check, it was revealed that it was related to one of candidates being considered for employment. It is widely believed that the subject exploited the candidates resent visits to find a way passed security; these problems have been dealt with. It is speculated that the subjects intent was to steal the E.G.M.T. Bacteria. Family has been informed of the subjects death. Subject was moved to quarantine.
On further inspection the subject had developed deformed muscle tissues in the chest cavity, acting as a malignant tumour. It was expected that it would die after a twenty-four hour period based on the rapid development of the tumour. Over a time period of several weeks, the subject’s anatomy went through extreme revisions. Regular examinations showed the tumour had become a functioning organ of the subjects body. The organ was able to create and use chemical and nuclear energy as alternatives to oxygen and food for the rest of the body. As a result, the body has adapted to these conditions. The skin is thicker and rough, resembling charred skin and bone has grown over the mouth. The firm instructs that the subject be kept under heavy sedation. The firm requested the subject be considered the human trial which the committee allowed .
The bacteria is not performing as well as the firm hoped. Most of the energy produced is turned into thermal energy and exit’s the body. To remedy this, the firm created a suit made to contain more energy into the body than it lets out. They believe this can be a plausible and safe way to harvest energy from the subject. After a month the firm created three more suits, each considerably larger than the last. The containment of energy in it’s body has lead the subject to grow around 7’6’’. The thought of military use begins to appear in the firms discussions.
December 25th 2008, project Reserve is scheduled for it’s first test. The test is to siphon energy from the subject into a small generator. The team failed to control the amount of energy moving from the subject and to the generator, shorting it out. Dr. Collins insists that the subject could control the flow of energy to such devices if it were taken off it’s sedatives. Such requests were declined.
Dr. Collins went rogue, shutting down much of the security and used stimulants to wake the subject. The subject effectively escaped the facility in less than ten minutes. Collins was found in the containment room with four broken ribs and burns on his chest.
The subject has resurfaced over the course of almost four years. Within a year there were accounts of a giant burned man in a metal suit running with a gang of super powered strong men residing in Canada, Quebec City called the Brawlers. They typically performed daylight bank robberies, typically burrowing underneath vaults and stealing everything in it and retreating back before anyone came to check where all the yelling was coming from. All most found was a big hole and 4 rusty spoons left at every crime scene. Three were caught when the police tracked them down to a reserve and used gas to render them unconscious. Three were arrested while the subject escaped. All three refused to yield any information about the fourth over to the authorities other than that he referred to himself as Reserve.
The subjects next appearance was in South American, supposedly with a mercenary group. An investigation yielded that the group had been paid by a local dictator on friendly terms with the U.S. to quell a small rebellion. Witnesses describe that his suit had been weaponized. Our organization apprehended a few of the mercenaries who showed they had abnormal attributes. When asked about the subject they said that it “Couldn’t handle the lifestyle”.
For the third and final time, the subject resurfaced in 2010 as apart of a short lived superhero team called the Black Sheep. The roster was made up of teenagers of different ages with troubled pasts. The team’s bodies were found on a beach in Newfoundland, Labrador. From what little coverage the story had from the news, people suspected the subject of killing them, but forensic evidence suggests only one was killed by burns, while the rest were killed by 44 mm rounds. The subject goes dark again after this.
POWERS AND ABILITIES
The subject has been effectively rendered anaerobic with it’s ability to produce energy and deliver it throughout the body, which ceased the need for food as well. As a side effect of the suit, the subjects body has produced more cells to combat the bombardment of energy unable to leave it’s body. As a result, the subject’s muscle mass has grown, allowing him to theoretically lift the rounded number of 100 tons without signs of strain. This rapid cell growth has also effected the skeletal and integumentary system, rendering anything short of M982 Excalibur ineffective. Heat is continuously produced from the body making the subject near untouchable without protection. Within the subjects suit nuclear reactions are stored up and anyone may be exposed to harmful radioactive material if they are in physical contact with the subject. Another possible harmful material that is produced by the subject are wastes and bacteria. With the large amount of energy being used, comes a large amount of waste left over, which comes out the mouth. The material, which looks strikingly similar to vomit, is prone to be filled with high amounts of deadly, thriving bacteria. These bacteria are also found on the subjects skin and in secretions of it’s body.
THE SUIT
Originally, the suit was created in an attempt to contain the chemical and nuclear energy in the subjects body, instead of it dispersing into the air. A by-product was the rapid growth the subject endured making it essential to replace the suit with a larger, reinforced version. The suit is made of titanium steel as well as thick layers of Kevlar and Ampullate around the joints and diaphragm for flexibility. The design is made to best resist pressure against the hull. Great amounts of insulation was used to keep most of the energy and heat inside the suit. It has come to the board’s attention that the subject was wearing a redesigned version of the suit in South American and on all sightings thereafter. The suit appeared to have been renovated, adding valves on the palms of both hands which appear to be used to release energy stored underneath the suit into a controlled beam. Witnesses described it using smaller, focused beams from it’s fingertips to perform more delicate tasks.
SUGGESTIONS FOR SUBDUING
The firm has recommended the following tactics.
Wear radiation suits
Have a clean-up team on standby
Keep a distance from the subject
Surround the subject
Keep a steady stream of fire on the subject
Focus the armour piercing rounds and explosive rounds on the Kevlar and Ampullate covered parts of the suit
If the suit is punctured, retreat to a safe area
The majority of the firm believes that without the suit, the energy contained will immediately disperse until brought down to its original level. The subject will be unable to support the needs of it’s muscular system, becoming extremely fatigued and will be rendered technically paralyzed. It is recommended that extreme caution should be used with this tactic as radiation will quickly pollute the surrounding area and will become a health hazard and may kill the subject.
