For me it ruined Batman on comicvine. Their are no good Batman debates around I mean as long as @jashro44 is around this isn't entirely true. Still remember that Batman vs Roy Mustang thread... Great stuff. and it almost feels taboo to try and make a thread or have a debate with Batman.

Your right, I guess it made sense for DC at the time after all Frank Miller had a lot of success revamping Batman. round the same time. but I don't like the idea of trying to revamp Superman he's too classic. that's his appeal.

Good runs are easy. But DC has been using a very stupid publishing way since the Crisis reboot of the 80s. For most of the 90s all the titles were one big story written in several titles, in the early 00s the same. When DC stopped in mid 00s, quality picked up, then they returned to that schedule with the New 52. Its difficult to keep a story written by various creative teams good, because it fluctuates and even if all the teams are top notch it doesn't guarantee that their voices work together well.

Give the titles autonomy and things will go better.
