He finishes the prototype and to test it out he finds out who stole the plans. Tony traces back to an organization called the 10 rings. He goes to their base, takes the blueprints back and then destroys the base. A year later there is a bombing at the New York Stark Industries headquarters. Later in the week a video is released. It features a Chinese man. He claims to be the Mandarin. He says that Stark had something that he wants and that he’s going to get it. As Stark is watching this is mind is racing. What am I going to do? Should I go? Where should I go? What does he want? Tony realizes that the Mandarin wants something his father gave to him before he died. He goes down to his basement and opens a metal suitcase. Inside is a ring. It’s white. His father told him it’s from ancient china and that a lot of people want it, but that he shouldn’t give it to anyone, and no matter what do not wear it. The doorbell rings. Tony answers the door and it’s his friend Rhodey. Rhodey tell Tony that he has to get away from his home, because the 10 rings were coming. Tony tells Rhodey to take the suitcase with the ring in it and take it someplace secure and far away. Rhodey does what Tony says and Tony gets to work immediately. Tony goes to his basement and starts modifying the prototype suit he used to take down the 10 rings the first time. He finishes the suit. He takes it out for a few test runs the night he finishes. He returns to his house and removes the suit. He sits down to watch TV when there is a breaking news alert. It says that 4 jets were headed for L.A. They all have the same logo on them as the logo that appeared at the end and beginning of the video with the Mandarin. Tony suits up and goes to meet the jets. He realizes that those jets were all his own inventions modified. He takes down the jets and return to his home. Tony returns to his house. There is footage of the fight going viral on the internet. Tony sits down for an interview and the reporter asks him about his reaction to “Iron Man” stopping the jets that were most likely after him. Tony says that the “Iron Man” is his new head of security and his first tasks were to stop those planes. Tony also says that those suits were his design and that anything he does falls back on Tony. The Mandarin releases another video. This time it shows the Mandarin with a ring on his left hand little finger. It’s the same ring that Tony had. Mandarin then points his finger with the ring on it at a young African American man. It’s Rhodey. Mandarin says that Iron Man must turn himself in to the 10 rings or Rhodey will die. Tony immediately suits up and goes to where the 10 rings were the first time he stopped them. There is nothing there. He hears a high pitched ear piercing sound getting louder and louder. There is a missile aimed right at him. Iron Man shoots into the sky not looking back. He realizes that the missile should’ve landed already and he looks behind him and sees that the missile is following him. No matter where he goes or what he does the missile is following him. Tony shoots a laser at it and there is a huge explosion. It knocks Iron Man to the ground and he passes out. Tony wakes up in the clothes he was wearing under the Iron Man suit. He is strapped down in a chair in a dark room with one singe light hanging above him. Tony hears a beep and then he hears a familiar voice. The voice explains who the person is in front of him. The person steps into the light and is revealed to be Mandarin. He then looks to where the beep came from and says that Tony Stark was Iron Man all along. He then shows the audience his ring and then says he’ll demonstrate what it could do. Two soldiers bring in Rhodey. Mandarin points his ring at Rhodey and a white blast come out of it. Rhodey is frozen in a chunk of ice. Mandarin says “That is all” and the beep is heard again. Mandarin walks out of the room followed by the camera man. Tony gets angry. He starts struggling to get lose, but can’t. He looks around and sees a broken piece of the concrete floor on the ground. It’s sharp. He tips his chair over, grabs it and uses it to cut free the rope holding him down. He then uses the rock to crack the ice Rhodey was in and then chip it away. Rhodey is groggy and weak, but still alive. Rhodey and Tony sneak out of the room and try to find the suit. They have no idea where to look, but they find a hanger. There in the hanger are various planes like the ones that attempted to attack Tony. There are also tanks and other weapons all of Tony’s design. They sneak past soldiers and they make their way into one of the jets. Rhodey being an air force veteran starts the plane up and flies away as soldiers are shooting at the plane. They land back in America and there is a celebration that they are both back. Tony then builds a new suit for himself and one for Rhodey. Toney installed a GPS tracker in his computer for the suits so he knows where they are. Using that he finds the 10 rings exact location. Tony uses his A.I Jarvis to find out more about the ring Mandarin wanted. Tony finds out that there are 10 rings all with different powers, from an old Chinese myth which is apparently real. The myth is cryptic as to where the rings are, but Tony figures some of them out. Now it’s a race to the rings between Iron Man and Mandarin. Tony gathers 5 rings; Mandarin gathers 4 for more (for a total of 5). Mandarin sends 9 jets and a helicopter to Tony Starks home. Rhodey and Tony try to fight them off, but it is too much. Soldiers file out of the helicopter into Tony’s home. They take the rings and leave. Tony attempts to fly after them, but his suit is running out of energy and he can’t. Tony and Rhodey go to the 10 rings base which is empty. Tony feels like a failure. Tony returns to his home and puts up the mantle of Iron Man since Mandarin is not causing trouble. All he wanted was the rings. Tony donates the War Machine sit to the U.S army.

Arc

  • § Doctor Stephen Strange is a brilliant but egotistical neurosurgeon who only cares about wealth from his career. However, a car accident damages his hands, shattering the bones. The damage and subsequent healing effectively ends his ability to conduct surgery as he had before, since his hands now tremble uncontrollably. Too proud to take on a teaching job, Strange desperately begins the search for a cure to restore his hands, consulting various doctors, homeopathic treatments and travelling around the world to remote regions for exotic cures, all to no avail. Having completely exhausted all of his funds and reduced to homelessness, Strange is forced to perform back alley medical procedures for cash. Depressed and still searching for a cure, Strange locates a hermit called the Ancient One in the Himalayas. The Ancient One refuses to help Strange because of his selfishness, but senses his good side which he attempts to bring to the surface. The Ancient One trains Strange in the mystic arts along with his other student Amadeus Mordo. Stephen’s cockiness at first gets in the way of his training, but he eventually gets rid of that and replaces it with courage. The Ancient one sends him out on missions with fellow sorcerers to stop magical beings from damaging the normal world. After some amazing feats spontaneously performed by Stephen, The Ancient One believes Stephen to be the next sorcerer supreme. The sorcerer supreme is a title given to the most powerful sorcerers. The sorcerer supreme has a mental link with all of the past sorcerers and can summon their power to help him/her. There are some whose mission it is to find the sorcerer supreme. The ancient one is one of those people. The ancient one gives Stephen a series of test to see if he’s the sorcerer supreme. Stephen passes everyone. The ancient one reveals to all of his disciples that Stephen is the new sorcerer supreme. Stephen now leads missions instead of Mordo. Mordo builds up a hate for Stephen. Mordo challenges Strange. Stephen humiliates Mordo. The next day Mordo is gone. Stephen continues to lead missions but begins to see visions. He sees visions of destruction and monsters and things so horrific he can’t even describe them. He tells the ancient one and the ancient one brings him to the sanctum sanctorum. It is like the bridge connecting all different dimensions. He takes him to the gate that separates the dark dimension from the others. He says that he’d been feeling a strong force coming from the dark dimension. He knows for sure that Dormammu the ruler of the dark dimension cannot break through. Strange and the Ancient One go back to Tibet. The next week there is an attack in New York by a creature called the Wing ark. Strange, Wong, The Ancient One and the rest of the top sorcerers go to NYC to fight them. There are 5 sorcerers who die. At the end of the battle a portal opens up from the ground. Amadeus Mordo rises out of it. He now calls himself Baron Mordo as a count of his father’s death. Mordo challenges Strange again. They have a huge battle, but Mordo wins. Mordo then battles Wong and wins then he kills the Ancient One. Strange regains a little of his strength and asks Mordo how he had gotten so strong. Mordo says he has the help of the most powerful being to exist. Mordo forms a huge ball of fire and sends it straight at the sanctum sanctorum. A huge portal forms from where the sanctum sanctorum was and outcomes an army of creatures that have a thick, roughly humanoid shape standing taller than most men and a hide that appears to be made of rock. They have no faces to speak of except a single glowing eye. They start shooting yellow beams out of that I. Wong identifies them as the Mindless Ones. The remaining sorcerers fight them off. Then comes out a hellish creature. He is a giant. His face resembles a black skull and it is surrounded by Fire. This is Dormammu. Dormammu begins to destroy NYC. The sorcerers try to fight him off but fail. Doctor Strange then goes to the ancient ones dead body and takes the eye of agamotto which the ancient one had not yet gotten the chance to give to Strange. Strange taunts Dormammu. Dormammu sends a huge blast of energy at Strange. Strange uses the eye to absorb the energy. Dormammu continues until he almost runs out of energy. Strange then takes all of that energy and sends it back to Dormammu destroying him. The sorcerers go back to Tibet and they celebrate. During the celebration Wong pulls Strange aside and tells him that they have to start looking for new recruits. He then says he was looking at a particular girl named Clea.

10 Things I Wanna See in a Wonder Woman Movie

No Caption Provided

Wonder Woman has had a successful TV show, one that got cancelled before the pilot, one that is in the works and various failed attempts at a movie. She deserves a successful film. Many different ideas have been thrown around now you're about to hear mine. These are 10 things i wanna see in WW movie.

1) The Female Hercules

No Caption Provided

You might not know what I mean by female Hercules. I want her to be one of those heroes from the old Greek myths. I want her to go on adventures and face multiple challenges on the way until she gets to the final battle. Wonder Woman IS a female Hercules. Another things I want to see is the involvement of a some of the characters from ancient Greek mythology. Like the new 52 run, What I they should be involved in the story. I also want to a strong willed character that can take care of herself. She shouldn't take crap from anyone and should always be ready for a fight. One thing I don't wanna see is a misandrist (hater of men) Wonder Woman. Same with the rest of the Amazons. They shouldn't hate them, but feel that they don't need them. WW should start off as a girl not ready for a fight, but trying to start one. When that fight does come along she does everything to eat her opponent(s), but doesn't pay attention to her surroundings. She would be a great fighter if there was no one or thing around her other than her opponent, but if she's in a crowded place she would endanger a lot of lives. That could be one reason why Hippolyta doesn't want her to leave Themyscira. Over the course of the movie she would grow into a better warrior. Lastly Wonder Woman should just be a fun character. She likes to have fun. Her idea of fun might be to beat someone to a pulp, but she still likes to have fun.

2) The Costume

No Caption Provided

This is something that comes up EVERY time a WW movie is discussed. Some people argue that her comic book outfit is to slutty, but when you add pants people say it doesn't look like classic Wonder Woman. What I like about this outfit is that it's armor like, it has a ancient Greco-roman look and feel to it. It's armor like, it's not too revealing, but still gives us something to look at and it just looks really cool. Only thing I would change is the straps. I really don't like those. Some people might say that the panties look could work. I agree it could work, but one thing that usually comes with the panties is the thing I hate the most about WW. The stars meant to be like the american flag. I have nothing wrong with a character representing America (the country I was born and raised in), but when you think about it why would WW rep the american flag stuff anyway. She's from Themyscira a island full of only women. A island full of people that feel that men are useless in everything other than reproduction. They feel that men aren't needed in life and that females are the dominant species. America being a country that has always and continues to lift men higher than women. Since this movie would showcase her first time going to america she wouldn't know of the flag anyway. This costume wouldn't be to her a costume. It would be Themyscira battle armor. If they don't go with this costume I would like to see the New 52 version. Pants or no pants I don't care. Maybe in a scene where she's just walking around in the city with Steve Trevor or something she could were something like this.

3) A Director Who Can Deliver

No Caption Provided

Themyscira needs to be visually stunning. It is also called paradise island so it needs to look like a paradise. This film needs a director that can give us that. This director also needs to know how to bring that same beauty to a modern american city. I have 2 directors in mind. Peter Jackson and David Yates. Peter Jackson for all of his movies that take place in middle earth and David Yates for the 5 Harry Potter films that he did. I chose Peter Jackson for his way of creating hole worlds. I want what he brought to middle earth brought to Themyscira, Olympus and even the Underworld. The one doubt I have is that I have yet to see him do a film that took place in modern day. That transition from ancient Greece to modern america is big and I don't want the quality of stunning visuals to fall once that transition happens. I also liked him for his ability to make a movie look bright, but have a tone that's dark. My other choice David Yates is because he has the ability to make the transfer between the modern world and a fantasy world. The problem I have with him is that I don't know if he could be as visually stunning as Peter Jackson, but I guess he would be enough for a WW film.

4) The Origin, My Take!

No Caption Provided

One thing also mentioned a lot when discussing the WW movie is whether or not to use the new 52 origin or the pre flashpoint origin. Most fans have said pre flashpoint. I like both origins, but I feel that The one pf (pre flashpoint) origin would not work on film. I love the new 52 version for making WW a demi-god which she should be. The new 52 one also made it easier to introduce more gods in the storyline since her father is the king of them all. But since fans love their classic origin I have come up with an origin that combines the 2. Here it goes:

Hippolyta the Queen of the Amazons always wanted a daughter, but she was unable to bare children. Her only hope was that a god could give her one. She then began an affair with Zeus. Yet, she still couldn’t even bare the child of a God. Zeus felt sympathy and answered her prayers. Zeus asked all of the gods to help bless a baby girl, for Hippolyta. Hippolyta was told to form the baby out of clay and then come back the next day. The gods who agreed each blessed her

Demeter: With Strength, Invulnerability/Durability,

Hermes: With Speed, Flight, Healing factor

Athena: Divine Wisdom

Aphrodite: Great Beauty

Artemis: Enhanced Senses

The next day Hippolyta came back to find a beautiful baby girl. She named her Diana…

5) An Over Arcing Plot

Hera
Hera

Wonder Woman 1 Plot: Steve Trevor is sent on a mission by the U.S government to find something strange in the ocean that has recently been found. Trevor goes and lands on the island of Themyscira. He is taken prisoner by the Amazons, a race of Woman who live their without men. He is taken in for questioning and he tells them all about his mission. The queen of the Amazons Hippolyta holds a contest to see who would take Trevor back to were he came from. Hippolyta forbids Diana from participating. Diana secretly enters the competition. She wins and convinces her mother to send her out into the world with Trevor. When she gets back to America and tells the government about Themyscira the U.S declares war on Themyscira. Diana feels that something is wrong and she tries to figure out what is happening. She concludes that Ares was behind the war. He wanted revenge on the Amazons for defeating him years before. Wonder Woman goes on a quest to find Ares and to stop him. Trevor tags along. She fights various monsters and people until she reaches and Ares and has a final battle. She defeats him and he goes back to Olympus. Wonder Woman returns to Themyscira which is now filled with U.S soldiers fighting the Amazons. Wonder Woman tries to break up the fight on both ends, but they don't stop. Wonder Woman angry eventually sides with the Amazons and leaves Trevor. She along with many other Amazons kill a lot of U.S soldiers. The U.S Soldiers retreat. The Amazons celebrate their victory until Hippolyta stops the celebration and makes her way to Diana. Hippolyta blames all of the war on her. She says that if she had not told the U.S about Themyscira then none of this would've happened. Hippolyta banishes Diana from Themyscira. Meanwhile in Olympus, Ares meets with Hera and she says that she is disappointed in Ares. It is revealed to the audience that she was behind everything. She wanted to kill Diana because she is made that she was only created because of the affair between Hippolyta and Hera's husband Zeus.

This plot opens up to many sequels were Hera is the villain unknown to everyone, except her and the people she sends to kill Diana. The second film I feel should follow the storyline of Brian Azzarello's run on WW in the new 52.

6) Wonder Woman...More Like Warrior Woman

No Caption Provided

"One badass thing about Wonder Woman is that she kills, that’s the thing that sets her apart from the rest of The League, except the fact she is a woman… Anyway, Wonder Woman is a killer she isn’t looking for truth and justice she is looking to clean the streets and the way she does it, is kill. Gods trained Wonder Woman; she has been trained as though every situation is war. She kills for the greater good. She doesn’t battle criminals to bring them to justice, she battles them and kills them, and she is a killing machine." What you just read was written buy a user on comicbookmovie.com named Khan. To read the rest of his article click here. He basically said what i feel.

7) Don't Pick Gina Carano!!!!!

Adrianne Palicki
Adrianne Palicki

Gina Carano is probably casted as WW more than anyone else on the internet. Yeah she's...cute kinda, yeah she can do MMA and yeah she's been in a movie, but that doesn't make her Wonder Woman. Wonder Woman needs to be played by someone who can play a strong female character. Carano I feel doesn't have enough acting experience and ability to take on the role of one of the most iconic comic book characters to ever be created. I think that Adrianne Palicki DESERVES to be WW. She's HOT AS HELL, she is a decent actor and still looks sexy while opening a can of whoop-@$$ on you. All I could think about during G. I Joe Retaliation was how much I wanted to see her as WW. If you watch the cancelled pilot for the WW show which is available for free online you'll see how she could play a strong character. The writing might be way off for the character as far as source material, but Palicki did amazing with what she was given.

8) NO FREAKING INVISIBLE PLANE!!!! NO!!! NOOOOOOOO!!!! GOD NO!!!! PLEASE NO!!!!! IF ANYTHING NOT THAT!!!! PLEASE NO!!! I BEG YOU NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

No Caption Provided

If only one of these would make it in a WW film and I chose which one made it it would be this one. The invisible plane is pointless! Whoever created that should've just given her the power to fly. Even when artist gave her the power to fly she still used the invisible plane. If she could fly she would save so much time and energy. What even fuels that? How we she find it? With flying she just simply takes off. The invisible plane's only benefit would be for sneak attacks from the air, but WONDER WOMAN IS STILL SEEN WHY'LL IN THE SHIP WHICH MAKES NO SENSE!!!! I've never seen a valid argument on why she would need this when she could fly. One argument I've seen is What if she didn't want to fly alone? IF SHE WANTS TO FLY WITH SOMEONE THEN SHE COULD HOLD THEIR HAND LIKE SUPERMAN DOES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!u

9) Weapons and Stuff

No Caption Provided

One thing I want to be shown in a WW film is that Wonder Woman is a warrior. She is a skilled hand to hand combatant, she is a skilled sword fighter, a skilled archer, a skilled lasso...person, a skilled javelin thrower, she's skilled at a lot of things. Wonder Woman is known for her unique objects. Her lasso of truth, her bracelets, her tiara. Here's what those things can do in this film.

Bracelets: The bracelets are made out of special material only found on Themyscira. They are bullet proof. These bracelets are also enchanted. With this enchantment a shield can magically form on the left bracelet and a sword can form out of the right one.

Tiara: The tiara is a simple Tiara. It is made out of the same material the bracelets are made out of though so if she hit you with it, it would hurt.

Lasso of Truth: The lasso of truth didn't really change. But it works on everyone not just men. It can extend to any length the user wants it to, as long as the user has the energy to do so.

I'd really just like WW to kick some but in this movie. Whether she's shooting arrows or deflecting them. All of these would be given to her along with her armor.

10) Don't Make Her Stupid! Just a Little Naive

No Caption Provided

The picture to the left is of a page in the first Story arc of the Justice League comic. Wonder Woman had just gotten outside of Themyscira and into the U.S. When I read this i stood in awe at how much I hated this page. It makes WW seem so Stupid. Yeah she might not know what Ice cream is, but this seen is pointless and stupid. I've seen a lot of interpretations of WW that make her seem like a stupid and clueless little girl that speaks old English. WW could be a little naive and curious since shes in a new world, but making her like how they did on this page to the left is something i don't want to see happen!

Thanks for reading! If you want to see me do these with any other heroes or even villains pm or tell me in the comments. Share with your 10 things that you wan to see in a WW movie. Do you agree or disagree? Let me know. DEUCES!

10 Things I Wanna See in a Green Lantern Movie

No Caption Provided

Yes I'm back with another "(insert number here) Things I Wanna See in a (insert character here) Movie". This time I'm focusing on Green Lantern. Green Lantern is a classic hero that's been around for a while. WE got a movie in 2011, that didn't do so well. It had its flaws, so i'm going to tell you 10 things i find essential for a Green Lantern film to have. Let's get started!

1) If You Use Hal Jordan, Do Him Right:

One thing that most fans didn't like about the film was that Hal Jordan was a douche. An honest douche sometimes and never stopped cracking jokes. If they do use him and not John Stewart or Kyle Reyner (I didn't mention Guy Gardner because he essentially is what I described Hal Jordan's portrayal in the GL film was) then they need to do him right. At the beginning pre getting the ring I think the Hal Jordan they had was fine. They did do Hal right. They went wrong after he got the ring. I feel by the time he stopped his training he should've gotten more serious, but he can still crack jokes, just not every 5 minutes. A good portrayal of the Hal Jordan I'm talking about is in the new 52 Justice League: Origin story arc Hal Jordan.

2) Make This a Space EPIC:

A complaint shared by most fans is that there was too much earth and not enough space. I completely agree. I think this could be DC's Star Wars, if not at least it's Star Trek. Imagine if in Star Wars Luke was trained by Ben Kenobi then he went back to Tatooine. That's GL. Imagine if Hal left earth. Was trained and then went back told Carol he'd been gone for a little while left and fought the fight he needed to and then returned. That would've been SO much better. The Green Lantern Corp is home to TONS AND TONS of different races from around the universe. I want to see more of that. I want too see huge battles in space. tons of GL's fighting with tons of constructs surrounding them. GL has the potential to be something big, they need to use that to their benefit.

3) Get the Right Tone:

In Green Lantern (2011) the tone was bright you could say. It was like that due too the jokes everywhere. The serious parts were great, but by the next scene that tone set had been lost. The tone should be like the J. J. Abrams Star Trek films. Humor and seriousness all at the same time. It's balanced very well in those films. There could be lighter moments, but there needs to be an overall set tone for the movie. If 10 is very dark and 1 is very light, I say keep it 5 or 6. Don't go to far down or too high up.

4) Better Constructs!:

A thing I find in a lot of GL media is that the constructs are unoriginal and dull. We almost always will see fist, a simple ray, a gattling gun. I wanna see big and creative things. My dream construct is a huge humanoid figure. The GL is in the center of it and whatever motion the GL does the figure does with him. Some more creatives ones are robot suits, maybe a huge baseball bat and you catch the person with a baseball glove, army of warriors, brigade of fighter planes, samurai armor, animals and so much more I can't think of. The point is use imagination. Green Lantern's rely on that as well as will. Seeing the same thing multiple times in the movie would get boring. If not original ones at least try not too repeat them more than once.

5) Keep Mark Strong!:

Mark Strong as Sinestro is one of the best castings I've ever seen in CBM's. He was the best part of the first GL movie and I want him too stay. His sinestro was so spot on and I don't know of anyone who could do it better than him. He had the look, the sound and the presence down! Mark Strong brought the character to life! He brought the Sinestro that we needed. The character was Sinestro. The best Lantern out there who is not evil, but he's doing what he feels is right morally. I want too see more Sinestro in this. Sinestro is Denzel Washington and Jordan is Ethan Hawke (Training Day reference). Sinestro should be shown a little more stubborn in this film. His portrayal should be like his portrayal in GL first flight. If I had to choose one thing on this list and WB would make it happen it'd be this or number 10. DON'T GO SCROLLING DOWN TO SEE WHAT IT IS!!!

6) Lose Ryan Reynolds:

I think that Reynolds did a great job, with what he was given. He in no way is responsible for the failure of this movie. The writes wrote the part for Ryan Reynolds, meaning they wrote him as a character Ryan Reynolds would (and usually does) play. Almost everybody does that with Ryan Reynolds movies. Only ones I haven't seen that happen to was Buried and Safe House. Instead I choose Chris Pine to play Hal Jordan. Chris Pine embodies the character I want Hal to be in the Star Trek films. He knows how to be serious and when to be funny and does it very well. He also usually plays that fearless character who will sacrifice himself for the people he cares about (Kirk in Star Trek: Into Darkness).

7) Soft Reboot:

You might be thinking What is a Soft Reboot? Well I'll tell you. It is a sequel yet your still rebooting the franchise. Like Incredible Hulk or even James Bond. You acknowledge that what happened in the previous film(s) still exist, but you continue the story with different cast and crew members. This movie would pick up where GL 2011 left off. Don't worry the only person returning his Mark Strong. Every other cast and crew member is GONE! They are done! So it basically would follow the storyline of Sinestro secretly starting the Sinestro corps and his goal is too kill the guardians and take over Oa. He would take away the ring of every GL that refuses to join him. In the end there wold be na epic battle between the Sinestro Corps and the Green Lantern corps.

8) Great Script!:

The thing that made GL horrible was not the director, not the cast, but the script. No matter how talented the actor or the director if they are given a bad scrip it's a bad movie. The script for this film needs to be on a big scale. The writers need to be able to balance characters, since their are tons of character that could and should be used in this film. They need to know how to write good dialogue and not make it too campy. It's a trap that you can easily fall into in CBM's and especially a GL film.

9) The Costume:

Some people liked the CG suit, most people didn't. I liked the idea, but not the outcome. The suit should be a mix of cg and actual material. Maybe the lining could be CG and it could look like an energy is flowing through it, but the suit itself should be real. I think each GL should have their own unique suit, but they all should have some uniformity.

10) J. J. Abrams:

The best sci-fi director of our time! Yes I just said that. Abrams is an awesome director. He can handle ensemble casts very well and is a visionary director. Yes we might see a few lens flares in the movie, but it's worth it. With the power rings glowing all the time and the GL's themselves the flares will actually fit!

Alright! That's 10! Let me know your thoughts and opinions on my choices and share with me the things you find essential to a GL movie. Please keep away from harsh comments whether to me or other people that have commented. Thank you for reading and DEUCES!

10 Things I Wanna See In a Batman Reboot

No Caption Provided

This is RedHood13 with another "(Insert number here) Things" article for you. To check out my first one where I show you the 5 things I want to see in MOS 2 click here. A Batman reboot is inevitable. He is one of DC's most popular characters and brings in a lot of money. TDKR might have beaten out Avengers last year if it wasn't for the shooting. If DC is truly trying to set up a cinematic universe Batman is an absolute MUST. Batman does need to be done right though. Here are the top 10 things I want to see in the upcoming Batman reboot.

No Caption Provided

1) Show All of Batman's Skills: I very much liked the Nolan Batman trilogy. One thing i didn't like about it though was that Batman wasn't the world's greatest detective. Batman debuted in DETECTIVE Comics (in case you didn't get it I was emphasizing the detective). In recent media that involved Batman, I've seen Batman become less of a detective and leave all that work to his computer. Instead of going out and interrogating people hanging them off of building, he sits at his computer typing in words. The computer is a great starting point and way to check the info you got, but not something he should rely on. There's a story called Batman: Lovers and Mad Men It's a story that tells the origins of the Joker. VERY well written, and great art. Anyway at the beginning of the story Batman has a narration which is very good and he talks about his training. It shows him reading books while doing push ups in various rooms. Out of the windows you see famous monuments which indicate what places he is at. There is also a sword next to him of different styles based on locations around the world. In one outside the window is the Eiffel tower and next to him is a fencing sword. Another has a katana and outside I think is a mountain. The point i'm trying to make with this is that Batman has learned fighting styles from all around the world, which was touched on in Batman Begins, but he never used it. I want to see a Batman that's agile and fast and fights like a trained assassin that doesn't kill, not a stiff guy in a suit that can't withstand dogs (*cough*TDK*cough*).

No Caption Provided

2) Gadgets: One thing I'd love to see Batman have is gadgets. Batarangs, exploding batarangs, electric batarangs, smoke bombs, flare bombs, grappling gun. Maybe in his helmet there's a sonar feature that serves as a radar like real bats. Maybe in the eye lenses there is thermal vision, night vision and normal vision. I just want to see cool stuff that's not over the top. Bruce Wayne can afford it so why wouldn't he have it. His suit should also be very durable and should withstand bullets and dogs (*cough*TDK*cough*).

No Caption Provided

3) Tone and Realism Levels: I think the tone should be very dark. At least as dark as TDK. Now don't get confused tone and realism are to VERY different things. One misconception about Man of Steel before it came out was that it was going ot be realistic. What Nolan and Snyder and Goyer were saying was that the world itself is realistic, not Superman himself. They were placing a fantastical character into a very real world. It was just away of saying that they wanted to show the true reactions to someone like Superman. That's what I want them to do with the Batman reboot. It should take a unrealistic character and place him in a real world.

No Caption Provided

4) New/Redeemed Villains: I don't want to see Bane, Two Face, Joker, Scarecrow, or R'as al Ghul for at least 2 movies. There's some many villains that need redemption or screen time. Mister Freeze, Killer Croc, Poison Ivy, Man-Bat, Clayface, Riddler, Zsasz, Hush, Black Mask, Hugo Strange, Deadshot, Deathstroke. One thing I want to see with more fantastical villains (Mister Freeze, Killer Croc, Poison Ivy, Man-Bat) is a justified reason on why they are like they are. I'd also like to see people like Riddler and Joker as serial killers. I also think there should always be a villain that makes Batman think, and a villain that makes him fight. For example a movie with Black Mask and Deadshot, not just Deadshot or just Black Mask. Maybe they could use Red Hood (the original who ended up being the Joker).

No Caption Provided

5) Robin: Yes I want Robin to be in the first movie. Robin is an essential character in the Batman mythos. He's never been done well in film. He is basically a younger version of Bruce, yet with a different attitude toward his situation. I would choose Dick Grayson for Robin. Bruce would've adopted Dick a year before the events of this film. He would be around 15 or 16, not too old or young for Robin. I see Bruce training Dick in preparation for the day Bruce can't be Batman anymore. This is unknown to Dick. When Dick finds out Bruce is Batman he begs Bruce to let him go along with him. Bruce wouldn't do it. Towards the end of the film would be "Robin's" debut serving as backup for Batman. I think his suit should be similar to the one to the left. Just a darker shade of red and the inside of the cape should be black.

No Caption Provided

6) MOS Style Origin: What I mean by this is flash backs, at points where they're needed. For example in MOS (Man of Steel) Clark has flashbacks to pivotal moments in his life when they would come up. So in this movie since Robin is in it, but is adopted before the events of the film maybe Dick and Bruce are talking about the night Dick's parents died and Dick has a flashback then Bruce thinks about how all he could think about is when his parents died, and Bruce has a flashback to that. They should be at times where the character having the flashback would actually be thinking of that or in times when the character would need it. If Batman is in a bad situation and needs to get out he might have a flashback to a point in his training. So by the end of the film we could take the flashbacks and piece them together into a story. I think Batman would've been operating for about 3 years at the time of this movie so he could have flashback ot his first days as Batman and the mistakes he made (earth one style).

No Caption Provided

7) GOTHAM: I like the interpretation of Gotham in the Nolan Films. I think Batman Begins had the best portrayal. I think that Gotham should have 2 parts. The new modern metropolis and the dark gritty old part of Gotham. The dark gritty old part is where Batman usually operates. Maybe new Gotham sits on the shore of the Atlantic and old Gotham is connected by a bridge so old Gotham is an island. Places like Arkham would be located in old Gotham. Batman is kind of the protector of the innocent people that live in old Gotham and makes sure that the villains don't take over old Gotham entirely (hint ,hint).

8) Director: This movie would need an amazing director. Someone who could capture Batman and Gotham as if it was a person. This person needs to be able to handle action in the Batman way. They also need to have a clear vision of what they want Gotham to be like. My top choices for a Batman film are Ben Affleck (Argo), Guy Ritchie (RDJ Sherlock Holmes Films) or Darren Aronofsky.

Ben Affleck: I think Ben Affleck would be good because of his style of directing. He is great and you know why I've chose him if you've seen The Town or Argo. Watch this scene from The Town

Guy Ritchie: I chose him because of his work on Sherlock Holmes. I feel that the city played a big part in this movie. He knows how to handle mysteries and action well also. I would love to see a scene like the one in the video below in the movie.

Darren Aronofsky: He could get the tone of the movie down perfectly and I think could bring in the psychological aspects of the film. He would do an AMAZING version of the Court of the Owls storyline. Just keep him away from the story (look up his ideas for a Batman: Year One movie)

No Caption Provided

9) Writer(s): I think the writers should be Scott Snyder, Joel Coen and Ethan Coen. Scott Snyder as you know writes Batman for DC now, and I think is one of the best if not THE best Batman writer ever. Joel and Ethan Coen wrote True Grit. Scott Snyder knows Batman and the Coen brother's know how to write a great script from source material. They were praised for how well they adapted the True Grit book into a screenplay and were nominated for an Oscar because of it.

No Caption Provided

10) Batcave: The batcave is the head of operations for Batman. I have yet to see a great adaption of the cave on film. The bat computer should be one of the most advanced computers in the world. Maybe a Tony Stark esque holographic system. It should be home to labs, workout rooms, a "garage" of sorts that hold all of Batman's vehicles and more things. There should be various ways of accessing it through the tunnels of Gotham.

Alright so those are my ideas! Share your thoughts and ideas below in the comments. If you agree or disagree let me know! Also, tell me "(inset number here) Things" article you want me to do next! DEUCES!!

5 Things I Wanna See in Man of Steel 2

No Caption Provided

Hi, this is RedHood13 i'm new to this site and this is my first blog. I've decided to talk about Man of Steel 2 (well, duh). Man of Steel has gained mixed reactions from fans, critics and average movie-goers all around. I personally loved the film! Despite it's non-stop action, at least the action was good. The emotional parts were great In my honest opinion. When Pa Kent died I almost had full blown tears in my eyes. Some people said they were weak. I digress, this isn't a review!

Man of Tomorrow, the sequel to Man of Steel. No it is not in 2014. I would keep the same cast and crew, except David Goyer would not return not for the screen writer. He could be like Christopher Nolan in the Dark Knight films. He doesn't write the screenplay, but is behind the story. Goyer would say “Hey lets have a movie where Superman does this this and this, with that this and that and at the ending he blah blah blah’s”. It would be the writers job to dive deeper in the story and flesh it out as an actual script. Things I want to see…

No Caption Provided

1) Clark Kent: I am perfectly fine with what they did in MOS with the whole Clark Kent finding himself thing. I loved the idea. I liked the end scene where Clark dons the signature glasses. The one thing I want to see from Clark Kent is the mumbling bumbling fool act. Some people don’t like him being the clumsy dork type, but honestly that’s the smartest way to do it. His disguise is already easy enough to figure out.

No Caption Provided

2) Lex Luthor: Lex Luthor, the most iconic Superman villain that’s ever existed. Luthor has been done over and over again in film. All times (IMHO) horribly. Lex Luthor has different sides. The business man who wants Metropolis for himself and thinks Superman is getting in the way of that. The evil scientist who relies on kryptonite and the Evil scientist posing as a businessman. Lex Luthor should mainly be the business man who wants Metropolis for himself and thinks Superman is getting in the way of that. I think Luthor should be just like the Luthor featured in the All Star Superman comics by Grant Morrison. That is the best interpretation of Lex I’ve ever seen. In All Star Superman while Luthor is on trial the judge (I think it’s the judge) compares Lex Luthor to Genghis Khan and Attila the Hun. That’s saying something about his character. Lex Luthor should also not be the main villain, but behind the scenes. You might be thinking we don’t know who’s behind it until a reveal at the end, but I want him to have a big role. Luthor is the main antagonists that sends others out to do his dirty work, so that it doesn't trace back to him.

No Caption Provided

3) Metallo: I think Metallo should be the guy who Superman thinks is the main bad guy. Luthor sends him out to kill Superman, after discovering the effects of Kryptonite on Superman. Metallo really should just look like a regular guy except for when his skin is peeled off and he just looks like a Terminator. Metallo will also bring out a side of Superman only lightly touched on in past movies. His intelligence. With Metallo being powered by kryptonite which takes away Superman’s powers, Superman will have to rely on his brain to get him out of the situation rather than his brawn.

No Caption Provided

4) Kryptonite: Kryptonite has always been seen as a substance which makes Superman weak. Its fragments of minerals from Krypton that had made its way to earth. If it’s on Krypton why doesn't it make all the Kryptonians on Krypton weak? That’s a question I have always asked. Then some people would answer that it’s radioactive or poisoned. If that is the case I want it to be explained why it’s poisoned. Typically in Superman media when he is under the red sun he loses his powers and Kryptonite makes him weak. I think that should be switched around. In MOS when Superman enters Zod’s ship which atmosphere is the same a Krypton’s he becomes weak and passes out since he has to adapt to this atmosphere that he hadn't been on in 33 years! I think that the Red Sun should have this effect on Superman too since he has to adapt to the red sun, which once he adapts to takes his powers away. Since Kryptonite is just a rock I think it should just automatically take away his powers. Leaving him as vulnerable and as powerful as a regular human.

5) Plot Summary: After the events of MOS parts of Metropolis are destroyed. Lex Luthor sees this as an opportunity to take the role as the hero of Metropolis, buy rebuilding it from the ground up. During the process of building Luthor frequently yet subtly plants the seeds of Superman being a menace to society. After rebuilding is completed Luthor runs for and is elected Mayor of Metropolis. Luthor’s first act is to get rid of Superman. He releases a series of robots and machines to stop Superman but he beats them all. John Corben was a soldier who volunteered to pilot one of these machines. He is injured severely in battle with Superman. Everything below his ribs is all gone, along with his right arm. Superman does not know that someone was piloting this machine. He flies away at the end of the battle not knowing that Corben was even in the robot. The Police find Corben, but Luthor pays them off so they give Corbens body to Luthor. Luthor releases a photo of Corbens demolished body. He tells the public that Superman did that to Corben, failing to mention Superman didn't know he was in the suit. He places Corben in a metallic suit that serves as life support. The suit also gives him enhanced strength, durability, speed, and agility. The suit is powered by a rare mineral called Kryptonite, which originates from Superman's home planet. Luthor sends Metallo out to kill Superman. Superman and Metallo begin to fight when Metallo opens up his chest to reveal the kryptonite. Superman begins to lose his power and is reduced to the power of a human. Metallo then attacks Superman who seems to be losing the fight when he manages to render Metallo unconscious by causing him to accidentally electrocute himself. Superman takes out the Kryptonite and destroys it. Superman flies away from the scene, since he hears the cops coming. The cops find Metallo conscious yet beginning to die since the suit is not functioning due to it being electrocuted. Metallo dies before they can power the suit up again. Luthor then comes out with the statement that Superman had killed John Corben (failing to mention John Corben was trying to kill him.) Superman is seen as an outlaw among Metropolitans.

So those are my main ideas for the movie. If you agree, let me know in the comments. If you disagree, let me know that too! I also would like to hear some of your ideas. Deuces!
