  • Andrea Rojas' father Bernardo was a big time politician and drug lord in Mexico. When his rivals stormed his house to kill him, one of his guards sacrificed his life to save Andrea. She eventually was able to reconnect with her mother in Costa Rica and grew up there, but never forgot what she survived. When she was old enough, she returned to Mexico with the lunar disc of Awilix, which granted her the ability to move through shadows, among other abilities. Waging war against the drug cartels of South America, Captain Acrata was recruited into the Captains of Infamy by Captain Hunter who told her he would reveal her father's slayer as payment for joining.

When she started acting suspicious, Katsumi followed her and found evidence of criminal activity. Whitley used her expertise to evade the police, but her student found her out and attacked her; Whitley almost killed Katsumi in sword combat, but Wonder Woman stopped the professor. She was handed over to the authorities, but since all of the evidence was destroyed she was released. Whitley met the Witchqueen Circe, who gave her two magic weapons, which transformed her into the Adjudicator, so she could take revenge against Wonder Woman and Katsumi, who she didn't know is really Wondergirl Troia.

  • At the theme park Colonial Times, Ben Lockwood was part of the entertainment. After a string of devastating events, he gave up on life and was about to end it all when he saw someone whose life was in danger. Wearing the same costume, he sprang into action and saved the woman. In the process, Lockwood also stopped an attempted terrorist attack on the theme park. Getting an enormous rush from the event, he got a new lease on life and became the hero Agent Liberty. Not long after, he gathered people from his old job who wanted to join his cause, forming the Sons of Liberty. The woman Ben saved at Colonial Times was Belle Garrick. Her Liberty Belle costume is (subliminally) in honor of him.

The Sentinel would over the years attempt to refine the process and make the discovery about the connection to cosmic ley lines. She helped free him and kept him from getting caught by the gorilla patrols long enough to acquire one of his power carrots and turn the tide. Leader Grod, furious at her betrayal, attempted to kill her by stabbing her with a replica wand from a movie series, but a gem (really a Darkstar fragment) she had stolen revived her. She drew the piece of wood from her chest and is able to channel her new abilities through it. She now works with Captain Carrot as Captain Katabra of the Captains of Zoology.

For the first time in ages, he graced the orphanage with his presence and took Barda to receive his personal attention. Although the other girls of the orphanage knew Barda was about to receive ongoing punishment that if she endured would probably wished she had died...they were jealous that Darkseid paid her such attention. On the 5th try, the scientists tried to suppress the combat programming and amplify its intelligence node, so that it could help them solve their problem. However, the lab was infiltrated and the scientists died. As the assassins approached the cyborg, it created a force field generator out of spare parts and detonated the facility's failsafe.
