The Rogue Republican Pt.2

Blood. Splattered across the wall like an exotic art piece. The man he had sought to kill laid there, unmoving, dead as he should be. Though as the shot went off, so did the alarm. With great haste, each patrolling guard of the wing rushed towards Russo's very cell. Only to find Russo's fallen corpse, and Will standing over it.

"H-hands on your head! Drop the weapon!" One of the guards commanded with a hesitant tone in his voice due to the sight of fallen Russo. What the guards failed to realize was that Will didn't notice they were there at all. Instead he had been lost in his own mind, "Oh god what did I do?!"

"Did you hear me!" The same guard yelled, swinging the caged door wide open, sending the but of his assault rifle straight into LeBeau's skull. And with that, Will fell to his stomach. As he hit the ground, each guard commenced their apprehension of Will by dogpiling on his back.

"I-I didn't mean to." Will silently cried, though no one heard. Instead, he was knocked out by a simple full force kick to the back of his head.

A few hours later, Will woke up. Though he wasn't in the confined he was battered in. Instead, he woke in a pitch room, where the only source of light was concentrated on Will. A spotlight of some sorts beamed over Will, causing his forehead to trickle in simultaneous beads of sweat. "Where am I?" The fallen "hero" weakly cried, though no one answered.

"Did you hear me?! Where am I?!" Will practically lept out of his seat, well, attempted to. As soon as he lifted off of the seat, Will realized the metal chains wrapped around his torso. And copper barbed wire huddled under it, digging into his skin.

"How do I get out of here?" Will mentally questioned, pulling on the chained and barb to only be lashed back by the searing pain of barbed wire. "You can't get out, only until you answer our questions" A grim voice spoke from the shadows, "William LeBeau"

"How the hell...?"

ADX Florence, by far one of the most secure if not, the most secure institute in America. They say whoever's unfortunate enough to be sent there never sees the sun, not anymore.

Home to 400 male prisoners, including the guy that killed my dad - Hugo Russo. Poor bastards locked up maximum security, for a good reason to.

They say the place is impossible to break out of. Prisoners who are kept there stay in their cells for an entire 20 hours, the other four for their designated rec and eating cycles.

Colorado from Connecticut was no easy task. If I said I walked the entire 1,919 miles I'd be lying. But then again, that's what planes are for.

I planned it all out, in and out, avenge my godforsaken dad, and get out. Leave a bullet, and most likely be shot at by a lot more.

Breaking in was the easy part. Avoiding the armed guards and blocking the cameras? Simple. But came the hard part.

There he stood, standing over the minuscule murderer. The man who ordered the hit on Will’s father stood right there, cowering.

In his left hand, Will cradled a simple .45. Pointed directly at the gang leaders bald head. And his finger, pressed against the trigger, shaking.

For a moment, Will just stood there silent as the night. If he was going to finally pull the trigger, he was going to have to get out quick. But that was only a matter if.

“P-please. I have a family” Russo spoke, trembling over his very words. Though the leaders plead for mercy did the exact opposite of what it should've done. Instead, it fueled.

“I did too.”

Blood Ties

What is the first thing you think of when you hear the name 'LeBeau'? A sickening person who needs to be wiped off the face of the Earth if they weren't already? A horrible memory you've remembered from your past, which was solely caused by a LeBeau? The family wasn't known for their heroic deeds nor were known for being great contributors to society. Instead, the line of the notorious Hyper-Sapiens was known for doing the exact opposite of said - good deeds. While it might be true that some of these LeBeau's are trying to do good, by their standards. Maybe forgiveness was the last thing these LeBeau's deserved, seeing as how they didn't give any themselves when they reigned supreme over others. Though as said before, there is still good left in the family, if one cares to see it or not. But there, sat one LeBeau who was found stuck on a crossroads. One who perceived himself as not a LeBeau, but an utter mistake. Was this person willing to go to the extent of proving others their sight of the mutant family was wrong or was he going to stand down and allow the public eye shred the name until it is no more? The only thing left for him was a war upon his wake, maybe it was inevitable, or maybe he just didn't care. Well, this person walked and walks a thin line, on one side laid a path of destruction, and the other, his true legacy. It was just to him, how he was going to fall.

Will held many secrets, his past being the biggest one. And never in his life had the LeBeau tell anyone, either they were close to him or not. He would always go by the code my past doesn't define me, but every time he would think of said past, the need to keep the truth a secret lingered a bit less. Will didn't know much of his Family legacy; the name LeBeau was nothing more than a surname to him. But to others, the name might even be one wouldn't dare to speak. It was a good thing most people he knew wasn't wary of his legacy line, except for one. But at the end of the day, nothing mattered to Will, judge him for his blood or not he would always be the same kid trying to get past the day.

The Call: 9:49 PM

Will sat there, in his room sitting at his desk writing down in his journal. The Smiths playing through his walkman, Will wasn't aware of anything going on around him until he did. A faint 'knock' managed to slip past Will's headphones and the music, catching his undivided attention. "Come in!" He yelled, turning his chair towards the direction of the door. Waiting for a little while, WIll realized there wasn't any response. Assuming it was just a prank Will rolls his eyes, throwing his headphones on once more until he heard it again. 'knock,' he once again took off his headphones, getting up off of his chair and to the door with a scoff, "Fine a$$hole..."

Will strolled over to the door, lazy as ever. His enigmatic self opens to door, to only see - no one there. He raises his brown eyebrows, peeping his head out of his room, scanning the entire diamond hallway, attempting to find a trace of anyone, but nothing came back. So right as the "Bird Boy" - as his friend Juno calls him, is about to close the door, a sensation of 'rings' was heard from down the hallway. "The hell?" He states his usual catchphrase and as always - in his mind. Deciding to check out what these mysterious noises would lead up to, Will walks down the hallway, in a somewhat dubious fashion.

As he follows the ringing sensation, Will finds himself at the end of the diamonds hallway, and the cause of all of the ringing - a payphone. He stood there aloof as ever, scratching his head confusingly, eyeing the vibrating phone. He stood for a long while before slowly pulling the phone off of the wall, and up to his right ear. "Hello?" He answered, still wary of who sat on the other side. "Hey Will"The voice on the other side called out to him, and immediately he became speechless.

A burning sensation within his chest began to beat deliberately. His body now became a shaky sensation, all due to the fact the voice on the other side struck his memories, pillaging them. "B-b-Barabara?" He stuttered in both confused and scared tones, "Yeah Will, it's me" The familiar voice once again spoke up, striking Will, causing him to now rub his facial laceration on his eye. He dragged his finger down, his eyebrow to his cheek. "How did you get this number?"

He asked, turning his back on the payphone, leaning against it, slowly sliding towards the ground. "That doesn't matter right now, what does matter is that I need your help" His eyebrows quirked down instantly, "You need my help? What makes you think I'll help you?" He answered her with a slightly more confident tone. "Cause, if you don't... you're little friends are gonna go 'boom'"Her soft voice made Will freeze, what was he going to do?

"You're lying" He answered back, slightly snapping at her "Am I?"He had no more to say, neither did she. Will knew exactly who he was talking to, and he knew what she wanted. He let go of the phone, allowing it to fall onto his lap. "You know where to find me," She said lastly, though he couldn't hear her due to the fact he dropped the phone. He just sat there, speechless. He had no choice, whatever plans 'Barbara' had, Will would be forced to play along with, for his friends.

It was here, she was here. His sister was back.
