@blur1528: Currently reading TMNT's 'The Secret History of the Foot Clan' and have read and collected all of Johns' previous work before The New 52 release. Any other suggestions including issue numbers?

@Squalleon: Nice continuity from part 1, Squall. This mini story arc seems to be getting interesting. Can't wait for the third part to be released!

p.s. from writing experiences, use less apostrophes; it mite work out for the better. I mean for the parts that are supposed to be thrilling, yes use them as much as possible to express the intensity of the situation. Other than that, lay low on it until those scenes come about or when you want to elaborate on the circumstances.

great choices! Loved the battles fought between Takeshi Tatsuo and The Yuu Clan. One of my favorite issues of TMNT as of right now. I felt that Spider-Man vs. Sinister Six was sort of corny in a way, but still a pretty well fought battle. I think most of the fights that Doc Ock will part-take in are going to be more of a strategic warfare rather than a hand-to-hand combat.

totally man! I'm happy I found comics as a good stress reliever and small vacation from life. Nothing beats coming from long day at work, having a beer or joint and reading a comic or two.

yupp, that's the best therapy right there ^ comics, beer and bud, maybe some soft music too..

@IX_Prophet_IX: yea definitely takes the mind off of reality and is almost a therapeutic drug for me too. I come from a stressful place in life right now as well; dealing with other things, and comics definitely takes me into a state of trance for sure.

@k4tzm4n: yea same here..but any story pertaining to an origin story line always seems to be really interesting, in my eyes. I'm not sure if it's just me, but I'm fascinated by superhero origin and those coming out of comic books. and yea I'm born and raised in Hawaii, but not sure tho, it's sort of a visa versa kind of thing. You guys get the most out of everything, while we have to go out and search what were looking for, sometimes only online. Like my local comic ship is 15-20 min away and is the one of two shops over here on Oahu (compared to how much comic shops there are on the states, in close proximity). We do get the best of the weather, waves, and lifestyle down here for sure tho. But if your interested in other things than those that part-take in hawaii, then your gonna have a difficult time with your extra hobby. Some other things are video games. I've played competitively on CoD for quite some time, even almost going pro..yesss, i no..but out of the couple years of playing competitively, I could not travel to the states with my team to compete in national events, as well as connect to them in private lobbies online due to connection error. Some things come at a advantage, while other are set to disadvantages..but it's a win-win situation; my main sport I part-take in is surfing, so I don't mind really. However, I do like to do things besides surfing and cruising with my friends the whole day 24/7 a week, like comics so it's kind of difficult to keep updated with. Every Wednesday's I do go down to my local comic shop and pick up the issues in my bin, tho. But thats my only source, besides here at Comic Vine. And that's why I love it over here. Comicvine.com is my homepage! lol.

Unarguably, one of the best IDW Publised issues every released. If you were a born around the 90's and remember watching 'TMNT' cartoon series growing up as a kid, I HIGHLY suggest you to stop by your local comic shop and pick this issue up. The new miniseries, written by the collaboration of both talents is definitely going to be raising lots of attention throughout the world of comics this new year.

Until now I thought I had just picked up the next TMNT issue (I thought that was quick!), the good folks at my LCS are good about throwing tie-ins in my bin, but I've skipped all the micro-series stuff in hopes that there's a trade released collecting them all in order to save a few bucks. Looks like I know what I should move to the top of my stack I'm about to read. Thanks Greg!

Honestly though I am trying to cut down on new series to save up for the child my fiance' and I are expecting...anyone know how long this series is running? As good as it sounds, I shouldn't be picking up another on-going title.

Definitely, go ahead and place this miniseries into your pull list. Worth dropping some titles to pick up on this series for sure.

And congratulations brother! hope you guys have the good life together raising your kid to be the best she/he can be. Definitely have to get your kid to enjoy the ocean..most peaceful place in the world..

        Again, congrats, from Hawaii
