After Bruce Banner had secretly given Jennifer a blood transfusion that would save her life, Jennifer must now control the unstoppable power of the Hulk while maintaining a normal life in the City of Angels. Jennifer's exploits as the She-Hulk don't stay secret for long as a government sanctioned task force locks in on her and the self interests of dangerous people will stop at nothing to possess Jennifer's power.

Ryker figured using gamma enhanced enforcers to apprehend the Hulk is the best option however, he would need to keep his superhuman foot soldiers more compliant so he injects them with the Hulk's blood laced with nano-bombs that would detonate if the subjects become unstable.

  • Col. Cary St. Lawrence graduated top of her class at West Point and has fought every adversity as a woman in the military. Unlike everybody else, Cary sees the Hulk as a victim of circumstance rather than a criminal but she must apprehend Jennifer before General Ryker harvests the Hulk strain from Walters. Cary and Jennifer were best friends.

  • Lt. Sally Riker is General Ryker's sister and an officer within the Los Angeles Police Department. Sally Riker admired Sheriff Walters for his service towards Los Angeles but doesn't condone his daughter's actions as a vigilante. Sally feels She-Hulk may one day lose control like Banner but she may be more dangerous and cunning than he was.

  • Morris Walters was the sheriff of LA County until he retired his badge and gun. The death of his wife and the failure to put Traskov behind bars made Morris cynical about the justice system.

  • Elaine Ann Walters was murdered by Russian mobster Niccolai Traskov as a form of retaliation for Sheriff Walters' interference in his affairs.

  • Mallory Book has been fighting for those effected by the gamma related incidents involving Bruce Banner. Her prime client is Samuel Sterns who has reached out to Mallory despite his confines at a SHIELD installation.

  • The Abomination agreed to give samples of his irradiated blood to be used as a means to kill Betty Ross and drive Bruce Banner mad with grief. The Red Hulk has started slaying all gamma irradiated subjects and Emil Blonsky was his first victim.

  • Angmo-Asan is the leader of an alien horde that came to Earth to colonize it after its downfall. The Red King sent his assassin to kill the Hulk but Caiera fell in love with the Hulk and betrayed the Red King. As the Hulk's final act of mercy, he spared the Red King and imprisoned him. Angmo-Asan bides his time until he exacts his revenge.

  • Psyklop is the leader of the insectoids known only as the Natives. Psyklop possesses the ability of peeling back the barriers that one creates within their minds thereby uncovering their darkest secrets. Psyklop and Hiro-Kala have joined forces in locating an ancient power hidden deep within the planet. Psyklop also murdered Queen Jarella.

  • Visalia is Jarella's sister and a part of the Hulk's inner circle in Dystopia. Visalia is a skilled seductress who wants the throne for herself. After Jarella's death, the Hulk refused to take on another as his queen. Visalia and her brother Visis are secretly planning a coup.

  • Visis is Visalia's brother and leader of the Warbound. Visis and his cunning sister Visalia are secretly planning a coup to overthrow the Hulk.
