List items

  • Loki's spirit lives on through the eyes of his children. Loki realizes the errors of his ways and what it has cost so many personally as well as emotionally. Loki must help his children overcome their flaws in order to save Midgard from the impending invasion of Hela's undead legion and those who hold Loki in utter disregard.

  • Leah is the daughter of Loki and Sigyn. Leah was born with the misfortune of dying but a knack for resurrection every time. Leah has become a servant of Hela, her malicious aunt of the Underworld. Loki's guiding voice will give Leah the ability to rise up from her melancholy disposition and stop Hela.

  • Sigyn was the Goddess of Fidelity and she was betrothed to Theoric, captain to Odin's personal guard. Loki had made advances towards Sigyn in the past but she was disgusted by Loki's mischievous character. Loki lured Theoric into an ambush with the Rock Trolls led by King Geirrodur. With Theoric dead, Loki assumed the identity of Theoric in order to bed Sigyn. Sigyn gave birth to Leah who was born with the misfortune of dying and being reborn each time in an endless cycle. Sigyn eventually learned of Theoric's death and kidnapped Loki to inflict her punishment upon him. Sigyn chained Loki to a stump while a snake from a hanging branch dripped its acidic venom onto Loki's face. Over time, Sigyn grew to pity then love Loki for his dispositions and when Loki was freed by the Warriors Three, Sigyn was banished by Odin but she never condemned Loki for his role in Theoric's death. Sigyn was on Asgard when Surtur destroyed the realm because she wanted to rejoin her Theoric and suffer no longer.

  • Vali Willis is Loki's only son and for a brief time, the only one who had moments of contact with his father. Vali was often regarded as a "halfling" by Loki's cohorts during his petty schemes to kill his brother Thor. Vali was viewed as Loki's shame for conceiving a child with a mortal and was never welcomed back into Asgard. Vali grew hateful and vindictive towards the gods of Asgard. Vali intended to create a Pantheon of gods on Midgard that would rival and one day overthrow the Asgardians. Vali took command of the Norse Paganists after their defeat with SHIELD and proved his leadership when he wielded the lost Berserker Staff. With the Berserker staff enhancing Vali's power, Vali transformed the paganists into a force to be reckoned with. Some paganists became brutish warriors who can channel energy then disperse it while others became empathic and create weapons of pure energy.

  • Verity Willis has always been unsociable because most of the people she meets are natural born liars. Verity inherited her father's pub when she was older and she likes being a bartender since people tend to be more truthful when they are drunk. Verity became Loki's only kindred spirit on Midgard because she could see beyond Loki's charm and glamour. Loki was impressed then enamored by Verity's abilities to see beyond his lies. Unbeknownst to Loki, Verity's family was entrusted by Odin with an Asgardian treasure called the Andvaranaut ring which allowed its bearer to see pass anyone who was untruthful. Loki fathered two children with Verity. As a mother, it wasn't easy for Verity to raise two children on her own especially when they inherited all of their father's flaws.

  • Contessa "Tess" Black never knew her father and was envious of her brother Vali because she felt discarded for being born a girl. Tessa adopted the moniker of Morwen the Black Witch and like her brother, she had a drive to harness a power to overthrow the gods of Asgard. At one point, she sought the aid of the Ancient One at Kamar Taj but was rejected for the vengeance in her heart. Morwen attacked parts of London after the Dark Elves invaded Greenwich but the mystics of Kamar Taj defeated Morwen and relieved her of the Dark Sceptre. Morwen was imprisoned in the London Sanctum Sanctorum along with the Dark Sceptre but she was freed when Kaecilius destroyed the Sanctum. Morwen chose to remain in hiding until she learned the extent of her power while wielding the Dark Sceptre and attack when the time is right.

  • Arkin adopted his father's trade as a stone mason but was considered weak by others. Arkin tried to woo Princess Knorda, daughter of the Mountain Giant king Bodolf and when Arkin was drafted into the Berserker ranks, he saw an opportunity to impress Knorda. Arkin ultimately gave up his fruitless endeavor to win over Knorda and chose to live on Earth when he fell in love with Midgard's people especially their women. In the modern day, Arkin is known as Prof. Elliot Randolph and he has aided SHIELD on two different occasions. Arkin is found by Leah who escaped the Underworld thanks Loki. Leah needs Arkin's help to rally her wayward siblings in order to stop the impending invasion from Hel. Both Arkin and Leah deal with the Norse Paganists first when they are reestablished by Vali.

  • Bodolf was a viking lord who prayed to Thor for good fortune in times of battle. Over time, Bodolf became over confident and no longer prayed to Thor for his blessing. Bodolf's hubris cost him his wealth, his army and his kingdom. Bodolf again prayed to the gods for forgiveness but none answered his prayers except for Loki. Loki told Bodolf that in order to reclaim his honor and glory, he would need to kill a creature whose avarice was equal to his and drink their blood. Bodolf journeyed to the golden trove of Fafnir, a dragon whose greed surpassed any king's. Bodolf killed the dragon, drank its blood and became the first Mountain Giant. Bodolf and those who followed after him have been sworn enemies of Odin's bloodline and of Loki's because it was the God of Mischief that tricked Bodolf to an accursed life.

  • Fafnir is a greedy dragon who has pillaged villages and kingdoms for their riches. It was Bodolf who slew the dragon and drank its blood.
