  • After living in the Batman's shadow for three years, Dick Grayson is considering leaving the Dynamic duo behind but things become complicated for Dick when the Court of Owls starts appearing from out of nowhere and tries to abduct him.

  • The Joker has lost his playmate Harley Quinn to Task Force X but things become interesting when the Court of Owls cause a mass breakout at Arkham Asylum and Blackgate.

  • Alfred's father Jarvis was Bruce's original caretaker. Alfred eventually comes across his father's journal which was hidden in the Wayne Family library. The journal details crucial information that Bruce and Alfred will need in exposing the Court.

  • Jonathan Crane is the nephew of Alfred Pennyworth. Alfred has tried to reach out to Jonathan since Alfred's cousin Gerald Crane was a poor father figure. Jonathan has been reluctantly working with Poison Ivy in enhancing their chemical compounds which will bring Gotham to its knees.

  • Lucius Fox has been temporarily suspended from acting duties within Wayne Enterprises because of his son's involvement with a thrill seeking gang called the Terrible Trio. In his stead, Lucius has appointed Celia Kazantkakis to assist Bruce at Wayne Enterprises.

  • Celia Kazantkakis became aware of her ancestral ties to the Court when she fled Gotham. Celia proclaims herself to be a descendant of Athena, the founding deity who established the Court of Owls. Celia believes that Thomas Wayne Jr. is her keen ally in destroying the Wayne Legacy but she fails to realize that she is being played.

  • Leslie Thompkins was about to perform corrective surgery for Harvey Dent in order to complete his therapy and put an end to the Two-Face persona. Unfortunately, the Court of Owls has other plans for Two-Face and Dr. Thompkins.

  • Harvey was about to have his face corrected by surgery when the COurt of Owls interrupted. Owlman tells Two-Face that he will serve as Janus the Court's prosecutor when they put Bruce Wayne on trial for his crimes against the Court.

  • Oliver Queen is on the hunt for Prometheus because he leveled a huge section of Star City and ripped off Roy Harper's arm off.

  • Chad Graham witnessed the death of his parents by two officers James Gordon and Harvey Bullock. His parents were thieves who had run a foul with Maxie Zeus. Chad's parents had to make amends by paying homage to Zeus. Chad has come back to Gotham exact his revenge on the two cops who murdered his parents but he has chosen the moniker Prometheus to terrorize Maxie Zeus.

  • Maxie Zeus is the owner of the Olympus Nightclub. Maxie has recently suffered delusions of godhood and believes himself to be the Greek God of Thunder. Maxie continues to be plagued by the presence of Hades (Batman) but Zeus' consort Demeter (Poison Ivy) ensures her beloved that Hades will be cast back into the depths of Tartarus.

  • Pamela Isley was reborn as Poison Ivy by her mentor Jason Woodrue. After killing Woodrue, Ivy was beginning to learn the full extent of her power. She has recently become Maxie Zeus' consort at the Olympus Nightclub where she conducts her experiments in secret.

  • Barbara Gordon exposed Drury Walker for operating a protection racket while maintaining the false persona of Cameron Von Cleer, a Gotham socialite. Barbara is now being stalked by a crazed individual in a moth outfit.

  • Drury Walker was a nobody until he started working for Maxie Zeus. Drury ran a protection racket for Zeus and in exchange, Drury was a given the false persona of Cameron Von Cleer, a Gotham socialite. Drury had aspirations to be just as big as Bruce Wayne but everything came crashing down when Barbara Gordon exposed him. Drury has adopted his identity as Killer Moth and has begun stalking Barbara Gordon.

  • Drug Stash Side Mission: Batman and James Gordon must work together to put an end to the distribution of the Fever drug. Prometheus' vendetta against Gordon is shared with Barton Mathis aka Dollmaker.

  • Drug Stash Side Mission: Barton Mathis' father was a cannibal and Barton would often dine with his father. Barton's father was killed by James Gordon when he was a rookie cop. Mathis has recently taken ownership of Rizzo's Funeral parlor and works alongside Scarface but his interests run deeper than just drugs.

  • Drug Stash Side Mission: Don Scarelli was presumed dead but thanks to Arnold Wesker, the ghost of Don Scarelli lives on in Scarface. From behind the shadows, Scarface and Wesker maintain the ongoing distribution of the Fever drug with Dollmaker and Blockbuster.

  • Drug Stash Side Mission: Rolando Marcos-Desmond is Scarface's muscle and his point man in Tijuana. Scarface and Blockbuster have been bringing in a designer drug called Fever into Gotham through Rizzo's Funeral Parlor.

  • Bank Heist Side Mission: With the help of Lucius Fox, Harvey Bullock busted Warren White for stealing millions from inside stock tips. Harvey must reluctantly work with Batman in order to stop Warren's Terrible Trio.

  • Bank Heist Side Mission: Warren's arrest at the hands of Det. Bullock came at a great cost. His accounts were frozen and his legal tactic of being sent to Arkham backfired when Victor Fries disfigured him. Warren did managed to set up Lucius' son as a criminal and now he intends to steal every scent that Bullock stole from him.

  • Bank Heist Side Mission: Warren made two allies while in Arkham. Humphrey Dumpler was a gargantuan individual who liked to pull things apart because he saw imperfections and put them back together in the order that he deemed perfect. Dumpler's family crest is that of a two-headed Vulture. Warren made him a part of his Terrible Trio.

  • Bank Heist Side Mission: Jane Doe's mysterious but continued existence is thanks to the Court's life prolonging Electrum. She has no epidermis but she does have the unique talent of mimicking anyone's voice and then she kills her victims so that she can pose as them in order to achieve her goal. Warren views Jane as a kitsune, a mystical fox that can assume any form which makes her valuable to the Terrible Trio.

  • Bank Heist Side Mission: Sherman Fine has been assisting his colleague Warren White in getting his funds back.

  • Riddler Trophy Side Mission: Stephanie Brown wants to team up with the Batman to bring her father into custody. Batman tries to push her away but Stephanie is persistent and relentless.

  • Riddler Trophy Side Mission: When Batman exposed Nygma, Edward assumed the identity of the Riddler and started his own TV show called the Riddle Factory. In doing so, Riddler gained a new enemy...the Cluemaster.

  • Riddler Trophy Side Mission: Arthur Brown was once a famed game show host of Price Change until his show was cancelled for another which was called the Riddle Factory. Arthur managed his time of unemployment by deducing who the Batman was then he came up with a plan to get his revenge on the Riddler and toy with Bruce Wayne.

  • Mutilated Body Crime Scene Side Mission: Batman and Jason Todd must team up to put an end to the dozens of dead bodies that have been in Gotham's wake. Jason has a personal stake in this because his girlfriend Natalia Knight has fallen sway to the Mad Monk.

  • Mutilated Body Crime Scene Side Mission: The Mad Monk serves the will of Barbatos, a Bat God of Miagani Tribe. The Monk views Batman as a rival who intends to harness the unspeakable power of Barbatos.

  • Mutilated Body Crime Scene Side Mission: Natalia "Dala" Knight is the daughter of Charles Knight, a Gotham socialite who was recently killed. Natalia inherited her father's estate and fell for the bad boy Jason Todd. When Natalia becomes entranced by the Monk, Jason would do anyhting to save her from this vampiric cult.

  • Mutilated Body Crime Scene Side Mission: Cornelius Stirk is a cannibal who serves the will of the Mad Monk which is the same dynamic as Dracula and Renfield.

  • Sniper Crime Scene Side Mission: Huntress has a vendetta against all organized crime. She takes a personal interest when the Russian mob brings KGBeast to assassinate their competition. Batman must either convince or stop Huntress from killing KGBeast.

  • Sniper Crime Scene Side Mission: KGBeast has been brought in by the Russian mob to eliminate high ranking members of Gotham's Criminal Underworld.

  • Bomb Disposal Side Mission: Kate must work with the Batman to bring down her father's prodigy Ulysses Armstrong.

  • Bomb Disposal Side Mission: Ulysses Hadrian Armstrong was Col. Kane's prize pupil. Armstrong has put Lonnie Machlin into a chemical induced coma. Armstrong intends to create a fictional threat in Gotham while posing as Anarky in order to demonstrate to Colonel Kane that his military superiority is unparalleled.

  • Bomb Disposal Side Mission: Dusan al Ghul aka the White Ghost has been working with Armstrong because he wants to cleanse Gotham of the cancer that has grown within the city for too long.

  • Bomb Disposal Side Mission: Whisper A'Daire is Dusan's second in command. She is a seductress who has manipulated Kate's feelings. Whisper's knowledge in poisons was contributed to Anarky's biological weapons of mass destruction.

  • High Speed Chase Side Mission: Catwoman must rely Batman to stop Clayface because Karlo is responsible for the deaths of a few working girls who were found murdered in the East End Docks.

  • High Speed Chase Side Mission: Basil Karlo has Ratcatcher steal metamorphic samples from secured science labs throughout Gotham. Basil intends to become the Ultimate Clayface.

  • Hostage Side Mission: Jervis Tetch represents the Lesson of Lust. He had kidnapped Kate's young sister Elizabeth Kane and transformed her into his perverse version of Alice. Renee will do everything she can to save Kate's sister.

When Jade was young, she was sold in a sex slave trafficking scheme that Jervis had concocted with other pedophiles across the globe.   • Hostage Side Mission: The White Rabbit represents the Lesson of Deceit. The White Rabbit leads a double life as Jaina Hudson, a Gotham socialite who secretly aids the Mad Hatter with her connections.

  • Hostage Side Mission: The Tweedles represent the Lesson of Greed. The Tweedles work for Mad Hatter but for a price.
