Between New Earth's present time and the Legion of Super Heroes future, there is a span of time that goes "Beyond" imagination. It is electrifying. It is awe inspiring. It is terrifyingly uncertain. It is DC Beyond. Some will disagree with me but New Earth’s reality will be joined with DC Beyond very soon. Just look at the latest revamp of DC. The merger between these two realities is probably going to be brought together by the conclusion of Flashpoint. Just to fill you in on what has already conspired. Dick will become Nightwing again according to the Batman Beyond future because he is later injured by Joker after he kidnapped Tim Drake and Alfred Pennyworth. Tim Drake will eventually be corrupted by the Joker despite the age difference between the Return of the Joker movie and Red Robin’s ongoing series. Oracle will eventually get her legs back from some kind of surgery or maybe from the Lazarus Pits.

As for the rest of the Bat family, I can only speculate that Stephanie Brown will probably continue being Batgirl or Spoiler until old age kicks in. Damian will probably become Terry's worst nightmare because Terry is the only son that Bruce really has a connection with. Jason Todd might become a threat or uncooperative ally of Terry’s. As for Cassandra Cain, perhaps she, her father David Cain and her mother Lady Shiva will kill each other off.

Now I know what some of you may be thinking, Raven Vice, you have gone too far. I say “on the contrary.” DC has endured a couple of Crisis and each time, something is over written as if it didn’t exist or it merges with another reality. As for the Batman 700 issue, it is no different from Damian's story from issue 666 where he had all of Gotham rigged to blow. They are both possible alternate futures that will either come together or vanish thanks to Flashpoint or some future crisis.

Things to look forward to: Superman Beyond is coming up soon but honestly Superman has had a good run and had enough time to fight the good fight in the lime light but its time for others to have a shot. I mean let’s face it, Superman always leaves Earth or Metropolis in order to find himself because he is having a crisis of identity or conscience. Heroes don’t take long periods of time off. It has been brought to my attention that users like demented the clown would like Static Shock to have a chance with a Beyond series. That would actually be cool because it would be like Samuel L. Jackson kicking ass but with lightning. My only suggestion would be to combine Static with Flash and call it Flash vs. Static or “Those who ride the lightning” or something to that effect. Plus if DC were to produce a Justice League or Justice Society Beyond comic series, “Well need I say more.” Words can’t express how mind blowing those concepts can be and probably will be.
