@DonFelipe: Whoa... That's a bit roundabout... There's a character on Fringe crafted as an homage to Bowie in The Man Who Fell to Earth?!? I may need to start watching Fringe... :)
Besides the new single, Bowie turned 66 this past Wednesday. That might explain him popping-up (awesomely) twice among this week's art picks.
I don't believe I've ever seen Gene Gonzales' work before but his Rogue sketch is really quite striking. Phil Noto is always amazing.
@DonFelipe, @Onemoreposter: Thomas Jerome Newton is David Bowie's character in the The Man Who Fell to Earth (1976). It's a nutty film but I'd recommend it. :)
@Baberaham_Lincoln: Fair enough. I wouldn't say I didn't like entirely. I'll simply say I'm not sold on it's premise. I think this series has the potential to be quite interesting but the first issue left me somewhat ambivalent. I'm going to give Spurrier a few issues to sell me on it. The addition of Jorge Molina on art can't hurt, though. :)
I've always liked when Legion showed-up in an X-Men storyline because he's always a wildcard; he's just so unpredictable.
@RedQueen: Yeah, I love Joe Madureira's work. I'm also in love with the new Captain Marvel book and think Dexter Soy is crafting some gorgeous panels... Particularly that page you posted.
I have to rotate; I could never choose one cover or page. There are just to many great artists these days. :)
